However, at the rate they were editing them together, I thought they were going to finish the season in that 2 hours. So, how many Jp episodes are mixed in each US episode? |
Two.
As for the whole Rey not being there, what the heck do ya guys mean? Pat is gemini spark white, Rey is gemini spark black. | Note: Pat is willing to live as a superior being, which causes him to believe that humans are inferior to him. In other words, he doesn't have schytzopherenia in the anime, Gemini is the black one while Pat is the white one. |

What SeijinKage said.
If you've noticed, Hikaru is never mentioned in the anime, which is important to note because Gemini is the only evil FM to call his host by name. Gemini only references Tsukasa, not Hikaru. Also, Tsukasa himself has never mentioned the existance of Hikaru.
Furthermore, if you pay close attention, you'll also notice that Spark Black speaks in Gemini's voice sans the echo/static effects. _________________

Yes the Sonia and Libra eps were skipped for the special at least chances are they might get put right after Gemini, or have them re aired in the proper order later, since you cant get 6 half hour episodes into a 2 hours block. even at 20 min an epsiode with commercials its not possible. so the rushed 5 and 6 aparently to feel what ever space they had left after the first 4, though not sure exactly how the managed it.
As for the name issue, I think it will be another instance of Singer/Note issue that we had early on with RnR, I think Sky is her stage name, and Strumm is her actuall last name, or the other way around, not sure. But yeah, I do believe that in the RnR anime, in the first harpnote episode it mentioned harp Singer, and the second said harp note leading to confusion, turned out Harp singer was her stage name. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

You mean the opening theme that's nothing but techno garbage and the word "megaman" at the end? Yeah, real rocking. |
I don't know where you hear "techno". I hear percussions, guitars, orchestra and electronic sounds. Very cool mixture, futuristic and unique. The original japanese theme was crappy pseudo techno/dance, aweful and cheesey. But hey, you can't argue about taste. Anyways, if I can buy it, it will go on the ipod. |

Some people like jpop, some don't. Those like the original theme better, the others don't.
Honestly? I'm not a man of jpop/rock, but you can't tell me that song you hear in the beginning is anything that would fit in a Megaman series. Futuristic? Yeah sure.
If you're biased against jpop it's fine, but don't come saying the intro was actually good: it was just random percussions, some strings, with a robot voice "megaman", and it had as much melody as nowdays hip hop. -.- _________________ SPOILER:

The original theme was real standard Jpop like the exe shows. What we have here, is a instrumental. That's what it is. |

If you're gonna turn this into an objective argument, then there's no way this can really be countered. :/ This is a matter of opinion, all things involved in art ARE. You can't tell someone they can't think something is good.
That said, in other news...
Episode 5 is on Jetstream, titled "Two New Visitors." As I predicted, it puts Sonia's introduction back in its proper place, as the episode's second half after Taurus's defeat.
Sonia is still Sonia Sky. Oh well.
EDIT - Hm. Looks like Sonia has a song in the next episode, a dub version, and when Lyra emerges in her EM Wave Form, she calls herself Lyra Knot... |

Dub theme song sucks. Sounds like a bad version of "Axel F" which is from the 80's.
Moving on.
Lyra Note. That makes more sense than it did in the game, wherin which, though the FM was named Lyra, the fusion retained the name Harp Note. Go figure. _________________

well, keep in mind, she calls herself that at the point where Harp Note is calling herself Harp SINGER. |

With any luck, they'll fix that in the dub. Though, since it's a dub, I may be setting my hopes up too high. _________________

I'm confused. I just saw the episode today, and I heard her say Lyra Note, not Knot. Also, the song was not as bad as I figured, but the least they could do was makes the lyrics relevant to the original. Overall, they managed to match the script with the original perfectly. If they manage to keep it up, I'm guessing that more people are bound to watch it. |

I'm a bit iffy about that whole EM Gattling thing at the end of Taurus Troubles. If they can fit EM Gattling, they can just as easily say Gattling Gun. But, I'm just being picky.
What BOTHERED me the most is simply that Toonami Jetstream needs to rebuffer every three seconds...
Another thing that bothered me is that they didn't play the call-band from the original. In fact, I didn't hear anything resembling a song when Lyra should've been playing.
As for Lyra herself, she's got a pretty cool voice. And Sonia is indeed a very good singer, which is a huge relief to those anticipating episode 17 or 18. _________________

Someday someone will write me a Tsukasa x Subaru fanfic kekeke... _________________

Raz0r probably heard "knot" instead of "note"
Lyra Note Sounds "okay", but I'd prefer Harp Note because I'm a picky bastard and the game had it like that.
As for the actual voices...I like Sonia's and Lyra's e_e; And the song next episode....Her voice is a lot deeper. (obviously not her singing).
I'm trying to figure out why they keep putting the little preview to miniscule events in the episode before the episode starts. It's kind of....annoying.
As for the OP, I just feel that this ....well, I'll just call it crap, cause that's what it sounds like, doesn't fit with the OP's images. Heart Wave was great because it actually fit. This one tries, but it's not trying hard enough. It's all 'z0mg hardcore music'. Though I guess the part where it skips to the blurry images of the constellations is okay, the music still irks me. Even if it's trying. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Maybe it's your computer? Mine never has to rebuffer, it's usually good after buffering one time.
I think the show is alright. I've always had trouble getting into the anime no matter what series it was. I'll probably watch a few more episodes and then stop watching it. I haven't watched an episode of the original Japanese one either. _________________ Name shortened from Serenade.exe |

It had to rebuffer for me in scene 4 several times. But I've never encountered that before. I suspect that my connection was a bit restricted cause I had a lot of stuff opened at once. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Yeah, that happened to me during the second part: I had REO up so I could post my thoughts as I watched the episode. :3 Then I thought, "maybe it's being so retarded because I have another window open." so I closed the window. Part 3 played flawlessly, but then it got retarded again around part 4, and I had nothing open.
I just have a retarded computer. XP _________________
