|
|
It might be just me, but in my opinion, the fight scenes kinda lost it after episode 30 or so due to the Star Forces. Before that, they could go either way, and had this feeling of suspense. After the SF's however...Rockman can take on six of the FM-ians and win unscratched. The thoughts running through my mind changed from "is Rockman going to win?" to "when is he going to bust out the Star Forces and open up a can of whoop ass?" It's sad really, how overpowered the SF's are.
I don't know, it might be just me... |

At least Subaru does what he can before resorting to a Star Break. Just be glad he doesn't pull it out in every fight scene.
Besides, powerful as it may be, Star Force isn't almighty. I liken it to bankai in Bleach. Even Ichigo's Tensa Zangetsu can't quite hold its own against such enemies as the Arrancar, not unlike how Subaru's Ice Pegasus didn't quite suffice in Episode 43. _________________ *placeholder* |

Wasn't 43 a bit of a joke episode? (albeit one that wasn't funny) Also, the reason the Star Force didn't work was because Subaru couldn't use Magician's Freeze without blowing up Amaken. And it was probably to add suspense till the point when Cancer plucked the knob out. |

On the bright side, at least Star Force isn't being used as a deus ex machina against the final boss. _________________

I guess so =/ I'm pretty sure it's just me anyway, I've got this thing against overpowered stuff. I just saw the elemental cyclone blow away 3 FM-ians at once, and thought "what is this?" |

Maybe Subaru only uses Star Force when it's absolutely necessary because it drain a lot of power. _________________

Or maybe we're just forgetting about one key point.
This is anime. Not everything has to make sense. _________________

In the game, you have to counter with a card in order to get a star force big bang. And even then, they each only do 300 damage and cause flinching (With the exception of Magician's Freeze which freezes the affected enemies...). The way you're all talking about it (Since I kinda stopped watching after he first used the star forces), it sounds like he can just pull it out of his ass at any time he wants. And I guess he doesn't use the charge shots?
Also, the first time he used it, maybe it was just cause he was using all three, but he switches between each star force after using one SFBB. Maybe he can only use SFBB in one form once a day or something... _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Yeah, we're not talking about the game. The fact that you have something like a 1/35 chance of even getting to use a Star Break is UNDERpowered. Not to mention the fact that they aren't even all that strong. And in the Anime, Subaru can bust a Star Break out of his ass anytime he wants, and trust me he does it quite a lot. It's instant GG for whoever he's fighting, so 1 Star Break is all he needs. |

I know that we're talking about the anime and not the game. I'm saying, maybe the limit is like once a transformation per day. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

It's never implicitly stated, so I would assume there is no limit. Not like he'll ever need to bust out more than one anyway |

Has he ever been knocked out of SF from an enemy of opposing element? (Ice Pegasus by Elec, etc) _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.
