Ok so browsing nicovideo I managed to find the Tribe op. I have no idea how to put the clip elsewhere though so somebody else will have to try that.

Wow, after the disappointing ending of Starforce I wasn't really interested in Tribe but I must admit that the opening caught my attention. It was well done, catchy music and a lot of movement and action. I especially loved that moment were Bly and Rockman are battling near the end.

Nice to see Cancer again, although it was kinda expected I guess that they would keep him.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to watch the series but I'm really hoping that the animation will be a lot better this time.

Tribe already seems cool. Just saw some screencaps and I got to admit, it came out with a good start. Too bad it isn't on youtube yet.

I really like it though, it's an exciting opening!

Maybe the white-haired guy is a Chaud equivalent? (Er, those of you who already know if he is or isn't, don't answer that XD; )

If you digged NicoDouga about 10-12 hours earlier, you would have found the first episode.

I didn't write a summary about it though since it was so late and I spend all my night figuring out the lyrics.

Crappy Translation (correct me if I'm wrong):

*: It's actually written as "hot bonds" ...but I'm sure it's a typo so I corrected only in translation (as 篤い絆).

About the opening, I love it~!
The song, the animation (and the episode that followed), everything is so nicely done. It's just a shame it still lasts 9 minutes.

Bly looks more like a Forte sort of character than a Chaud sort of character. He looks more deranged (at least in the opening) than competitive.

I thought it was good though, it's dynamic and much better animated than the last opening that featured a lot of pans. Lets hope this is a good sign for the series in general!

Agreed. Solo is this serie's Forte. Black color scheme, purple attacks.... and looks angry at Rockman all the time for a reason or another.

Which officially makes this series WITHOUT a Blues-like character. Unless Harp Note covers both Roll-like and Blues-like.

Nah, if Ryuusei is the X of the EXE series, that'd make Harp Note more like Alias. ;p

As for the translation, some parts were too literal.
My translation for the first part:

A new wave has begun to move
to test the power and courage that shoved off disorder.
The place of memories high in the sky
now quietly, surely, come back to life

got the echoing parts right (hard to go wrong with those)

aaand the last line:
Move forward with the power you've always put your trust in

.....now it reads too poetic Confused

I hate those compound verbs!

EDIT:
Actually, you could go a step further and translate "atsui kizuna" to "burning hot bonds". Cool

The kanji used for atsui is for heat caused by fire, which is different from tha kanji used to describe hot weather.

Oh and the female character is Dr.Orihime. She's the one trying to ressurect Mu, and is the game's final boss.

On a side note I noticed the Opening's singer is once again Misora. Any guesses what the insert song for Tribe will be? XD

Bly's visor is seriously drawn way too big. It looks like he's got a huge purple butterfly hanging onto his nose. XD

Speaking of Tsukasa, he's nowhere to be seen. Both the ending of the first game and the anime implied that he was one of Subaru's core friends, yet the only reference I've seen of him in the promotions for the second game was that Gemini Spark battlecard. I realize that there isn't much more that the anime can do with him at this point, but I'll still be disappointed if he goes.

As for the opening, I think we have a winner. This should placate all of those people who complained that Heart Wave had little movement. I laughed when Bly had that WTF look on his face in the beginning. Not quite digging Solo's design that much though. Him fighting with Berserker Rockman was well done too. I wish they could've shown more of the villians other than Hyde/Phantom Black and Gori/Yeti Blizzard, but oh well. This is the first time a female has been the main villian since... Legends 2 was it?

Ha ha, Cancer Bubble stole Utagai's coat from the Andromeda Key Arc.

As I've said before... Tsukasa's probably the new Tohru.

But look at Tohru. He was dropped from Beast's intro, yet he arguably had more screen-time in Beast (and Beast+) than anything in Axess thru Stream (unless you count the movie where he got in over EXE screen whore Yaito). And he wasn't even a character from the games!

And on the flip-side, Anetta graced the intro of Stream for all 51 episodes, and she didn't make her first appearance in the series until, what, episode 38? And her appearances in Stream were very brief and meaningless, leading to her eventual fizzling away toward Beast's start.

And not all hope is lost anyway! Someone over at TUS did a "web-rip" of some artwork used for the RnR2 Capcom site, and one of them includes Tsukasa (WITH Hikaru). This obviously means he has SOME KIND of role in RnR2, and the EXE anime was always really good at keeping the older characters around even when the games didn't (like Mahajarama).

I wouldn't give up on everyone's favorite schizo just yet!
