It's really not that unusual. People around the world eat tripe. If you think about it, if you enjoy sausage, tripe shouldn't seem so nasty. _________________ *placeholder* |

For me, it's crab.
I love crab, but I'm allergic to it. The most I can eat is one claw and even then I have to be careful. _________________

How could I forget that? The liquids in the tomato for some reason is just...so repulsive for me...I mean, I love catsup, tomato sauce, and tomato soups, but the liquid in the tomato is so gross for me.

Haven't fed you those octopus tentacles that're still moving yet?
I'm lucky there isn't a restaurant that serves those within 10kms of my workplace
I used to hate anything with wasabi with a passion, but my tongue's gotten used to it.
My sinuses beg to differ, though
Let's see.....
Tarako Cream as pasta sauce, I can handle.

Aww, snake isn't THAT bad. XD I've had rattlesnake numerous times when visiting Arizona. It's a little chewy, like squid.
Dear pete Izu, I would have throttled whoever fed me something potentially fatal. XD (Self note: Remember to double check food while in Japan.) _________________ "Cats are interesting. I used to hate tomatoes. For anyone that hates tomatoes, I have this to offer:
1. Avoid grocery store tomatoes like the plague. Home-grown works best, but farmer's market tomatoes still on the vine are fine too.
2. Grocery store variety tomatoes are nasty. Even vine-ripened run-of-the-mill tomatoes tend to be gross and watery.
3. Heirloom tomatoes FTW. Meaty varieties tend to be best for just eating fesh. Case-in-point, try vine-ripened Reif Red tomatoes. _________________ *placeholder* |

SeijinKage13 wrote: | Tripe? Isn't that sheep stomach?! Ugh... I pratically lose my lunch just hearing unusual foods like that. Speaking of which, I can understand cucumbers but pickles? Really, it doesn't taste bad. It's just tart. If you want to really know disgusting, my dad and mom eat balut (ba-loot), which is a boiled duck egg with an unhatched ducking inside (yeah, really) and another delectible, besides porckchops, that I can't stomach down. This means there is a partialy developed baby duck inside ready to be eaten after being peeled. This tops porkchop, cucumbers, and tempura completely. |
I've heard of that. sounds pretty gross. But Izumi ate Poisonous fish "fluid"? Ewwwwww...... That and the duck egg are the grossest things I've heard in this topic. Worst then Tripe. (no offense to anyone in case) |

Nope. And apparantly it kills you much quicker than depicted on the Simpsons, by paralyzing your muscles, leaving you fully conscious until you asphyxiate!
I try not to eat anything unless I'm with a person who can explain exactly what it is. >.> I made a slip this time being satisfied with "it's hard to explain in english" for an answer.
NG - Nope, no tentacles yet. I'm not a big fan of octopus anyway, I'll only eat it in takoyaki/okonomiyaki, and even then with reluctance. Tarako cream is OK with me, on pasta at least. ^^; _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

Because of hipersensitivity, i can't eat prawn
I'm some sort of jealous when i see my family eats baked-prawn in front of my face, since they look very delicious
But, i'll goes Urticary if i eat them 2 - 3
Urticary is massive-spreading itch all over your body
And, sometimes, i also can't eat Netto-kun's favorite, it's curry rice
If there is too many spices in it, i won't eat it even i'm in a really hungry condition _________________ Your last word will become the word that will always be remembered by anybody |

Why for all of those except corn please. But does that count for popcorn as well?

Fugu? From what i heard, it's not very good and kind of bland.
"While fugu connoisseurs love the taste and the texture of the fugu, many people actually find it rather bland and tasteless."
Thanks to Wiki for that. |
