Title Screen: The Terror of God

Chief Osa spies Cancer Bubble and confronts him, demanding who he is. Cancer Bubble sputters that he's nobody and that he didn't see anything. There is a burst of light, and Condor Geograph appears before the FM. Cancer Bubble screams.

Back in Nansca, Luna's being a bit arrogant after being blessed by the quetzal, which is still on her head. Some banter, and Warrock warns Subaru of something. The villagers look up, and there is Condor Geograph, circling overhead. They begin to rejoice with the coming of their god. Condor Geograph confirms that yes, He is God. Warrock begs to differ. That's actually a denpa henkan'd human. Well, Condor Geograph decides to show off His godly powers by firing lasers into the village, carving the image of a giant bird.

Our heroes can't let this continue, and transform into their wave forms. Condor Geograph sweeps His laser again (Hakarada Coda?!?), creating some surprisingly realistic fire and smoke effects. Subaru fires off several buster shots, while Misora uses Shock Note, but the bird dodges it. Luna starts fangirling over Rockman as usual, and he tells her to run, which she does. Condor Geograph goes into another God rant, then fires his laser again. Ah, it's Wing Laser. He follows up with Flying Impact to knock Subaru and Misora out of the sky. They try to hit Him with a Plus Cannon and a Plasma Gun, but to no avail. Subaru uses a Barrier to block another Wing Laser, but the attack is still strong enough to knock them to the ground.

Next attack! A hatch opens up on Condor Geograph's underside and he drops bombs. Missile Bird. Subaru and Misora use Long Swords to knock them away, but they can't win just by fending Him off. They get Wing Laser'd again, and Condor Geograph flies up into the sky.

Luna, being the idiot fangirl that she is, runs out to Subaru, only to be snatched up by the bird. How, I don't know, unless He's biting her shirt or something. To make matters worse, Subaru and Misora revert back to normal. Oh, but a roughed up Cancer Bubble magically appears, and he tells them about the old man transfroming in the pyramid.

Luna's trapped inside the altar room with Chief Osa, who I suppose wants to sacrifice her (this whole scene looks kind of wrong). She's screaming her head off, so Osa raises His staff to silence her, but Rockman cries out! (Why are they playing Bly's music?) Anyway, Rockman, Harp Note, and Cancer Bubble are all there, blocking the way out. After a plea for Him to stop all of this, Osa transforms into the bird-like figure and flies through the ceiling. Subaru and Misora leave Luan with Cancer Bubble, to their mutual displeasure.

Outside, the two shift to wave form, and Subaru spots Condor Geograph flying among the Wave Roads. He leaps up to confront Him, and uses Hengen no Jutsu to dodge a Flying Impact, lands on top of the bird, and uses Long Sword to hack off some of His feathers. Condor Geograph is furious and launches Missile Bird, but Subaru slices through them with a Ryuusenzan, but falls to a Wing Laser, and crashes into the field of flowers.

'It's over.'' Condor Geograph declares as the otherworldly music from Tribe 8 begins to play. The others cry out to Subaru, and he uses Typhoon Dance on the UMA. Seeing the flower petals whiring around Him awakens Osa's real personality. He sees the sacred flowers, which temporarily stuns Condor Geograph. Screaming that he's God, Condor Geograph manages to pull himself together for one last Flying Impact, but Subaru transforms into Thunder Berserk and nails the UMA with electricity. Osa falls out of the fusion, and Condor Geograph dissolves (deleted?).

So, everything's right again. Luna glomps Subaru, and Osa thinks that Rockman is God now, and starts kneeling to him. Heh. Misora waves goodbye and waves out, followed by Cancer Bubble. Subaru follows suit, much to both Luna and Osa's dismay.

Back in Kodama, Akane and Subaru are eating out at some fancy dinner palcer. The food? Bird of some sort. Subaru wails in dismay.

Preview: Luna and co. are in the woods, Misora is dressed as a ninja(!), so is Cancer Bubble (haha), a reject from Naruto takes out a scroll, Hyde glares, and Gori leaps out of a helicopter(LOL).

Well, this episode was better than I expected it to be. The art got really nice towards the end, and I didn't catch the usual 'Nomoto lol' moments that I usually do. I wonder is Condor got deleted or not... Though, I have to wonder, why did Subaru not want that meat in the end?

Next up, is the quest for the Shuriken OOPArt, it seems. Look forward to seeing everyone dressed like ninjas, finding out that the art director (I wanna say Takahashi, but I'm not 100% sure) has watched/read way too much Naruto (give the guy in the preview a bland face, and he could've walked right off of Kishimoto's sketch pad), Gori leaping into action, and Hyde. Awesome Hyde is awesome. Looking forward to the next little story, I am.

This episode was really good, so was the art at the end. I think the reason why Subaru was wailing at the end, is probably the food they were eating reminded him of the Condor UMA that he just got finish fighting.

Not a bad episode. I just kinda had to stare though when it was the flowers that made Osa snap out of it.
Also, kinda bummed that we never saw Condor's natural form. Condor Geograph however was awesome.

One thing I've been wondering about in this episode and the last one is...what the heck does Subaru keep calling Luna "Iinjo" for? What's that even mean? ._.

I can't say I know if that's the correct spelling or not, but I do remember it just translates into "president" or "class president." All of her classmates continue to refer to her that way, as a sign of respect. It's been that way since the show started... Wink

Subaru basically said "Not more birds! T__T".

The episode made me laugh, Cancer is a hyperactive can of insanity. Plus Luna's fangirling caused Osa to start worshiping poor Subaru as well! I had to laugh when Misora just left him.

The battle was okay, Thunder Berserk was a little hax then considering Condor is Wood element. Aside from the predictable dues ex machina moment it was a good fight.

Yeah, now that I've actually seen the episodes, I have to reverse my opinion of 11 and agree with the assessment of 12.

It was a little slow at first, with more than enough standstills, but it really picked up the pace there at the end. Outside of Thunder Berzerkers wonked pwnage of Condor Geograph (dudes, do you actually pay attention to the games or just take the synopsis and go with it?) it was pretty good.

Poor Subaru, he just can't catch a break. Not only does he have to put up with Luna, now he's dealing with Osa as well. XD I'd love to see a filler episode where those two are stalking him left and right...

However, I have to admit that Luna's fangirling just felt... out of place. It didn't make that much sense to me since she knows that Subaru is RockMan... although I guess she could still be in denial about it.

And is it just me, or is Subaru really starting to push those Barriers?

Yeah barrier do save you for atleast 1 attack..but I mean he should try and get a stronger barrier card to atleast survive a barrage for a short while..but this is a show something like that doesnt exist.

Isn't there a Super Barrier card in SF2?

With Brachio a good guy and Condor seemingly deleted, I wonder if Auriga General and Apollon Flame will become villans too. The anime has generally been pretty good at keeping characters from the secret areas involved in the story.

1. Remember to spoilerise those two.

2. Unlike Ryuusei 1, whose secret bosses were simply the Satellite Guardians who the player had already fought, Ryuusei 2's bosses are actually separate from the main story completely.
