I think it was Boris.
I think, though. Don't take my word for it. I'm not totally sure myself. But that's what I've heard. _________________

First I heard it mentioned was Beast Plus ep1.
Molosoff or something that sounds like it.
EDIT:
The name was mentioned at least three times in Stream 26, so...
I guess what we'll be needing is an official spelling _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

I'm pretty sure it's "Mortisov." I got it from the dub, but I'm fairly certain it's accurate because there were very few name changes when Axess got dubbed. _________________

From Netto's pronouncation in Stream 26 (easier to understand than Laika's to me), I believe it's 'Morosov.' Also, that spelling appears easily in a Yahoo search, so it's a real Russian name. Could be spelled with a 'z' instead of an 's,' too. I believe that's probably it, but I can't tell you 100% for sure. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

I agree, name "Moroso(vu)" (you can hear it pretty clearly in stream26 at 22:08 ) is quite plausible. Yes, Morozov is a common russian last name and it has some historical military backgrounds as well. But for dog's name, "Moroz" is more correct form.
Jfyi, in russian "Moroz" means frost, and "Laika" - breed of hunting dogs (and often used as the dog's name by itself). Check Wikipedia for more info. _________________

Fun Fact: Laika is the name of the dog sent into space by the Russians in 1957. She (yes, she) was the first living creature to be launched into Earth's orbit. _________________ "There is no coincidence, only Hitsuzen" Yuko, xxxHolic

In Axess #40, both in the Japanese and English dub, it's Morosov ( モロソッフ ). It's a Russian name, although I'm not sure if it has any particular meaning or connontation. _________________

Well, I google'd and Wiki'd for Morosov and Morozov and it appears it's quite a usual Russian surname. I am not sure what else to make of it though... *shrugs* _________________
