Note to self: Stay away from MQ's. We get the full opening this time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Somewhere in the ocean, Gemini Spark stands on an iceburg. The two explain everything we've already deduced: filling up the fake Andromeda Key fills up the real one, and it looks like the time has almost come. The two chuckle to themselves.

Title Screen: Confession

Flashback time! Remember way, way back to October 2006? When Daigo put on his Visualizer? That's where we are now, and if you recall, a shadow was speeding towards him. There is a great, intricite CGI explosion... and Warrock wakes up in Subaru's room, muttering that it was a dream.

Akane is cleaning up the morning's breakfast when the photo of Daigo and Subaru catches her eye. She picks it up, and holds it close.

On the streets, Luna and co. trail behind Subaru, reflecting on how he's changed, I'd assume. Subaru stops, looks at something, then takes off in another direction. Hmm... Luna gets fired up and the group runs after him.

Gonta catches up with him outside AMAKEN and tackles him. Subaru's annoyed of course, they've found the space station! Collective 'huh?'.

Inside, Amachi gives a brief overview of the events. The station was testing the Brotherband, and tells what it is. For those who haven't played the game, Brotherband is pretty much a covenant of sorts. Those who exchanged Brotherbands would become Brothers, someone that can be trusted with your deepest secrets. Basically, a Brother is someone who is very close to you, outside of your relatives. The station was testing the Brotherband, in an attempt to make contact with any extraterrestrial life.

Amachi continues (where are they gettingg the video feed from?). The station broadcast the signal without any problems, then the FMs...

Warrock speaks up, he has something to say. Suabru says that he knew it all along: Warrock did have something to do with the incident. Luna and co. have no idea what he's talking to. Gonat tries to feel around for Warrock, but can't see or feel anything of course.

Amachi and Subaru are in another hallway now, and Warrock is ready to spill the beans. Luna and co. try to spy, but are hastily ushered out by Utagai.

The FM King Cepheus had ordered the ten FM warriors to the station. They cause panic among the workers as the fly about and damage the equipment. Warrock spots Daigo doing something at a control panel, and uses his dash on the human. If I'm hearing this right, he (Warrock) tried to Denpa Henkan with Daigo, but of course it didn't work. The two find themselves in the blank, Fossa Ambience-like space that we've seen Subaru, Utagai, and Tsukasa in.

Daigo anounces his intention to Brotherband, and states his name. Warrock responds in kind. They return to reality to see the control room in flames. I find it hard to believe they don't have a hull breach, what with all those chunks of the ceiling lying around. Daigo runs over to one of his fallen comrades, but Cygnus makes a bunch of live wires snap. Warrock shuts the juice off so that they don't get electrocuted. The two spar and Warrock knocks him into another room.

Daigo isn't doing too well with all that smoke, and Warrock assures him that it's the end. There's only one thing he can do to survive now, become radio waves. Cygnus re-enters, but it's too late, he's enveloped in a green burst of light and the space station goes out in that CGI explosion. All that's left is Daigo's Visualizer, drifting in space.

The tale ends here. Suabru is relieved that his dad is still alive, but Warrock is still doubtful as to Daigo's chances of getting back to Earth. Amachi gets a call on his Transer. The FMs have started their final attack, with Cancer Bubble laughing all the while. Geez, they must be really be if they hadn't figured out that the Key they have is fake after that scene in the beginning.

Anyway, Subaru has a job to do.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was quite a text heavy episode, so I drew upon my game knowledge for the bulk of it. So, if anyone has corrections, correct away. I welcome it.

What struck me is that the meeting between Daigo and Warrock was far too abrupt. Maybe there was more to the conversation than was shown, and we'll see the rest later. Next, I was hoping that the others would finally find our that Suabru is Rockman, but no. Darn it Utagai! That brought you down a notch on the character scale. Their are still at least four more episodes, so it'll be lame if Luan and co. go into Tribe without knowing Subaru's secret.

Artwise, an average job by Nomoto. He did a good job on the fisheye perspective, and while he still hasn't realized that children do not have lumpy burlap sacks for heads, he draws Daigo far better than the official illustrators at Capcom do.

Let's see how 51, 'Brotherband' turns out.

From reading your summary, I was actually quite fearful that they would find out right then and there.

Subaru's secret is still safe, although the next episode title seems to imply that that may not be the case. Darn it. I like having Rock as Sube's unknown alter ego... If they do find out about Subaru's secret ID, it'd feel horribly rushed at this point.

Anyways... I can sum up this episode in one word without actually having seen it yet.

PLOT!

It's been so long since we last saw plot... I've got to download this episode... questions that were raised WAAAAAY back in episode 1 are finally answered! \o/ A happy viewer an I.

Spazz is over now. I'm O.K., really. <_<

Where exactly DID you find this episode? I didn't see a download link anywhere in the Downloads topic, and I couldn't find it on YouTube anywhere.

C'mon, help a fellow fan out. I do NOT feel like waiting ANOTHER week and a half for this episode.

I actually saw the episode on youtube! It is just linked to another author who forgot to link his video with index words.

To relate, I think that this episode had a very good impact towards people. Not only do we understand what just happened to Daigo, but we also find out that Luna is close to finding out who Rockman REALLY is.

Hmm, this episode is definately interesting. Yay for an actual plot!! ^_^ Gah, I wish I understood Japanese better, this eppy is definately content oriented.

It was quite a serious episode, but still managed to have some humour in it. Gonta groping the air for WarRock was amusing and I liked how Utagai ushered Luna and Co. away. Something along the lines of "Hey everyone, come to my lab and look at my inventions!" ^^;

Nomoto seems to be getting better, although I personally didn't like the fisheye perspective on Daigo and WarRock... I'm not denying that Nomoto didn't do a good job, it's just it does nothing for me in general.

The way the space station blew up reminded me forcibly of the Death Star's explosion in Star Wars... ^^;

And another cliffy, another week to wait... *sigh* ^_^

Way to be subtle with your conversations with War Rock, Subaru...Rolling Eyes
I'm happy the crew hasn't figured it out yet, but I'd assume with the way things went, that they will by the finale. Probably just how the directors wanted to get the ball rolling on that end.

Very happy to see more of what went on with Daigo, and in some respects it was nice to see War Rock battle Cygnus. If only to get the FM who couldn't have airtime recently return to the screen.

I think Nomoto did a pretty good job on quite a few scenes. Got back into heavy panning over action at the end, but let's hope it doesn't lean that way next week.

Episode 50 Screencaps (186 Total Caps, ~ 8MB) Link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6UOAO4YL

*10/2 EDIT* PANS! To note, I really had to rework some of the glowy bodies on War Rock and Cyggy, since the separate caps didn't match color-wise. If it's hugely noticeable, my bad. And Cancer's was hardly worth doing, but I did since there were so few workable ones. */EDIT*

Personally, I found Luna+Gonta+Kizamaro to be rather dense. Someone talking to an invisible entity (electromagnetic anyone) called War-ROCK (LOL?). I understand that they're anime characters, but how much dumber can you get? Not to mention Subaru's lack of subtlety, he must really believe in their stupidity.

With that said, Gonta groping around for War-Rock was pretty funny. I laughed at his arm being in War-Rock's stomach, and I wonder what would happen if the Andromeda key was still in there.
