This is true. After all, they did introduce a main villain into the plot, someone much stronger than megaman.

I do have thoughts about Sonia's song. After hearing part of what the anchor said, I think they are trying to put english verses in the same tune as in the original. But, I'm afraid of what it's going to be about.

Gemini's voice is really not bad, considering he is my favorite FM. His voice is much more deeper as an FM, but he almost reminds me of Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh!) in his EM Wave Change form (that's just me, though). Pat's voice puts Jakotsu (Inuyasha) in my mind, and his VA puts more mischief in him (once again, my oddball opinion) during his EM Wave Change form.

I also have to agree with Razor to hold off. After all, these aren't real episodes. This was a preview to put curiosity into everyone's head for those who don't know or aren't familiar to the series. Plus, it makes good advertising for the game that came out.

Well, I admit I may have missed something where they said it was a preview (they should have if it was one), but it doesn't make much sense. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's hard when I can't go back to confirm, but they transitioned the ending of Ep. 12 right into part of Ep. 15. No commercial breaks. It just flowed together.

As it was, I figured they skipped that week with no new online episode so that there would be something new to get tv viewers to watch. But it wasn't that they didn't have the time to air the complete 9+12, if indeed that was merely a preview. Especially with how much of 15+16 that aired. Then they could have just done a much shorter preview deal after. If it was a preview, it just doesn't seem like it was handled properly at all. Why not preview Tsukasa's/Pat's first meeting with Gemini part rather than give all that battle stuff now? Or his first appearance with Ikuta? I hope it was just a preview, but something still seems fishy to me. :/

Just saw the 2 hour special on cartoon network. I really liked it and the opening theme rocks! Looking forward to the episodes.

Reasons why I don't think this will be the "final" versions of the episodes?

What should be episode 5 (Taurus Fire's defeat), only makes up half of an episode.

The edited Virus Human story + Gemini Spark bit doesn't add up to a full episode on its own, and if you attach it to the Taurus fire debacle, you run OVER the allotted time.

so, yeah, I think it's just some crap CN threw together.

Okay, once it got around to the second half of the Taurus fight, I thought "Wait, I don't remember this from online... Hey! This is the second half of the fight! WTF?!". Then that bit with the human-virus fusion, it definately messed it up, since it just moved onto that instead of just putting a commercial break or something. :/ ( Plus, like RM said, they skipped the first 3 minutes or so of the virus fusion.)

Thing that got me was the part where they just moved on to Gemini. I already remembered that there were supposed to be a couple eps before Gemini got in on the action... and what the heck is with calling Sonia Strumm, Sonia 'Sky'? I mean, it sounds nice and all, but it might be the beginning of horrible dub name changes like they did with NT Warrior. ( I can take WackoMan and TorchMan, but names like MoltanicMan, where 'moltanic' isn't even a real word by my knowledge, is definately crossing the line. Oi. Twisted Evil

)

And I'm reaally hoping that CN doesn't skip eps like KidsWB did. ( I mean, they scrapped together parts of 37 ( Crimson Flash.) with 33 and 36, right? Let's hope that CN doesn't go down that road. Some of my favorite shows are on CN. Sad

NT Warrior's changes were from the beginning. It would be pretty odd if they chose now to fly off the handle, and thus, it's not really realistic.

Just wait a bit, guys, before we fly off the handle, and see how things actually are with further episodes before we jump to conclusions.

I watched it! Hated the opening theme, though it was a very large improvment over the NT Warrior/Axess crap. Still don't see why they couldn't have kept Heartwave, they kept the Japanese openings for Naruto n stuff, why not Megaman?

...oh well.

The voices didn't bug me as much as some of the one's in other animes. ( Like Naruto's in the english dub -_-) But overall, I though they did an okay job on it, though i really would've liked to hear Heartwave. =/

I kinda spaced off and didn't see the part with the virus human and defeat of Taurus, though I do think that was just a compressed version so they could air some stuff that hasn't been online.

As for the skipping Ikuta and Sonia eps I think its well explained in what was shown of the Gemini eps.

The anchorman mentioned she was ill and her concert was cancelled or what ever. But see if Geo had already met her, you think that him or Omega would make a comment about her, you know kinda "I wonder if she's going to be alright"

I like how they moved the filler to right after an FM defeat because from then on it seems to get stuff to flow better. So once they air the full ep 5, from the FM stuff should be rather consistant, I mean they had it so it went Cygnus gets defeated then Ox is introduced, doesn't really go to well together in an episode.

Hopefully those were condensed versions of ep 5 and 6, and not an actual ep5 itself, becuase yeah would of been to much stuffed into one thing.

See this way we didn't get a Defeat Taurus, introduce HarpNote. This way at least both the Gemini Spark episodes were together.

See I really feel that the final section was a kitbash for ep 5 and 6, Hopefulyl when they do air the indivual eps this holds true, and we get an actual 5 and 6, then 7 would be Sonia and Harpnote, and 8 would be Libra's episodes. then back to episode 17 and 18 for the 9th episode.

One thing I absolutely loved about that marathon (even if I've said it like a thousand times now), is Pat and Rey's voices. They roooooooock D:

I believe Pat's done by Wrath's english VA from Fullmetal Alchemist, but I'm not sure.

I watched the first hour of what Toonami showed last night, and I must say, that actually made this show a little bit better and less boring. I stopped watching the Jp version at ep 5 (although I have downloaded every ep thus far, and plan to watch it when the season ends), but if it weren't for other engagements, I probably would have watched the full 2 hour block. However, at the rate they were editing them together, I thought they were going to finish the season in that 2 hours. Razz

So, how many Jp episodes are mixed in each US episode?
