~Symphony~

Wrap in chains,

The increased sounds of trains,

And the refrains.

Bind together,

and never let go.

The sound of life,

is all the greater grand 'symphony',

than man can create from 'instruments'.

A bird's chirp, a lightning's crackle, waterfalls tumbling.

From these there are no such thing,

like unfinished symphonies.

They are forever, constantly playing,

in front of a invisible audience.

Never wavering upon disapproval,

nor boasting upon approval.

The harsh wind, the leaves rustling, cricket's chirping.

Natural symphony or not,

each symphony has a beginning,

as it does an end.

For future reference, since you are writing discrete poems, it may be best to amalgamate them all into a single post, as they are all relatively short and thus can read more easily that way. That being said,

This work is quite potent in what it does. I must say that poetry is a rarity here, even in this subforum's heyday--authors including myself preferred to stick to prose--but it is still welcome to read. Although I like the fact that it is short, and thus gets across its point very succinctly, it is lacking a little in the imagery. In general, I believe that poetry tends to paint a rather rich picture of whatever scene or point desired, and this does not do that to a great extent.

Nevertheless, this worked out well.
