Yeah, Vent = Ventrilo. I also use it for WoW/Counter-Strike.

All I need to know is if it works with Vista.

Also, I think you can do the tournament mode as long as everyone has each other's friend codes. I'm not sure though.

Today's update is not much.Sakurai just lists a few techniques not listed in the guide that comes with the game.

Some of them are pretty amusing this time around.But,I already knew about Ukemi from my SCIII mini-guide,so it's okay...

Wonder who the next HC is...maybe Falco?Plus,when will they reveal more of the ATs?I heard Isaac from Golden Sun is in there...

There's 25 ATs discovered so far. (Unless I forgot any)

(Most of this list is copypasta'd from a video with a screenshot of each AT)

1.Advanced wars-appear on the screen to attack your rival.
2.Andross-spits a bunch of polygons.
3.Dr Wright-builds large skyscrapers to attack the rivals from below.
4.Hammer Bro-throws hammers at your rivals.
5.Helirin-spins round and acts like an item.
6.Jeff-shoots fireworks at your rivals.
7.Jill Dozer-attacks your rivals with her driller.
8.Kat And Ana-slices anyone in their way.
9.Lakitu-drops spinies on your rivals.
10.Lyn-slice your rivals.
11.Metroid-sucks life out of your rival.
12.Tingle-makes flowers appear.
13.Devil-moves the screen.
14.Gray fox-slices your rival.
15.Isaac-pushes your rivals off the screen with a big hand.

Ventrilo or Vent is really simple to operate. Unfortunately, it requires a host / server where everyone will join and meet up. If you already have a host, then all you need is the IP Address of the server, the Port number, and the password if any.

I've attempted creating a server before but failed. So it might be a good idea to read up on how to create a server and getting it up and operating.

Another common VOIP program for gaming is TeamSpeak, but from my experience Ventrilo is better in sound quality (In other words the quality in which each person is heard).

Edit: After looking up some more information about Ventrilo Servers. It appears that the free version of Ventrilo only allows the max of eight ( 8 ) users to be connected to the server at one time. Since you will be wanting more than eight ( 8 ) users on the server at a time, it might be better to use Skype which is free and to my knowledge does not limit you to how many people you can be chatting with at a time.

And I thought Stafy's assist was a Rapid Spin, not shooting things. In his games he does a spinning tackle on the enemy. Then again, I haven't seen his video, just seen his update. It looked like he darted around and Rapid Spin attacked your rivals.

Today's update is interesting. I like this stage, if only because of headbutting the ground under things. I hope that means you can headbutt the stage and knock rivals into the air.

I am loving the new hidden stage that was today's update.Totally gonna be on my favorites during a multiplayer match. Razz

Played this crazy mode at the stores when it was on the GBA.Ahh...good times...

While reading online,everyone is talking about the costumes.I'm curious to know what costumes from Brawl you're enjoying.Why not we have a discussion about which ones we like,which ones suck and which ones were we suprised to see?

BTW,I'm hearing rumors that a Fire Emblem 3 remake is being made for the DS.Is this true?

Yoshi update. @_@

The little green dude has quite the range. I liked the pictures Sakurai put up for him... licking Samus, popping out an egg with that sick look Yoshi gets, and wanting to hug/attack you with a range that's THIIIIIIS BIG! I like how Zelda is waving to Samus as she falls into the abyss.

Those stage builder springs look good, and I like the conveyor belts. That seems like it'll be fun to toy with.

They added Wind Waker Link and Twilight Princess Link, so why no Wind Waker Ganondorf.... Double Swords FTW!!

Also is it so hard for the creators to give Ganondorf some decent moves??
