I'm in the same boat as Izumi. I have built up a collection throughout the years. I would love to get the giant collection, but it just wouldn't be smart on my end. (Price has dropped significantly on Amazon though) The book I asked for was Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat. _________________ Name shortened from Serenade.exe |

Quite a bit actually. But the main stuff would be...a Wii and Guitar Hero III, an amp for my bass(it might help a bit...), and a DS. _________________ Stop looking at my sig. Stop it. Stop it. STOP IT. WHAT PART OF STOP LOOKING AT MY SIG DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!?!?!?!?! |

I've begging for a new computer for nearly 2 years, and finally I am getting a HP Pavilion m8200n for this Christmas. WooT.
Also, our family is getting a Sony BRAVIA HDTV since our old TV is like 10 years old. _________________

Merry Christmas, everyone!
Since I didn't ask for much for Christmas, I was really surprised by what I received. A beautiful keyboard, and a sewing machine of my very own. @_@ (Now I can continue my cosplay costumes even after I move out!) _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. Merry Christmas everyone! Haha, from church I got a handout of how to say "Merry Christmas" in different languages:
English: "Merry Christmas"
Tagalog: "Maligayang Pasko"
Vietnamese: "Chuc Mung Giang Sinh"
Tamil: "Nathar Puthu Varuda Valuthkkal"
Hindi: "Shub Badadin"
French: "Joyeux Noel"
Polish: "Wesolych Swiat Bozego Narodzenia"
Italian: "Buon Natale"
German: "Froehliche Weihnachten"
Spanish: "Feliz Navidad"
Thai: "Suksan Christmas"
Irish: "Nollaig Shona Dhuit"
Cantonese: "Sing Daan Faai Lok"
Japanese: "Meri Kurisumasu"
Portuguese: "Feliz Natal"
Malayalah: "Christmas Mangalam"
I already knew the English, Japanese, and Spanish ones, but I might as well introduce these to us. _________________ War may not be the right answer, but when you're in one, ending it effectively and with positive results is a must. Vote John McCain for U.S. President.

Compared to some of you young'uns, my gift intake this year was pretty small. ;) (and considerably smaller than what I gave out, but that's how it works sometimes!) Still, I got some nice things.
-Clothes: Two nice sweaters and two shirts, two pairs of jeans, pajamas, and a robe
-Books: Before You Leap, The Little Prince, Definitely Not Martha Stewart, Yotsuba&! manga volumes 1-3, Decendants of Darkness manga volume 2
-DVDs: Family Ties season 1, Step By Step TV Favourites disc
-Various hair accessories
-An electric toothbrush
-A stocking full of cosmetics as well as cake mix, chocolate peanut butter, potato chips and other delicious candy that you can't buy overseas
So, not too bad at all, plus I went out and got myself a few gifts, lol. A couple of nice sweaters, the Black Jack artbook, an English volume of Phoenix and a full set of Mittsume ga Tooru manga in Japanese.
I'd say I was pretty lucky, as I was sent these presents by my mother, brothers, two sets of aunts and uncles and two good friends, none of which had to go to the trouble of doing so, much less mailing them here early enough that it wouldn't be at ridiculous cost to arrive before Christmas. *feels loved* _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

My goodies included my 4GB PSP Memory Card mentioned earlier, FF12: Revenant Wings, Star Force: Pegasus, a bunch of clothing items that really have no need to be listed individually, plenty of candy, a Calvin and Hobbes compilation book, the latest Family Guy DVD box set, a World Series DVD, a Hallmark ornament or two, a couple bobbleheads, a Speed Racer mug and for whatever reason, a big Pillsbury Doughboy bank.
"Santa" also got me Megaman ZXA. (As old as my brother and I are, we still get a little something in our stockings Christmas morning) But I told "Santa" to take it back, because "Santa" got confused and forgot I wanted the first ZX, as I have Rockman ZXA and don't have as much need for the English version as much as I do the first ZX. I'm still waiting for "Santa" to make good on that... _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

This year was somewhat low-key, but that's totally cool. I got like, 70 bucks worth of Barnes & Noble giftcards, a 25 dollar Borders giftcard, $60 visa giftcards (I thought they were credit cards at first, good thing they weren't), $25 straight up cash, three pairs of jeans, a wool hat, a scarf, several undershirts, a short compilation of comics about an obscure superhero, the Escapist, Spiderman 3 DVD, and the best of the Colbert Report DVD. Chocolate and The Phantom Hourglass round things out.
So, good times ahead for my book and manga collection. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'
