Ice Water
Sharp ridges turn too soft,
hard contact never relents,
the element speaks,
voice not heard.
Thus, two elements sing,
their voices having,
not a similarity.
Ice,
a frozen sonata,
through the voice
of a chilly symphony.
Water,
a waverly crash,
through the sound,
of a trillion screams combined.
Drip, drip,
water skips with ice,
making a form of land that is paradise,
to those who are nice.
Ice,
has the hidden sound,
of hollow emptiness;
although they appear to contain frozen happiness.
Oceans,
have waves,
that never stop flowing;
for their movement halting,
will surely be the end.
Twinkle,
the sound of a small,
itty, bitty star;
also holds the twinkle of ice.
Slopes,
The ocean has them,
so does the ice;
but for the ocean,
it seems to be there.
And it does not,
for the ocean does not,
have permanent slopes,
like the ice.
Xylophonic;
the ice plays like an instrument,
when once tapped,
upon its surface.
What holds,
many more instruments,
than the ocean?
Ice is water, and water is ice,
But no matter,
what anyone thinks,
everything is the same. _________________
