It's on Youtube. As the immortal Brightman.exe would say: CHECK IT OUT!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Title Screen: The Mu Ruins of Himanara

Back in the Chieftain's hut, Subaru is huddled in front of the fire. I guess his Rockman spandex doesn't do much to ward off the cold. The Chieftain starts explaining stuff about Mu. I guess that those altars and stone carvings are evidence of the lost civilization.

Subaru goes outside and transforms into Rockman. He takes to the Wave Roads and zips off. Yeti watches. He looks a bit less silly now.

Back in the city, Misora and another idol, Maya-chan (I'm guessing?), are being interviewed by a television reporter. Afterwards, Misora contacts Subaru. Apparently the Wave Road is unstable and scattered (this happened a lot in the first game). I may be reaching here, but I think Warrock says something about the mountain ahead calling to his Oopart or something. So Subaru phases into the mountain itself.

Inside the cavern is a wireframe cage thingie surrounded by red energy cords. Looks like those cords are mini Wave Roads, says Warrock. So Subaru hops onto on of them.

Outside, Gori's limo pulls up to where Yeti is. ''Denpa Henkan! Gori Monjiou, On Air!'' Yeti Blizzard thunders off, leaps off of a cliff, them vanishes.

Meanwhile, Misora's trying to hide from Kaneda, when Cancer Bubble comes running up. He's got a hologram projector, perfect for fooling anyone into believing that Misora Hibiki is still in Japan. Leaving things to him (is that really a good idea?) she transforms and leaves.

A real beast of a snowstorm has worked itself up as she discovers Gori's snow covered limo. After she leaves at Harp's insistance, the limo starts sliding sideways.

Back in the cavern, Subaru is still following the red Wave Road, but it comes to an end just like the last one. He continues on foot. He gets to a threeway split in the cave, and takes the passageway on the right. Next, Yeti Blizzard reaches the same junction. He takes the one on the left.

Misora has entered the cavern too, and she finds actual ruins, as well as a ruin encrusted altar. It inspires her to song, but Yeti Blizzard wanders in. He is instantly attacked wit hMachine Gun Strings.

So the fight begins. Yeti Blizzard breaks free of the strings and uses Yukidama Fall. After some prancing about, Subaru runs through, preferring to let Misora handle things. That's rude. Yeti Blizzard takes off after him.

They encounter an even bigger altar. Yeti Blizzard completely ignores Subaru and rips the cover off of one of the artifacts. Nothing inside. He gets pissed, Misora doesn't help his mood, he steams, then lobs the cover at them, and misses. He tries ramming Subaru Ox Fire style (same pose) and misses.

He whips up Nadare Daiko, and follows up with Big Stamp, cracking the floor and walls. ''I did it!'' he gloats, but a beams of light shoots out of the pile of rubble, and now we see Harp Note and Thunder Berserk Rockman, unharmed. Subaru wastes no time in drilling his adversary with a Thunder Slash, ending the fight. We next see Gori outside in the snow, clutching his arm. His limo has fallen off the cliff and was run through by a monster icicle. Sucks to be him.

After the storm, Subaru gives his report to Orihime. No Oopart after all. He then asks Misora about her work. Oh everything's fine, Cancer Bubble is taking care of it after all.

ORLY? Then why are both the reporter and Maya sweatdropping at the sight of 'Misora' making squeaking noises and prancing back and forth?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Preview: Rockman drops down out of thin air, startling some tourists in their worlds equivilent of Egypt. Inside the pyramid, Subaru gets freaked out by a mummy, Hyde is revealed to be a fan of the jet ski rabbit virus thing, Ghost looks downright silly, Subaru runs like hell, and Phantom Black moving in for the attack.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My favorite part about this episode was the exploration of the cavern. The music was really appropriate and got me thinking about what was gonna happen next. The battle...well, aside from Harp Note prancing this way and that, not much movement, mostly just stills with speed lines. Plus, Thunder Berserk came out of nowhere, and I felt it was completely unnecessary. Next episode is Nomoto, and it looks like s/he is going to do a good job, according to the preview.

Me looking forward to the art of a Nomoto episode... What is the world coming to?

Yeah...Thunder Berserk just came out of no where. Unlike his first appearance, he was provoked and red eyed...this time was normal eyed and not as impressive. D:

It's starting to look as if the writers just gave up trying to keep a strong story going. But then, this is only the 6th episode. For what it's worth, though, I did like how they gave Harp Note a stronger role in this episode, Rockman using Tribe Out notwithstanding.

Here's to hoping for a brighter tomorrow and a Harp Note with an OOPart. Cheers.

I'd be happy if they just had some pictures of her with those but Tribe Out Harp Note would be cool.

Fairly well done episode. It seems like it's only Bly that outclasses Harp Note, so that's a nice plus.

I'm liking Cancer as Misora's manager thus far. He's certainly been of more use than that other guy was.

Kaneda is still around as the manager. He was in Tribe 2. Cancer Bubble is more of a bodyguard/assistant.

Aaarrgh, it's one of them Phantos from Mario 2, only with a denpa body! Oh wait, guess that makes sense anyways... Laughing

Oh noes, were some of the Deal or No Deal fembots impaled by that huge icicle?!! Shocked

To me, Berserker activation wasn't really that out of nowhere. They were buried, and plenty of times that's when uber-powers get activated; to skip any henshin animations and make the baddy gasp in surprise. Useless in the sense they weren't getting destroyed in battle, yes. And it seems too soon for him to have control of the form, especially considering the last time we saw it. But how it was handled, I think you could see that coming from miles away.

Scuttle some more, crabby Misora!!

*12/17 EDIT* 18 PANS!!!

I don't understand why the next episode is called "Hyde and Ghost"...'Hyde and Phantom' makes more sense. D:

Maybe because his denpa seijin is a ghost? I don't know. Plus, good episode, but I am curious as to what was inside the stone box before Yeti went and tore its lid off?

Nothing. He was expecting an Oopart, and got pissed when there wasn't one. Whatever Misora said probably didn't help either.

I'm no expert when it comes to Japanese characters, but ファントム, if that's right, looks nothing like ゴースト, so I'm assuming the Denpa Seijin's name is Ghost, not Phantom.

I hope that demented shot of Hyde in the preview doesn't last for the whole thing. While Nomoto episodes seem to have greatly improved on the animation front, the art still has some spotty areas.

*picks Tribe up from it's direct faceplant* [Motherly voice] You'll just have to do better in the future! [/Motherly voice]

Gar, that pretty much sums up my entire impression of this episode. We had a nice amount of speed going on there and the writer's decided to chuck it out the window in favor of... people running around in the dark?

I was half expecting Yeti Blizzard to actually go on a rampage, attack the village and demand to know where the Oopart was... rather than just follow Subaru and War-Rock around to it.

Why did they bother to introduce us to Laana and company if they weren't going to play any major part in the plot? We could have skipped that in the episode and this one would have survived intact.

And once again, the transformation is religated to being a cheap battle finisher. That can work when the transformation first appears, but not every single blasted time. While I didn't think that Berzerker came out of nowhere, I didn't think that it was consistant with the last showing. The way it was used was fairly shoddy, with one hit and that being the end of it all. It doesn't look like they learned their lesson from Ryuusei...

It wouldn't surprise me if Empty raced in and snatched the Oopart before Yeti got there; just as a random idea. But I think that's too much to hope for.

Aside from Nico Douga, there's nowhere else I can think of.

I seem to be the only one who thought this was a half-way decent episode. Yeah, the fight looked stale, and yeah there was Thunder Berserker spammage (but we KNEW that was going to happen.), but that aside, there was nothing really WRONG with it. Let's keep in mind that this beginning part is the search for the OOPARTS. I imagine the fights will become increasingly more dramatic as the mystery of Mu and UMAs unravels.
In short, plot-building. :p

I thought it was okay, it's just Thunder Berserker that irked me. I knew it was coming from last week's preview, but the way it was handled was very poorly done. He'll use it again on the 22nd, and I hope it's used better than it was here.

Hm, I think that the first 'half' of the season will involve Subaru running around, searching for the Ooparts for Orihime, meeting the UMAs, and getting the other two Ooparts. Then Orihime will reveal herself, Warrock eats the Ooparts to protect them ,and then the rest of the series will be spent having Orihime gather all the badguys together and try reviving Mu. Can't say much more without giving away spoilers. Oh yeah, throw in an angsty arc involving Bly and the Bly transformations and we'll be all set.

It's a shame that that prediction will probably end up being better than the actual product.

What I'm really curious about is whether the anime is going to offer a scenario where Subaru would use both Tribe King and a Bly transformation. If I recall (and correct me if I'm wrong), the games only let you use a Bly transformation with a single Tribe Out. I'd be very nice if the anime bends that rule in particular.

Toss in a demise for Orihime comparable to Slur's brutal end, lay off the filler episodes, and give Harp Note a chance to really shine and establish herself as a vitally important character, and I'll be well enough pleased.

Cancer's imitations of Misora were pretty damn hilarious.

And uhh...

o_o. UMAs are pretty much the same thing as FMs, they're just under a different alliance, right?

Also, when War rock said "AM" back in Episode 55 of RNR's first season (or 56, whichever was the last one), did he mean he was an AM, and not an FM, like in the game?

I think so.

As for the denpa seijin, they're basically Earth versions of the FMs I guess, but I have no idea if they were manmade or not.
