*plays royal trumpet*Today's update is Peach's FS(Final Smash). It's dubbed 'Peach Blossom' and it really does take inspiration from "Super Princess Peach".Here's how it works:

Peach grabs the Smash Orb(I REFUSE to call it the Smash Ball),then the FS takes place.A special frame will encircle the screen while the lovely princess dances. If you're in her way, this dance will cause your character to fall asleep. When the FS is over, there will be peaches all over the stage. These will restore some health when eaten.

However, the closer you are to Peach during her FS,the longer your character will sleep.

That's the last update for this week. Here's the week in review:

Monday-New stage revealed!New Pork City from Mother 3.
Tuesday-Home Run Derby makes its return to Smash Bros with some new additions.
Wednesday-Wii Remote Control 101 for Brawlers
Thursday-Lil' Mac and Meowth confirmed.Lil' Mac as an AS,Meowth for the Poke Ball.
Friday-Peach's Final Smash

Why don't you call it a Smash Ball? That's the thing's name.

Ignoring the arguement above, I think this might help to the player's advantage. Think about it, the best you could do is sucker-punch all of your opponents OR you can recover while still throwing in at least one KO. But, I think it's more suited for close range. After all, the closer an opponent gets to Peach, the longer he/she is asleep for.

And why is it that every time there's an update you have to make a five page post explaining it?

Peach's Final looks pretty ballin', I'm super excited for this game at this point, although I was hoping Little Mac would be playable.

I'm offended. Why'd you just go there!? I'm proud to at least state my opinion here! Can I not say anything about this game!?

I myself also wonder that. Anyone who cares about this game would go straight to the website, and I'm sure everyone who posts in this topic goes there daily, excluding weekends.

I'm inclined to agree.

When I first saw it, I thought we could draw the stage ourselves...I wish that was the case...

Loving the randomness, wishing for more random (IE drawing the stage ourselves). The Mii channel music's a nice touch. Now, if only we can get Pixelchat stickman for Brawl. :O

And I thought stickmen when out of style when everyone started hating Mr. Game and Watch? Wink

You know if people could draw it with the DSes then there'd probably be some of the same things that people draw on Pictochat. But this could be really fun to watch/play.

I am oddly amused by the PictoChat stage, but when it says 'Peach has joined so and so',does it mean she has entered the battle?

Still,a great stage to play on.

And...another update we knew from the demo...

At least he's being consistent...getting them out of the way like this.

I think it's good that the new media is being loaded onto the website, this way,the hidden gems can be put up later.

DK's movie makes this the 4th(?) movie that shows how they came into the game.

Hopefully they reveal more FS and characters.

*Predicts that Sai will proclaim this as more proof of Brawl copying Halo 3* Laughing
Which isn't to say it's a bad thing, of course. What I'm wondering is whether the game automatically records your games and you can later decide which 3 minutes to keep, or whether you have to pause the game at some point during the match and hit a "Record the last 3 minutes" option or something.

Also...kinda hoping Sakurai means there will be 5 different stages per character and not 5 stages period. While I'm sure I'll still have a blast with Break the Targets, I like how each character had a personalized stage, with different targets and obstacles requiring clever use of your character's skills to complete, (Jigglypuff's stage comes to mind) giving the minigame a puzzler aspect as well as a speed run aspect.

Of course he meant 5 per character. Every SmashBros had each character with its customized Break the Target challenge. 'bout time he thought that each character needed MORE than just one stage! Smile

I hope they bring back "board the platforms". Man I loved that stage. Sad
