I'm curious:
If Puku Subs works with WPP to sub Beast, is there also the possibility of (maybe after you're done with Beast) to help with Stream?
I'm not requesting it, but just curious is all. -_-; _________________

WPP will be a working with a different group to do Stream, I believe. Nonetheless, Stream belongs to them. :P
Vpower.exe: That's a really touchy subject that I'm not sure how to handle. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

It's best to avoid translating through as many languages as possible. You lose enough extra-contextual content translating into one language, but if you were to translate through two it would lose even more. So, it's probably best to try and translate from the Japanese unless it's not possible; i.e there are no translators for Japanese to the language in question. _________________

Multii-language fansubs would be indeed interesting, but it'd help lots if they were made by people who know japanese, in my opinion. Take the original script as a base script. Then again, I don't think this group has enough translators to do that extra work...
Good luck with your project, Ryouko and the rest of the Puku Anime fansubs staff. _________________

HiKaizer has a very good point. You don't see us making our translation from the Spanish release of Beast, do you? In each language things will translate very differently. It is best to translate into your language straight from the original Japanese version. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. Hello, everyone. Thank you for your replies.
By the way, I stop translating now because my computer is out of control. I'm writing this reply with another computer for daily work. I've already ordered new CPU, motherboard, and so on. My new comuter will complete in a week. Then I will start translating again. I'm sorry for causing much trouble.
Bye for now. _________________ I am a Japanese, and one of translators of Puku Anime.

Thank you. |

That's OK, Hydro. Thanks for the heads up, though. Now I know that if I have any questions editing your script this week, I might have better luck pestering NumberGirl for help. (Arrrgh! Pelted with Number Balls! :puku:)
Good luck with the new computer. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Thank you for your replies, everyone :]
My new computer has been completed, so I can start the translation again.
By the way, I'll go on a trip from July 21st until 31st.
I can't translate during those days.
Until then, I want to complete translation as many as possible.
See you again in #PukuAnime :] _________________ I am a Japanese, and one of translators of Puku Anime.

Just stopping by to say that I really appreciate the work Puku Anime and WolfPackProductions are doing with the subbing and all. I'm looking forward to the future works.
I am a student Japanese at the moment and watching anime really works for me, be they subbed or unsubbed. I watched the entire Stream saga without subtitles and could follow most of it pretty well.
*takes a bow* That is all. :3 _________________
