Ah, Lucario. The mysterious "kick me and see what I can do" Pokemon. His attacks get stronger when he's put into danger. The more damage he has the stronger his aura becomes. This is like a 'Don't kick me' sign on his back, don't you think?

His moves are a fine mix of ranged charged shots and punches flying. When Force Palm connects from a distance it sends enemies flying, but at close quarters it changes the a gut wrenching punch! Double Team is Lucario's counter, and takes timing to max its potential. It actually looks pretty neat.

"Let me tell you, when you flash the opponent one of those "I’m wide open" poses and then counter their strike, if feels ridiculously good." --Sakurai

I am so doing this. Must do this. "Look at me, I'm open. Kick me! Oops, kicked you first!! : D "

Finally, Lucario's Final Smash. It makes me think of Hyper Beam, but it isn't. It's just a big bad beam he fires into enemies while he floats up top, grinning his wicked grin. Has to be aimed, but it looks pretty.

All in all, a fun fighter. I'm looking to getting my ass kicked to unlock his true potential. Me getting my ass kicked happens enough for that to happen quite a bit. : O

Oh joy, here's predicting a flood of silly pictures from Wiis into this forum. Razz
Not that I'm complaining... just so long as we don't see 1000 Peach upskirts and horrible webcomics, anyways! I can imagine them now... and that's never a good thing.

Mario: Gee Bowser, why are you always sitting on Yoshi like that? He's the one who lays eggs, not you. You won't hatch him.
Bowser: But Mario! I just want something to love!

A riot. <__<

Better get one, then! They're dirt cheap... you can get 2GB SD cards for under $30.

Feel free to provide a snapshot of Lucario fighting Snake to go with this inside-jokish caption:

Lucario: That's it, Snake! More! Hurt me more!
Snake: ...Gray Fox?!

I suspect at least one site to make use of this easily. Although I'm sure the normal people on the internet will make good use of this. Might be fun.

Rolling Eyes Might as well reply with today's update info.Today,we get to see Spear Pillar and what it does. It's quite an interesting stage, being hidden and all. But,it has some joys in it.

To unlock it:

Defeat the Event Mode Challenge w/ Lucario

That's all for now,gang.

All sorts of Pokemon in that stage. The effects on it make it look like a fun, if challenging, stage to play. Ugh, gravity-mimics. Flipping stages upside down, slowing time, and blasting the hell out of things. This will give me fun-headaches! ^ - ^

As a side note, I just love the shot with Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf (Don't ask me which, they all look the same to me). He's just popping in like 'Hay guise, what's goin' on here? : D '

Dedede looks like he wants to play 'thwack the Cresselia.' *gulp*

Spear Pillar looks really fun to play on. The Pokemon related stages in this game look like they will be the ones I will be playing on the most.

I do believe this is the first time I've ever seen Sonic use his quills to stab someone. XD

I would have to say the same... for once a hedgehog is a hedgehog and not a blue blur. Though if we really wanted to we could say Sonic's buzzsaw attack is actually using quills for offense!!! I don't want to though. : <

Good find.

Actually, yes. That may be the first recorded scene of it. But that's probably what he does with the spin dash and other moves.

Man, I think this game is going to be really big - bigger than we thought... in terms of sales, I mean.
I currently have two copies of the game pre-ordered (I pre-ordered one myself back in October, and my girlfriend - unknowing that I had a copy already pre-ordered - pre-ordered another for me this February), so I was talking to a guy at a local EB Games to see how many copies they were getting in. Back in October, I was #30 on the pre-order list, so we also wanted to find out what number my other pre-order was... it was #140. The guy said at that location alone, there are well over 200 pre-orders, and they're getting in more than enough copies in to cover all those pre-orders...
So, yeah, at that one location of EB Games (there are another 2 locations in my city), there are over 200 pre-orders for Brawl. I don't doubt the other locations have at least 100 pre-orders as well. My city's population is under 200,000...

So, yeah, this game is going to sell a LOT of copies within the first week. Holy shiz.

Oh, and if you're wondering what the heck I'm going to do with the other copy, that's going to Izu. Izu wanted me to buy and bring her a copy of US Brawl when I visit Japan later this month (She doesn't have a Japanese Wii)... so having that 2nd pre-order worked out really well.

*giggles excitedly*

e.o

Maaan, I wish I hadn't pre-ordered at Nintendo World, since there's gonna be a midnight release at gamestop and at best buy, and not at nintendo world (They're only opening early on sunday)
