Yo guys.
I was playing around with Movie Maker and made some custom intros to the first three Battle Network games, based of the OP to the original EXE series(And also using footage from both openings, the anime, and the Japanese EXE games commericals)
Battle Network 1(Mainly the same as the first EXE OP but with clips from the first EXE game commerical)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BERyTCVdRU&NR=1
Battle Network 2(Uses more different footage from the above one, uses footage from episode 56 to represent Rock fighting the Dream Virus from the end of the first game, replaced footage of World 3 with EXE 2 game opreators and Navis, etc.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2X-LxdqV__4
Battle Network 3(Unlike the first two, this one barely uses any footage from the actual OP. Includes footage of AquaCustom Rock blasting Gospel to represent the fight from EXE 2, the EXE 3 World 3 members and Navis, and Tamako and Tora. Uses the ending part of the extended OP song):

Tell me what you think! |

Before I go into comment, I must say that this thread belongs to the forum section DNN Station. One of the mods might move it there.
Anyway, since this was being your first time using Movie Maker, I'll be nice.
Making custom intros of the series and the game commercial is quite fun, but you'll have to use more efforts to make them entertaining. You kept that edge anyway, since you progress more after every release. That's why I think the 3rd intro is the best you've made so far!
My advice: Watch other people's music videos and learn from what makes them entertaining. It's not impossible by using Windows Movie Maker, but you might need to spend more time on making a pure, custom intro. That means: Use as little intro footage as you can and more from other sources, but you may keep the logo footage for a change!
Just wondering, how long time did you spend on making those intros? |

About two or three days each.
It was my intention to stick in a little bit of the actual intro footage because that's the way I've envisioned these game intros for the past few years. Having just got the hang of Movie Marker, these are real close to those ideas. |
