It's on Nico Douga, but it probably won't be on for much longer.
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm1491469
This episode features the return of Misora, Harp, and Cancer, as well as the introduction of Orihime, Empty, and Bly.
The theme song and first few seconds (I think) were cut, so the first thing we see is Akane serving some cake to Misora while Subaru watches Cancer Bubble with some uncertainty. Or perhaps bewilderment. After all, the little thing is wearing an apron (yes) and apparently fixing a light fixture or something.
Seems Akane isn't afraid at all of Cancer Bubble (though, who would be?) and calls him CanBubble-chan (or is it bubba? I can't tell) and Misora says some stuff about him. CanBubble-chan then asks if there's anything else he can do and Akane mentions the Food Dispenser.
"I'm on it, buku!"
With a reminder from WarRock, Subaru tells Misora about the Berserk Sword and how WarRock swallowed it. Insert funny scene here of Harp and Cancer (in his natural form) trying to look down WarRock's throat to see if they can get the blasted thing out. WarRock understandably doesn't like this.
Kenada-san interrupts and demands to know where Misora is since her next concert is about to start. So it looks like Misora's gonna have to bail.
Subaru decides to see Amachi-san about the Sword, but a familiar car pulls up beside him. Yup, it's Goyoda. He takes him to this place and says stuff I can't understand but basically kicks Subaru out of the car after mentioning something about the Legacy of Mu incident, which causes WarRock to spaz. Insert funny scene here with Subaru coughing to cover up WarRock's outburst. Goyoda leaves while telling Subaru to be careful.
Subaru then says something to the effect of "let's get this over with," only to be overshadowed by this monster of a guy (like 7 feet tall). After Subaru recovers from near cardiac arrest, the guy tells Subaru to follow him.
We then see Subaru in an empty auditorium. He probably feels a bit awkward since he's the only one there, but suddenly, a slideshow starts.
A woman then enters, saying those are satellite pictures of Mu. She introduces herself as Orihime, and that she is pleased to meet Subaru...no, wait...Rockman.
That can't be good. She then says she is pleased to meet WarRock as well. This also can't be good. She says she can see him through her contact lenses, which act like a Visualizer for her.
Anyway, she goes on to say that Mu was sealed a long time ago by the FM King Cepheus. Lots of stuff here I don't understand, but Orihime does confirm that Mu is the source of the new Denpa Viruses. Finally, she gets to those creepy guys that attacked the museum. Their names are Yeti Blizzard and Phantom Black, Denpa Seijin after these artifacts called the OOPARTS. Orihime mentions that they're already quite familiar with one: the Berserk Sword.
More stuff I can't understand, but it looks like Orihime is telling Subaru something important the way she gets in his face.
An alarm goes off, and the wall explodes. Orihime is sent flying, but she's thankfully caught by the tall, creepy guy.
It's some dude, dressed all in black with a creepy purple hand. Orihime warns Subaru that this guy's after the Berserk Sword. This definitely can't be good. The dude fires an energy blast from his purple hand, but Subaru manages to Denpa Henkan and avoid it. He rematerializes in the hallway, but the black dude appears there too, with a giant sword that he pulled out his hand. Rockman manages to bring up a barrier against the inevitable attack, but the sword slices it. Rockman barely manages to bring up a sword to block, but this guy knocks him back with ease.
Can Subaru win?
Guess we'll have to wait until next time! _________________

Oh, so Cepheus will actually have relevence in the anime? Sounds good. Still hate how they gave him legs though. Wonder what this means for the game. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

In the game...Cepheus knows of the threat of Mu so it's somewhat implied that he may have sealed it in the game as well. The FM Seijin that return in RnR2 (Ox, Ophiuchus, Gemini, Cancer, and the new one) are apparently sent by him though I'm not totally sure.

And the blue guy sounds close enough to Barrel so I'll safely call him as Empty. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Is it just me or does Goyoda sound different in Tribe? Or did he get a new VA that I wasn't aware of?
Anyways, it was a nice episode all in all. A lot of talking, but still nice. _________________

I went back and looked at the sprites. I guess Cepheus did have legs from the start. Still looks shitastic as hell animated though.
Since I can't hear Youtube on my computer, I just skimmed through the episode. Art looked very nice. Empty reminds me of a priest. Must be his robe...thingy. Orihime appears to have a magical eye power. Shades of Naruto? Oh, and Bly, Vegeta called. He wants his hair back.
What struck me the most was the preview. That was Nomoto?! The brief fight clips looked very well done, obviously leagues beyond any of his/her fight scenes in Ryuusei. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Just watched it. ROFL from Cancer wearing a robe. The episode is somewhat more confusing. Isn't Dr. Orihime supposed to look different? I'm also quite surprised how Goyoda sounds. Plus, this is about the only time I've noticed that Bly sounds like Helios/Aeolus. _________________ As a Deviant, I work alone on my projects.

Orihime mentioned having contact lenses that let her see Denpa Seijin. :O

Yes, you are, erckie-chan. It's deeper, it did sound strange to me at least. Out-of-sync or not, I don't think it's the same seiyuu.
LOL, Cepheus and his lil' elf legs again. But I am happy to know that my initial thoughts about the FMs coming to Earth way back in the past and having some connection to OOPARTS/Mu has some validity after all. If DrkX's post is true.
About Orihime looking different, well, I think we now know she uses hair extensions eventually. Other than that, I don't see a huge difference in her design from that official art/intro art. She is a doctor after all, so seeing her dressed like one in this episode isn't a big deal. Her outfit basically is just missing a huge bow; it wasn't drastically different under the labcoat. Now having the presumed Empty look like that right away, that struck me as more odd. I thought that would have been a transformation of some sort. But it's glaringly obvious he and Orihime are not one in the same now. Dude is huuuuuuge. I wanna call him the golem guardian or something now.
I can't say I watched Pokemon a ton when I was younger, but CanBubba-chan is to Akane what Mr. Mime was to Ash's mom.
I agree that next week's looked like a major improvement for Nomoto. The Burai shots and some of the action in this one weren't too shabby, either. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

I looked Goyouda Heiji's seiyuu up. It's still Shimura Tomoyuki, who did Cloudman.exe in Stream and Beast. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

The thought that strikes me after watching the episode is:
"Why is Cancer doing house work in his Cancer Bubble form rather than his human form?"
It just seems like someone of the four that were around ought to have the sense to realize that it'd easier in human form. |

I don't know if Cancer can assume his Human form anymore. I think it's either his Henkan form or his natural form. _________________

Seeing as he's now a good guy, and the world knows about the FMs thanks to Cygnus's broadcast, and that he's not a teenage superhero, I don't think he really has a reason to hide his identity anymore.
I do hope that he does more this season than cleaning floors though. But on the other hand, I don't want him to be reduced to post-Axess Bubbleman. That is, appearing randomly with some lamebrained filler episode that I don't find funny. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Why wouldn't he? IIRC it was the same technology that lets him take his Henakn form at will that let him take human form as well. One would think it'd be either both or neither.

It's not so much a matter of hiding his identity as it is a matter of practicality. Human hands generally do better than crab claws at fine manipulation.

Well, he's unlikely to be coming up with hairbrained destroy Rockman ideas like Bubbleman did. Considering that his king/god Cepheus called off the destruction of earth and everything. He's more likely to end up like Rush than Bubbleman, or maybe a cross between the two. |

I don't recall Rush impressing me that much either though. He wasn't really that important until Shademan used him to materialize himself. People will probably point to the Neko virus ep, but while it was somewhat amusing, it wasn't my cup of tea. Though Yuuichero shooting a bolt of lightning from his laptop was preety funny. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I feel we've missed alot between seasons. Not only with Subaru's schoolfriends being in on his life and everything but now he's close personal friends with Misora who he'd only just met in person for like an hour or so at the end of season 1. Now he's chaned her and everything.
And is his mom in on everything now too? Seeing as she doesn't care than an FM is cleaning her house (in fact she acts like she met him many times already) |

We did miss out on a lot of character development, you're right. Frankly, I think that the person who grew the most in Ryuusei was none other than Demon Inventor Utagai... everyone else was just kinda ignored...
Anyways, this was an interesting episode for no other reason than to see how things have changed. It was kind of neat to see how close Misora and Subaru have become between seasons and how relaxed they are. Although Misora's actions have lead me to wonder if maybe she's living with Subaru and Akane now (not THAT way, ya dingbats).
Oh, and watching Harp try to pull the Sword of Berzerk out of WarRock was hilarious.
Akane might not be aware of Subaru and Misora's alter-egos, but she is probably aware of WarRock and Harp. Thanks to Cygnus' broadcast (perhaps the greatest plot-device Ryuusei handed us) she knows that FMs exist. So why wouldn't she take a poor abused FM crab under her wing? Especially when he's such a decent handy-man.
That or the following happened:
Cancer: You gotta help me, Subaru! I've no where else to go!
Subaru: I... don't know about this...
Cancer: Please, de-buku! I'll do anything for you, de-buku!
Subaru: Oh... alright.
=Five minutes later=
Subaru: Hey, Mom, look what followed me home.
Cancer: *breaks out the puppy eyes of doom... or as close to it as he can get*
Subaru: Can we keep him? _________________
