hey all, here's mine:
i made the wallpaper. if you want it, you can grab it at my DeviantArt. oh yeah, the PW Software and Fresh Beats icons are mine too (no takies, or i sue, heehee!). the foobar config is from DAWX or something like that ... look on the hydrogen audio forums to find it (or PM me). lessee ... um, the visual style im using is called "Simple Plan" and the program i use to roll up my windows like that is called WinRoll. *awesome* RocketDock too.

Not very much Linux lovin' going on in this thread, so I thought I might contribute.
Ubuntu 7.10 is a joy to use once you work out all the kinks, and if not for Microsoft's hegemony in the PC gaming market, I wouldn't be using Windows (not that I have anything against Microsoft - I just don't find Windows as good as Ubuntu or Mac OS X).
So, without further ado, a few screenshots:
Bare desktop.
Firefox, Writer, and Brasero open.
Rhythmbox and Pidgin open.
(And here's my Windows XP desktop thrown in for good measure.)
Edit: I finally figured out how to get Compiz working. Let's just say that Ubuntu is just too good now to relegate to a second desktop. Screw Windows - I'll sacrifice a few games and go with Cedega.
