Heh, too bad. The VA of Libra sounds almost like Myotistmon from Digimon. Plus, the way they are speaking now makes the episode seem bland. I think they need to pay attention to the atmosphere of the show in the original.

Danielle Judovits did a slightly-better-than-decent job as Pat. She really made him sound like a ten year old boy, so good for her. The problem is she lacks the suave of Tsukasa's seiyuu. Oh, well, can't win 'em all.

Oh, and did anyone notice how Viz kept the Japanese text on the sign and banner? xD

I dunno, even with a female VA, Pat sounds more around 13/14-ish than 10. I still like it though. Laughing

And, eh, I like Mr. Shepar's VA too. At least it's not horribly stereotypical. ( Y'know, 'gansta' or whatever it is. :/ )

I just skip it. You can generally get to the title screen by dragging the time bar to 1:47 or so.

Episode 8 is now up: Laughter in EM Wave Space, which is a very accurate translation. In fact the translation over all is very accurate.

Let me think... The TV anchor goes dee dee da da instead of singing any lyrics when he starts fanboying over Sonia, but I think the tune is set to the original song.

Pat getting run over is intact, although the scene wasn't really graphic to begin with.

The bridge in the beginning is called the Golden Bay Bridge. Hardy har har.

Gemini Spark White sounds exactly like Pat, only more menacing, which is accurate, Gemini Spark Black seems familiar... He sounds reminiscent of Dan Green's Yami, but... better. Gemini has the same voice, but with the echo effect in place, but unlike to original, he sounds more... smooth and manipulating.

A very well dubbed episode I thought.

What an episode.. I'm speechless at how they managed to keep most of the original plot intact. I hope they do jobs like this more often.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this episode. Pat seemed just a little bit...off, to me. Nothing too bad, just a little...off. Spark Black was just flawless (even that whole "double trouble" thing was well-executed).

On a side note, did anyone notice that "Fox-Fu" was changed to "Ghost-Fu," yet they kept "Fire Bazooka" and "Plasma Gun" the same?

I'll have to rewatch, but I thought that Fokx-Fu was just pronounced weirdly. Though I'm still annoyed that Machine Gun Strings isn't allowed, yet bazooka was. Plasma Gun doesn't seem really edgy to me though.

Episode 9: From Double to Bubble
Wow, what a rythnmic title! The first part that involves Gemini, well, has so far stuck on the original plot. Also, anyone notice the unchanged billboard and Geo saying 'Rockbuster'? Plus, we get to hear a new song from Sonia!
Next, the second part which has Cancer, is ROFL!!! His FM's voice is almost like Libra's, just brighter. But, I'm more amazed that Chiyokichi's voice still sounds so young and familiar. Most, but not all, of the plot there melded with original so far. I'm kinda amused at what they done.

Lessee... Spark Black sounds much more forceful and fearsome than the original. Sonia sounded kinda airheaded this time around. Hmm...

Cancer's voice was amusing. Not as comedic, and kind of unexpected, but was still good. Cancer Bubble, he stole the show. His voice was pretty much identical to the original, just less grating *thumbs up*.

Heh.I really like pat and gemini spark is deffiently my favorite FM-ian fused human.(I named my character on mmorpg feista after him.his name is DokuyaGemini,but my guild members below me refere to me as GeminiThunder.My characther even remotly looks like pat.lol.)btw,ernchie(excuse spelling)can I please use that sig?I really like it.As said above,I'm a GeminiSpark fanatic. Anyone know what Spark White said after that "How sad: his battle skills are..." line? I couldn't hear what he said after "are." =/
Because Jetstream had to keep rebuffering, I could only watch the first half, so I don't know anything about the 2nd half.
I'll just wait 'till it comes out on YouTube.

Yep, Cancer was Richard Epcar again. Or Bubububbub-bubbub as I kept thinking hearing him. Laughing

I missed the 'bukus' and not having any type of English equivalent. Even Bubbleman got his glubs. Sad

Cancer Bubble's voice was a great match, to me.

Yeah, the two things I remembered that I was going to mention were the missed Misora sign and the Rockbuster quip in the Ep. 17 part. At least I'm liking Sonia's song, because some of the other BG music kinda killed the fighting, to me at least. And Cancer's duet turned out really cute as well!

Whaddya know, they're still continuing with the Express Mail filler next time, so no skipping. Would've liked to see the following episode sets together rather than split up (Wolf, Crown, Ophiuchus), but oh well. Still happy to see things going in order.
