Wow, I had no idea Gutsman was an orc. Or knew their language.
As for making fun of internet slang, it's not as funny as it used to be, having been run through the ground to China and such. I'm not sure why Rockman and Netto would know anything about WoW, seeing as they spend all their time surfing the net and not grinding in dungeons with a level 30 Shaman. The same might be said about your audience. Inside jokes that make your focus group laugh might not be as funny to outsiders. :/
You might want to expand your focus group. Also, adding more sound effects and background noise is a good idea. Early YGO Abridged was pretty quiet. Later on he improved it.
I'm glad to hear you have a focus group to help you determine if jokes are funny or not. Hopefully the next episode will be a knee-slapping good time, as opposed to a facepalming good time. : P _________________

I don't hate the jokes and the efforts you've put on making this episode, although it's a mediocre start for you.
Some stuff were funny, especially by referencing both Tron and Warcraft and making a brief representation in the start of the episode.
The downside is that I find things that make my ears bleed (of annoyance disease), like Roll's voice and the jack-in phrases.
I also wish that in the coming episodes you make more use of the soundtracks and focus on adding sounds to every action that comes visually.
It's not a bad result you've made on the first episode, but I look forward to see some improvements. Keep up the good work! |

LMAO, i guess im the only one who thought it was funny? besides Roll sounding weird and there being no background sound, i thought it was good for a first episode. "LightSaber Butterknife"! = Awesome. Gutsman sounds funny too with the "Zug Zug". _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

It's a great day to be a part of the abridging game, ladies and gentlemen! With me being off school for the week thanks to Reading Week, I have successfully managed to complete the second episode of MegaMan NT Warrior: The Abridged Series. Thanks goes out to my cast - XHunter, AGF-Antoine, StephODell, Gunner EXE, and KingForte - for all their hard work. I'm grateful for the fact that we didn't have a deadline this time so we had time to work out any of the faults from the previous episode as we made this one.

It's cause of the layout you're using (the beast out one does that for some reason)
...Now then...onto the episode.
I'm sorry it was just...devoid of humor.
And the gunshot noises lost their charm for me :/ _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

lol...wtf...pwn.... PEOPLE DON'T SPEAK THESE THINGS. IT'S NOT FUNNY.
Seriously, this level of humour...isn't even humour. It's like your trying WAY to hard to be funny. This series makes me MISS the College Years, and makes TCY look like the Chronicles of Narina by comparison.
I suppose if you must continue, you need a drastic rechangein the type of humor. Maybe if you do like Family Guy did with Blue Harvest, and like make fun of the moments in Star Wars that were... like"Why the hell did they do that" _________________

Well the series was originally meant to make fun of internet slang and illiteracy. However, judging from all the comments that I've received, that approach only seemed to work in the first episode.
Your suggestion for the Family Guy style humor approach shall be taken and worked into the production of the next episode's script, Elementalman.
In fact, perhaps I should consider changing the style of humor every episode. _________________

Making fun of 'net slang and illiteracy only works in comics. And very rarely.
Especially considering it's been done to death.
Seriously, if you're going to make fun of something, make fun of the -series-. Not something completely unrelated.
I mean come on, just think about it. Mr. Match messed up a computer program. To set fire to a house.
Why not just use a match like any intelligent person would? _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

And the next line would be "Because it's the future!" Or something to that effect. I think that's the simplest or most common joke for these. |

They're alright, I s'pose.
Though on second glance, the "I had to stop at gamefaqs" line wasn't too bad. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.
