Super Saiyan Mode!! XD Awesome effects you've done with the Powerman picture.

As for the Rockman EXE pic, Netto's hand looks a little big, compared to the battle chip. Still, its kinda awesome how you slipped the Sword Battle Chip image in the pic.

For yonks? That's a new one to me. Laughing

You've gotten very good with the glowy/lightning effects and this pic is no exception. As for saying there are too many...maybe. I think it's the angle of the circular aura around him that might be causing you to think that. Since the light beams appear so much longer in the back, that could be one reason why. If possible, it's something you could try to fool around with some more to see if that changes your opinion. The coloring is very nice once again.

Thanks a lot for the comments Fragman.EXE and Rock Miyabi!! For Netto's hand being a lot bigger than the chip.. I don't know.. Just my mistake I guess Fragman.EXE =P. Yeh, maybe thats why I think there's too much effects in the Powerman pic Rock Miyabi, good thinking.

Got a few Ryuusei no Rockman/Megaman Starforce fanarts to show this time. I'm still following the Ryuusei no Rockman series in Japanese and I'm really enjoying it!! Even though I have no idea what they're talking about most of the time.. The new English version isn't half bad either with the new voices but I was kinda disappointed with their opening version which is exactly the same as the Japanese opening just with different music that sounds rather weird. Oh well, at least I can watch an episode without tearing my ears off like I did with Megaman NT Warrior. Terrible voice acting..

Its Misora and Subaru!! I think this will be a obvious couple to most people and I often wonder what will happen if Misora and Subaru actually found out each other's real identity too.. Well enjoy!!

http://rapidpowerblast.deviantart.com/art/Misora-and-Subaru-62599637

Today I practically had no homework given to me at school from all my classes, so I decided to do some drawing. I also tried adding a highlight on the armoured parts of Rockman which I think, makes it a bit cooler, neh? I think maybe I should have redone the boots though but I've worked on this for like 5 hours and I need to go to bed soon. Hope you like it!!

I've said it before in the com site, but here goes with further details...

The first picture of the latest updates looks cute, but, in a manner of speaking, the faces are bothersome and aren't my favourite parts... Especially the eyes. How long did you make the sketch of it? Was it a one-shot try? Consciences inside my head is suspecting something... Anyway, I know you worked hard on it, so I'll give you credits for the digital edition.

The visual effects in the second picture are absolutely well made and that was breath-taking! Almost every Rockman arts that you make are entitled to be a success! The double background also gives a fine touch!

Hi! I've seen some of your most earliest and recent artworks, and I've got to say, wow... You must've come a long way since you first started. I'm really impressed by your creativity and your graphic effects. As a Megaman fan and artist, it inspires me to strive for the better when people make awesome artworks. You have my regards. Keep up the awesome work! ^^

Thanks for the comments RT-fact and SoulAura777, really appreciate it. For the sketch of Misora and Subaru, RT-fact.. Heck I can't remember how long it took me to sketch it. It was some time ago now.. I usually take a while with my sketches though, maybe like between 1-2 hours? Also now that you mention it, the eyes do look kinda odd to me, strange neh? And yep, I have to agree with you SoulAura777, I have progressed quite a lot since I first began. I guess practice makes perfect, ya know?

Started watching a new anime recently and its called Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. At first I thought it was a bit wack but as the story developed I became more and more addicted. Now I'm following the whole series and I can't get enough of it!! It's a bit rude at times but theres lots of good action and it has an interesting story. Anyways, tried to give Gurren Lagaan some shiny effects to make it look cooler. Enjoy!!

http://rapidpowerblast.deviantart.com/art/Gurren-Lagann-63974965

Also I watched a whole lotta subbed Ryuusei no Rockman episodes today that was just released by DATS (thanks for that by the way) So now I'm all hyped up about Ryuusei no Rockman. Since I drew Rockman earlier I thought I might as well do Harpnote. It probably doesn't look as good as the Rockman one but I still like this one anyway. Tried the highlight effect again on the helmet, boots and Harp, I also tried adding a few graphic effects in the background to make the drawing a bit more interesting. Well, enjoy!!

Wow. I can't say anything except for "awesome" about the Harp Note and Ryuusei-Rockman drawings. Visual effects are nicely done, especially with the Ryuusei Rockman picture. Gives a little feeling that Subaru's just slipped into position for the buster shot.

Hey, Powerman!

I just got through all 9 pages of your thread and I must say it's nothing less than brilliant! I can see your progress through all that time and how much effort and determination did you give in all your pictures... It's amazing how you've progressed. I also looked up at your deviant gallery to see if you have any other pictures there. Anyway, I am mostly impressed and taken aback by your work! Just don't stop! =D

I will stop by at your topic every so often and help you with comments and advices (if I'll have any of course). I am just so desprerate that I haven't found this long time ago already.

Anyway, I mostly like your Navi pictures on which you draw just head or a part of Navis body, I think you make that kind of pictures perfectly. I noticed you already improved in conception of height, because taller beings really look better. I am just so enthusiastic about your Navi pictures, I think you made that BurnerMan and RockMan picture perfect!

And if you'll have enough time, it would be very nice if you would make Iceman. You haven't made any pictures of him and he is just so cute and I know you make cute characters so adorable that my heart just expands... Well, I know youhave a lot of school work, so this really isn't some sort of "you-must-do-it-or-else" request.

I will try my best on commenting your pictures, but I will mostly reply on RockMan related drawings (mainly because I know more about that theme and I like it).

Keep up with excellent work!

Thanks for the comments Fragman.EXE and BusterMan.exe, really appreciate it. Also an extra big thanks for that huge comment BusterMan.exe!! So you like my navi pictures the best neh? Yeh, I think they look pretty cool too, I think I like my drawing of Plantman.exe the most.

Well I was trying to do this cool effect for a background but it didn't come out the way it should of and I kept repeating it over and over again but it came up with the same result. So I gave up and saved it and I then thought that this background would actually suit Iceman. I know I don't do requests but I felt like drawing Iceman myself, so there you go BusterMan.exe.

http://rapidpowerblast.deviantart.com/art/Iceman-exe-65197119

In this drawing I tried doing the line art with a messier look coz I wanted to see what it would look like. Kinda makes Powerman look like he's been hurt too. Then I just quickly added some colouring, shading and couple of special effects. Hope you like it!!

Well, you did it more than excellent! I really like that Powerman picture, it looks like he is moving very fast and you made it so realistic. Also, his fist looks very cool with that glowing effect on it, you made it look like he's charging it. You're really good!

About that Iceman picture: You did it just as well as I thought and Iceman looks so cute! Background suits him well, that blue waves look very cool. Just perfect background for him! Anyway, the only thing you could modify are those ice spikes. They indeed look good with that transparency effect, but still they look like they're 2D or something. Maybe it would be better if you would shade them a little, because that would give them more realistic components.

But besides that, it's very good! Thanks for that drawing of Iceman, I won't make more requests for you, hehe. Especially I like it when you draw new Navis you haven't done before (like this Iceman picture now) because you're training in new prospects and that makes you even better as you learn new things. It's all in experience.

And yea, I liked that Plantman picture a lot too! You really make this kind of pictures special, I don't really know what is it that makes them that way, but still. You know what to do. =)

So keep up, we're supporting you!

Thanks again for the long comment BusterMan.exe, really appreciate it, seriously. I love getting feedback whether its a compliment or a critic.

Spent about 5 hours making this. Still trying out the highlight effect but I figured out a much, MUCH simpler way to do it recently!! I just wished I knew about it sooner, thank you ever so much pen tool. I also smudged the outline of the sword because it looked too plain compared to all the cell shading on Blues. I think I could have done Blues' other arm a bit better but its too late now, oh well. Enjoy and chillax.

Pretty spiffy Blues picture. I especially like the lighting effects you've done on his visor and hair, pretty realistic. The Sword is somewhat fuzzy, but I suppose that's due the glow effect coming from it, right?

And the squiggle on the background is cool. Looks like he carved it there with his sword. XD

That sword is not fuzzy, it's actually very cool! That glow looks so cool on it, it makes all swords you did until now look funny. Actually that sword thing you did is perfect!

Then... I really like the background. Those squares go nice with the red line too. Also that red line really fits with the sword. Very good.

I liked his hair too, you made some sort of... flash in his hair, it looks like they are metallic silver and it fits him really good! But maybe you could just try to expand this flash on the lower parts of his hair, because if you make only one part of the hair flash, it looks some sort of unrealistic.

About his arms: his sword arm is so cool, you make it look so muscular! Just like Blues is, heh. Anyway, you could do his other arm the same way, but still, you did it thick enough, so there is nothing you should worry about.

Excellent, Powerman.exe!

Thanks again for the feedback Fragman.EXE and BusterMan.exe. I purposely made the sword fuzzy Fragman.EXE because I thought it looked too plain compared to all the cell shading I did on Blues and I actually didn't put a glow on it either, just used the smudge tool. Also next time I make hair shine, I'll try to keep in mind your suggestion BusterMan.exe.. which I will hopefully remember =P

Well when I nearly finished sketching this, I wanted to get some reference on Rockman's boots and I looked at a few official artworks and I saw this picture that looked quite similar to my sketch (minus the pose of the hand and buster) so if you are wondering.. No I didn't trace over it and I didn't intentionally mean to make look similar.

http://rapidpowerblast.deviantart.com/art/Rockman-66377107

I actually made a different background before this one. The background was in a street in the Internet City with a few buildings. I didn't like it very much however, which was very disappointing because I spent AGES on it!! And I put so much effort into it.. *sigh* Tell me what you think, I would like to hear your thoughts please.

Well, I was waiting patiently for your new work, Powerman.exe =)

So, about that Rockman picture: you made him look really good and I think you made him look like he's really serious or something. Cool! Well, his legs are too thin I think, but otherwise it's really good picture. You did the boots ok; When I was doing one of Rockman pictures lately, I had to draw his boots and I did them like you did. You did his fist very good, you pointed out the fingers, which I think is the most important.
I just have to point out one more thing: I think he usually has his buster on his right hand, not left. Correct me, if I am wrong, but i think it's like that.
Otherwise it's pretty cool, I really like the background on the first picture.

About the second one, I saw you just put Rockman in the Internet area background. Maybe that's why it looks like he... doesn't fit there exactly. His legs are not really touching the floor and maybe he's too big there, if you watch those skyscrapers.
Well, but I presume you just wanted to try out the background, so I will comment this too.
- Try to do the floor like panels. That's how floor on internet areas usually look.
- Those skyscrapers.. in anime's, they were not too exact, but they looked so straight and windows were everywhere. You made them with those windows in the middle, I think you did it cool. Maybe they could be higher, but that's not really a problem.

perfect work, keep up. =)

Thanks once again for the comment BusterMan.exe. Well if you look at some of the official artworks, Rockman has his buster on his left or right arm and his legs do look a bit thin now that I look at it. I didn't really complete the internet city background because I gave up on it which is why some of the details aren't exact to the real landscape. But even though it wasn't finished yet, I really, really disliked it, so I just went with a simpler background.

Anyways, just wanted to try out Corel Painter because I havn't used it for awhile. Also I don't really know how to use it but the other day I figured out what the blender tool can actually do!! So I did a simple drawing of Slur.exe so I could try this out. I'm not sure if its good or not but I like it, hope you do too!!

Now that's really awesome, Powerman.exe! You made her look so.. I don't really know how to say it. The blur option here is well seen and it really makes it kinda special. Also, it's really nice you made her from the side, as people were already wondering how does she look like it. Even though you said it's just a try, it still looks good!

Looks like Corel Painter is quite a nice tool for doing such stuff. You should keep up trying new things and it doesn't have to be perfect or something, because tryouts are always in a way different. But if you try new things out, you get experience and that's good.

So you are using Adobe Photoshop CS and Corel Painter? I have never been that good with computer editing, I just correct the biggest mistakes on my pictures with Photoshop, so my pictures are more or less raw. You know that I added you on MSN, PowerMan.exe? I am really in for a good talk with you.

Your work is perfect!

Wow I haven't been here in a long time...I went back until page 4 to see what new drawings you had ^^. I remember your character powerman exe so I wanted to see what you have new ^^. You have improved alot on your drawing since them, specially the coloring ^^. I like how you are shading now, it looks alot better than before, specially in that recent protoman pic =]. I also liked the newest pic of Rock & Roll, it is so very cute ^_^. Awesome job PM, wish I could draw/color like that =]. I look foward to more of your stuff. Keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot for the comments BusterMan.exe, LystikinenaXP and Lucifer Angel. I agree BusterMan.exe, trying out new things are great experiences even though sometimes they might not end with the best results. Well, I actually use Adobe Illustrator CS as well for my lineart but I really wished I had a tablet cause doing the lineart, colouring and shading with a mouse is a bit more complicated. I might save up for a tablet though, it'll make things more convenient. I also did accept you on MSN, wouldn't mind a good chat sometime even though you live on like the opposite side of the globe =P And hey LystikinenaXP!! Havn't seen you around in awhile, was kinda wondering where you went before. And yes I have improved a lot especially from page 4, I guess my new colouring style makes it worthwhile, neh?

Well, I thought I needed to change my ID on my DA cause 'I felt like it'. I really like the effect I used in the background, looks a bit like a different style of a powerblast.

http://rapidpowerblast.deviantart.com/art/ID-67053757

One day in my holidays I was really bored but some people have been encouraging me to watch the anime called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I kinda hesitated at first but I was really bored.. So I decided to watch it since it only had 14 episodes, which is quite short. I actually liked it. It was a nice change from what I usually watch, there wasn't that much action in it but I liked the characters a lot. I also really liked the colour of the eyes that all the characters had too, very cool. I was kinda confused too because most of the episodes weren't aired in chronological order but after actually watching it correctly, I understood the story better. So afterwards I decided to draw Haruhi Suzumiya but I think I made her head a bit big, oh well.

http://rapidpowerblast.deviantart.com/art/Haruhi-Suzumiya-67054076

Still trying out Corel Painter, its really fun to use but I find that Photoshop tools are a bit easier to handle. I spent about.. 4 hours? Something like that but yeh, 4 hours to make this. Gaaarh!! Need.. to.. stretch!! Anyways, can't really think of much to say, so enjoy this Colonel drawing!!
