Well since faqcorner credited you guys for the kareoke then i think i should post this and say thanks. I can't post a link here so its [edited] thats the fansub site where you can download and stuff.

Also, I highly doubt they actually asked WPP for use of their lyrics and translation. Which would be theft.

They didn't, no.
I have to wonder, if a fansub group even has to use another group's romanization of the opening song, what kind of quality work are they putting out?

Lazy quality IMO. Id at least re-translate the opening and use different type sets. Id be too afraid of accusations of stealing others work to even try that. The only thing I'd do is use the already released WPP stream 1 as a guideline for my subs and release my version of stream 1 last since its already done |

*headdesk* Knightman, now you guys ended up just taking translations from here? Sigh...
Just finished downloading to re-watch. I see you at least edited your original post to specify that REO was credited for the OP/ED and not WPP. But still, taking that without asking was not cool.
To fill in others who don't know, I did some asking around earlier when the first version of this sub was released (there was no OP/ED work then). According to Koroku, faqcorner was someone who failed his translator's test at DATS. So he broke away and started his own fansub group. There was a little drama between him and Koroku, mostly due to the series faq planned to sub (Stream, Tribe, and some others).

The first version had big audio and typesetting issues, but at least it syncs up now. faq said that this was his first time ever encoding and typesetting, so that's another sign of what to expect for quality. I know he was asking at RPM for typesetting, timing and karaoke help. Now at times, I really didn't mind how it read. Enough matches up with WPP's translation, without looking like it was stolen or anything. But the second half really needed help still, IMO. I know there are a lot of technical terms and stuff throughout, but there were a bunch of poorly worded sentences and inconsistency that I picked out.
So all I can say is at least they are trying (although apparently not enough  ), but experience is definitely a factor in what we can expect from them right now.

Though if I'm not mistaken, the REO version of the romanization and translation should be near or identical to the WPP one, since Hydroman and I did it. ^^;

I am very sorry about this getting into a fight and stuff just posted to say thanks, i thought faqcorner had permission for you guys for the OP/ED. But i guess not..
Well whatever happens we will still fansub rockman exe stream reguardless of what you guys think, already have a problem with Dats now but yeah.

We aren't fighting with you, per se, Knightman. Especially if you didn't know. But still, knowing what you do now, you should at least try to see if you can get faq to make things right, is all. Nothing against the intention to sub the series, but you need to make sure the group does things the right way. So then there won't be internet drama.

Yeah, I know it wasn't any huge deal or anything. I just brought it up since I was on late last night when Knightman initially posted and noticed he said WPP was credited then. At the time I was a little surprised, but didn't think much of it, really. Then when I saw all that transpired in the morning, and saw REO was credited in the vid with my own eyes, I just felt like bringing it up. Showing off my keen, built-in power of observation, dangnabit! 
Main site has the full versions and not the TV edit translations, if I'm not mistaken. But I remember Hydro posting something in the forums. Just was too lazy to search to compare if there was any difference. ^^; If he had permission of course, in hindsight, you who did the translating obviously should've been credited, over the site.
