I'm gonna step in and say I just realized who plays as Gemini and Pat. Gemini is played by Kirk Thornton (also Saix from Kingdom Hearts II) and Pat is voiced by Danielle Judovits (Tenten from Naruto, who knew?). I guess my previous guesses were wrong after all.

What the hell. I knew it. Luna sounds familiar cause she did Tia's voice from Zatch Bell XD. Wow. A lot of these cast members did Zatch Bell....and some even from MoHS O_O

They're not bringing in any of the characters from EXE, since EXE happened 200 years ago as far as the plot is concerened.
EXE=200x
RnR=220x.
Therefore, all the characters would be dead.

I missed the show on CN, so I have to wait a few more weeks to hear Pat and Gemini. Oh well.

The fifth episode was pretty well done I thought. Although Taurus Fire's voice still bugged me, Lyra's and Sonia's made up for that in spades. My fears earlier about the song and the singing have been proven groundless. Yay.

It amuses me that jetstream calls the episode Taurus Trouble and Lyra's Lullaby when the actual episode listed as Two New Visitors. Lol at toonami.

Also, Machine Gun String to Quick String? The dub can reference a Gatling gun but not a machine gun? What's up with that?

A good, solid episode.

I know. It might have something to do with the "flapping", though. Keep in mind that the VAs have to match the words on the script with the mouth movements of the characters. So maybe "Machine Gun String" took up too many "movements". XP
This may also be the reasons why Harp Note was changed to Lyra Note.

Well, unless I'm missing something somewhere, which is fairly likely, I don't think that they've ever referred to it as 'Gatling Gun'. I've always heard it said as 'EM Gatling'; thus softening any connection it might have with it's real world counterpart.

While they did lighten up on 'Cannon', I've got a feeling that 'Gun' is still taboo. Hence the Quick Strings name. But hey, give them a few more seasons and maybe we'll get there.

And about that argument about flapping and mouth movements... that doesn't really hold water. If you can't make the words fit the character's mouth, then you swap them around until they do. Like when they added that cheesy 'I'm on fire!' line to Taurus Fire's conversion rather than stick his name in there, or stretched 'Sword' into a two-syllable word in ep. 3. But no matter which way you roll, you're still dealing with mouth movements that are designed for the attack name.

'Try-my-Quick-Strings!'

'Ma-chine-Gun-Strings!'

Same number of syllables. Same number of mouth movements.

Yeah I do believe the name change was both the fault of the dubbers and of capcom. In the game she is Lyra, but the fusion is Harp Note, kinda odd compared to all the others. So the dubbers went and decided to be smart, and make it consistant, Include the FM-ian name in the EM wave human name. Hence why the dub has Lyra Note

And as for the voice acting thing, its not a first for over here, with females voicing boys, anyone ever watch Digimon, or how about the second season. Izzy, TK, and Cody were all voiced by ..... GIRLS. of course for the second season TK got a guy but yeah, it's not that big of a deal really. Oh yeah, and if that doesn't convince people that it's not something new in dubs, how about Dragon Ball Z, anyone ever heard of a character named Trunks, IIRC he was voiced by a girl.

So they have a character in star force who is a guy and voiced by a girl, its no big new thing in dubs, sure it's less common in dubs, then in the japanese versions, but still not new, and not surprising. Now if there was a live action series and you had a girl doing the part of a guy, that would be different, but again, in Pat's case, wouldn't be surprising.

I can't wait for the next episode, its an addictively good dub.

(@ Webbuilder) Well, there goes that theory...

I also know that it's not unusual for girls to play little boys in dubs, I'm just saying that in never happened in MegaMan NT Warrior. All of the boys were dubbed by men, thus making the character sound older than they actually were.
So I find it a bit interesting that Pat is being dubbed by a girl, whereas all the other boys are dubbed by grown men.
