Okay.I know this board topic has been posted already, but I'm curious on what the other fellow REO'ers are watching on TV these days.

However,I'm watching "Scrubs" and "Moonlight" at the moment. Not much to see these days, but it does me some entertainment...

So,what's on Your Tube?

The only 3 things I'm actively watching are Kamen Rider Den-O, Jyuuken Sentai Gekiranger and Transformers Animated.

I recently started with supernatural, but haven't had much time to watch it on regular basis.

X.

Well, I don't watch much TV anyway (lack of cable may have something to do with that), and the writers' strike has paved the way for the spittoon known as 'Reality TV' to empty itself onto the airwaves, so, nothing on network TV. So I've watching my DVDs of Batman: The Animated Series, and The Colbert Report.

Anime-wise, Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe and One Piece, as per usual. Recently worked up the courage to watch my first mecha anime. Chose Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Am on episode 11. What a hilarious series, so over the top, dramatic, and cheesy all at the same time. Plus, I've recognized quite a few of the seiyuus.

You can't really count a TV special, you've either watched it or you haven't. XD

It WAS fantastic, though.

Wackoman - I can't believe someone else has even heard of Kochikame. XD

'Tis Jump's oldest series, and I've read most of everything that Jump published for more than a year or two.

And Kochikame has been running for 70000000 years.

Once you're done with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, I'd recommend Giant Robo, which is my favorite anime tied with FLCL and TTGL.

I might as well post my full listings here:

Animated:
-Various Animes @ my Anime club
-LOSH(Legion of Super Heroes)
-Chaotic
-Teen Titans
-Family Guy
-The Simpsons

Live-Action:
-Moonlight(WOO!)
-Simply Ming w/ Ming Tsai
-Scrubs
-The local news
-Some other things
-Jericho

Technically,I can watch all of the shows here except for one."Moonlight" is most likely gonna be on my mom's 'not to watch' list,so I have to be very careful...What's wrong with it? Crying or Very sad (I have like a list of 20+ shows I can't see!)

Anywho...hopefully the Writer's Strike will be resolved soon.:3

Yeah, with the strike and all, it still doesn't seem like much is worth watching anymore. And I'm a notorious channel surfer, so I can't say I watch all these shows religiously. I won't post things like Heroes that aren't on right now. Most recently, this has been my list of what I flip through:

American Gladiators (Wolf is gonna eat you! Laughing)
Deal or No Deal
Simpsons
Family Guy
American Dad
King of the Hill
Futurama
Scrubs
Monk
Daily Show
Colbert Report
South Park
Reno 911
The Soup
Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood
Letterman/Leno (I always flip depending on the guests or segments)
Conan
Around the Horn
Pardon the Interuption
Sportscenter
Whatever local pro sports team is on the air on any given day
Local News
For some reason Stargate:Atlantis, only this last month
Weather Channel
Everyday Italian
Premier Impacto
Sabado Gigante (OK, the last 4 are sort of jokes, although I have my reasons to flip to them occasionally ;p)

Anime-wise, I haven't been able to keep up with Adult Swim much anymore. I just want new Venture Bros.! Seems like I've only been able to watch Bleach, Death Note and Blood+ every other week. And Ryuusei is the only anime I keep up with on the net.

I suppose it shouldn't hurt.

The anime I am tracking:
Clannad: I came off the other Key works, namely Air and Kanon, and they were amazing--enough to make me shed tears when watching their finales. Clannad seems a little slow, but I'm hoping it will pick up the pace in the latter half of the season.

Minami-ke ~Okawari~: Judging from the original production in the Fall, I am quite eagerly anticipating this season's release. The original season was that little slice-of-life comedy that I was craving, and it delivered well.

Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei: Much like the previous title, I am watching this one based off the strength of its predecessor. A nice nugget of somewhat darker humor.

Hayate no Gotoku!: Lucky Star can only wish it was this. Despite the fact that I enjoyed the aforementioned title, it was very heavily dependent on references to other works in order to get its message across. This one is less dependent, but nevertheless does a good job interspersing its references. Plus, they spit on the fourth wall, as it is shattered nearly every episode on multiple occasions.

As for non-anime stuff, I still keep up with Star Trek and other game shows. I've been picking up the Americanized versions of Sasuke and Kuinoichi respectively. As for dramas, they are really not my tastes, but I'm kinda anticipating the return of Lost to my television set.

P.S. Izu, my younger brother can only wish he was you in your immersion in anime. Razz

I almost forgot Blood+, easily one of the best comedy anime I've seen in ages.

I also started watching Detective Conan, although I don't really have intentions to watch all four thousand episodes. Also am re-watching The Big O, and I'd forgotten how much retro, super robot win was contained in that show.

*has seen all four "thousand" episodes of Conan* >.>

This took seven years. Conan is my ultimate ship, though - it's The Fandom That Just Won't Die.

I watch a handful of anime and cartoons right now:

Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden- I enjoy this series as much as Rockman. The action and comedy inside the episodes are a must for those who have interest in ninjas and *ahem* pervyness. I started collecting props, like Naruto's sleeping cap, afterwards.

Ryuusei no Rockman: Tribe- My current series I can't stop watching. A lot has changed from last season, but I still enjoy it. For some reason, though, I copy lines off the episodes oftenly. Plus, I have developed a obsession of drawing Kizamaro in school. Not sure that's unhealthy. O.O

Ouran Host Club- An anime I'm too embarassed to talk about it in person. In my opinion, it's very good in terms of drama and romance. I enjoy it, despite the high levels of gayness and 'moe'. Hmm, I actually cry sometimes afterwards, quite an idiot I am.

Storm Hawks- Very nicely done 3-D show. I can really enjoy this every morning without problems on TV. NOt much to say other than great uber comedy and action inside. The only downside to it was the much overused tough-guy act and boasting comments. I don't enjoy Finn's attitude at all.

Avatar: The Last Air Bender- Technically anime, but I say it's a cartoon Nickelodeon made pretty nicely. Mostly Chinese related, it's way of capturing fights, both inside and outside, was awesome and the music has a good tune to it. Most of the show uses anime-related things, but that's good 'cause I laugh my butt off at a good episode.

I don't watch sitcoms or things like Lost and Grey's Anatomy. For some reason, I can't understand why people make fuss over it. Oh well, that just proves that I stink at life even more.
