Brawl Central, I trust them. Why? Proof.
Once I read Snake and Sonic are already unlocked I knew it was fake. _________________ Star Fox : Command

Wow.Zelda's FS certainly looks awesome from the scannage here. Totally gonna be picking her up to play as again.
Snake's FS makes me feel like "Metroid Prime" from the looks of it...Hmm...Also,Snake's tush is oddly amusing to look at.*gets bricked*
I am totally loving this week's updates.Bring them on,Sakurai! _________________ Things are going to be changing soon in the next few months.Stay tuned for updates and the like. |

I'd have to say that Olimar's moves are, in a word....weird. (I know, big surprise, right?)
Due to Sakurai's description of the Pikmin, I'm guessing that they will both follow Olimar and attack enemies that get too close, either that or he's describing the damage that they'll deal while they're latched onto someone. Which begs the question: when you've got a squad of Pikmin clinging to your character, how do you get them off?
And kudos to the final shot with multiple Olimars; in Melee, I would arrange all-Ice Climber battles when I wanted to do something goofy. For Brawl, I'm guessing I'm going to be doing all-Olimar battles instead. XD _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

I think it'd sorta be like the Lip's stick item from Melee.
I actually like the sound of his moves, the pikmin sorta act like "Ammo" which is pretty neat IMO. I wonder if other characters can grab them and slap Olimar in the face with them XD
And Pikmin chain is just a cool recovery XD _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

lmao, talk about a literal slap in the face! his own team turned against him. and yes, that Pikmin chain is pretty neat. random thought, but what if someone made a Pikmin necklace (don't ask, haven't slept in a while). _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

Loving the Pikmin recovery and hoping the 'list' has at least a few truths in it. I would love to see the Pokemon rival in Brawl. It just screams 'awesome.'
Zelda's final smash is nice, but I wonder how useful it'll be? I've always been wary of arrows.
Here's hoping we get a new character soon. _________________

Why do you have Pokemon Rival is a spoiler tag?
I don't know about Olimar's attacks...he looks kind of confusing to use...but I'm sure when I actually play as him it will make sense.
And yes, Pikmin Chain is awesome. _________________

I agree. Awesome is the chain. But Pikmin ghost make me sad. I will be having a hard/fun time playing with him though. And 4 Olimars for a fight! Which will win! OK, I'm done. |

Olimar's now-official appearance in Brawl has made me love Pikmin again~ The attacks are definately cool! Pikmin Chain! Something like that should've been in the games. _________________ MegaMan Kilobit

Olimar's moveset goes down as weirdness in a nutshell. However, the Pikmin ghosts are so cute and scary...
Nevertheless,he'll be somewhat interesting to play as. _________________ Things are going to be changing soon in the next few months.Stay tuned for updates and the like. |

Pokemon Trainer does not appear on certain stages like Delfino plaza, so there goes your theories about him wearing a jetpack (or was that the other forum I'm at? o_O)
Also, female Pokemon Trainer has been proven false...umm, just read the link.
Also, Pokemon Trainer is listed on the character select as "P. Trainer".
Again, I got this from ZeroBeat _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

After reading that list Pokemon Trainer seems like he is going to be more powerful than I thought. _________________ Name shortened from Serenade.exe |

The 3-second change time between Pokemon irks me a little. If it's just returning them to the ball and then throwing a new one it could get annoying. It would of been so cool if, in stages like Delfino plaza, the Pokemon trainer used a flying type Pokemon like Farfetch'd to keep airborne. Alas, it is not so.
Ike sounds like he'll be amazing and I can't wait to play him.
As for Pictochat music... I never really liked Pictochat's music. Thank goodness one can change that music around to Wii-shop and Mii channel music instead! _________________

According to some folks who played the demo the Pokemon Trainer gets a few invincible panels when he switches out, so all should be good.
And Shakai are you on Arlong Park? Someone mentioned jetpacks there, though I suggested a PIDGEY because Pidgey's are awesome. _________________

Ok, so the game has been officially delayed till March 9th 2008. This just means I can focus more on my studies and will have more time to pay off my reserve.
--
Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.
I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

i heard rumors that it was gonna be delayed ... aw man. on another note, i might be able to save up (and somehow find) a Wii by then.
EDIT: new stage for Olimar and the Pikmin! it's called "Distant Planet" (for now anyway) and everyone's miniaturized ... or the world's huge. in any case the main hazards seem to be the frequent torrential downpours and weird-looking mega fish! oh noes! hopefully we'll hear more about this stage, seems pretty interesting. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

What kind of completion is their to do when the game was supposed to come out NEXT WEEK?
Why does Japan get a Week Delay and we get a Month? _________________
