Reasons why we never get to see navis' hair/eyes

All right, I have something to point out about the Rock and Netto being identical twins thing.

Rock was created from Saito's DNA, but the .001% difference was created to prevent Netto from being hurt when Rock was. Right? However, if Saito and Netto weren't identical twins, then why would Hikari-hakase need to create a .001% difference in the DNA at all? If Saito and Netto weren't identical twins but Rock and Netto's DNA are identical, then that would mean that Rock was Netto's clone rather than his twin brother. Does that make sense?

Now to get back on topic... Maybe Navis can remove their helmets but we never see them? We usually see Navis on the Net and they can get attacked by viruses. The only Navi we see off the Net on a regular basis is Rock, but he and Netto are prone to going on the Net at a moment's notice so Rock has to be battle-ready at all times. Now does *that* make sense?

Okay, for those of you who still want to see an official drawing of Saito/Rockman, here it is:

Anyways, if I remember correctly from science class we talked about eye colour being hereditary. In the MAJORITY (not all) cases, the parent of the XX sex (female) will pass on their eye colour to the offspring of XY sex (male) and vice versa. Perfect example is my family. I have blue eyes, and so does my sister and dad. My brothers and mum however, all have hazel eyes.

Now to explain Rockman having GREEN eyes instead of Brown like his mum's and twin's, there are a few explanations:

Yuuichirou could have programed them to be a different colour. He only used the DNA as a base for Rockman's programming, and it would have been possible to alter the eye colour as well as hair.

OR

The DNA change of 0.001% could have changed his eye colour. Every human has 46 chromosomes that make up our DNA and each chromosome is made up of hundreds and even thousands of genes. According to This Wikipedia Article, Males have 23,364 genes and Females have 24,332 genes. Even altering your DNA by that little percentage could have a major effect.

I know a lot of fans like to think of Saito having brown eyes (I'm one of them) and I have seen quite a bit of fanart with him having those brown eyes. I've even seen some fanart with both Netto and Saito with a mixture of both green and brown (see the link in my sig).

Oh, and something interesting about Identical twins: While their DNA may be the same, their fingerprints are not, because fingerprints are formed on the skin by the amneotic fluid from the womb. ^_^

Okay, i wanna add some about Green eye matter.

Green or Blue eye, or should i say the differences of eye colour depends on these 2 major facts :
1. Genes
2. Human Race

Japanese people usually have brown to black eyes. Now why Saito has green instead of brown (from his parents and Netto)?
If Yuuichirou is Recessive Heterogen Sex (xY), while Haruka is Dominant Heterogen (Xx), so if we make genetic board there will be like this

Xx,XY,xY.

From the three we found one recessive, and one dominant. The recessive is xY, it's male, and the dominant is XY, it's male also.

So we could see that why Saito dies while Netto lives is because of something which is called Lethal Gen. This thing usually happens to the recessive but there is also possibilities to the dominant.
Lethal Gen kills the individual at stage of about 5 months which the sign is abnormalities of organ development.

I could say that Netto is dominant since his eye is brown. While Saito (in Rockman aspect) is recessive with Lethal Gen since his eye is green and he can't live.

So, green eye is somewhat possible, since recessive gen could make another eye colour, which mainly is blue. So, i think Saito with blue eye is suitable

you know... it is always possible that Rockman's eye color was just a mistake, and any reasoning behind it was made up afterwards. It's the same color as Roll's, anyway. It also came in handy in the beast finale because you could tell that the double beast transformation was really netto from his eye color

I once had a theory about the original subject of this topic.

It's that all Navis' helmets are permanently attached to their heads. Hence, as stated in one of my fanfics, that it would be physically impossible to beat a Navi to death with their own helmet.

From my point of view, I think their helmets can't be taken off cause it's like, a part of them. When Navis get hurt, their clothes don't get torn up, right? We never saw the skin under their gloves or anything. When Rockman dress up in a tuxedo, you could notice his suit was still underneath.

Hmm.. I guess eye colour doesn't matter in the anime world. There are many anime with eye colour like, purple, pink, red and so on.

I love Rockman's green eye anyways. Too bad my eyes are black in colour. Crying or Very sad

Forgot to mention the helmet thing.
I think their helmet is a part of their head. Therefore, it can't be taken off, though, it's kinda strange to have hairs beneath the helmet, but i think it's not hair like we, humans, have also
