*laughs* Are you guys kidding me? How you had to get Rayquaza? I got him in the coin machine. lol In fact,I got most of the bosses that way. Its pretty fun, and if you pla long enough, you can find a lot of good trophies in there.
Anyone know another way to get Shadow's trophy? I can't find him anywhere, except as an assist trophy, which doesn't count. DX

As much as I like coin launcher, it gets boring after a while, and I'm trying to get better at smash, so playing in harder difficulty levels is a good thing for me..
...Plus, I need those coins for all the continues in all star and classic *shot*

This just happened to me. I was fighting the final boss on easy just to see if it was possible for a stand to show up. To me surprise one actually did....but the boss had half of its HP. I was so frustrated, but it gives me hope that I can get a trophy of the boss without having to play on intense mode. Even though I probably should since I think I have to do that anyway with Boss Battles mode.

Remember, if a challenge is too hard, you can always just use the golden hammer 
I plan on doing that on the "Defeat five enemies in cruel brawl" if I unlock everything else and still can't do it XD

Better late than never. 
And I prefer to use my coins for the coin launcher. Doesn't really surprise me, since I grew up playing space shooters which the coin launcher seems based off of.
Speaking of which, has anyone gotten the coin launcher's difficulty past normal? I'm guessing the higher difficulties give you trophies of higher rarity, but I can't quite figure out what I need to do to get there.
...I sure hope people know what I'm talking about. o_O

I've been busy. I've handled SSE on normal and again on easy to get remaining cut scenes. Toon Link's my new main. He's a monster!
I've also handled Classic and All-Star thanks to the 9000+ coins I've earned.

That happened to me except it was the beginning the fight. What a pain.
I've found out that Pikachu's Down and B on the top platform absolutely dominates the 100 Man and Endless Brawls.

You actually better try to get the 5 KOs in Cruel Brawl at least. Because another panel requires you to kill 10 of them.

Atleast, I think there is... See, the little symbol next to your coin count was a light blue circle when I first started, but I noticed after awhile that it had changed to the green Smash Bros symbol. Though now I'm starting to think maybe it was just my imagination...I just checked the Dojo and all the screenshots of it are the same symbol, and I've been picking up loads of trophies with the launcher, but the symbol hasn't changed...
The thing that made me think it had difficulties in the first place was the fact that, after I noticed the green Smash Bros symbol, those gaping holes and black-and-purple obstacle orbs started to appear.

I prefer Ike and his Up Smash, myself. Obliterates those alloys en masse.

You enter a temporary rapid-fire mode and a few trophies come out all at once. Unless your aim is really bad or there's obstacles in your way, you can snatch up all those trophies and the targets flying around pretty easily.

Man...I tried the Cruel Brawl when teamed up with someone, and we managed to get A kill before I died at 24%. That was nuts.

For Cruel Brawl, on Youtube, there's videos of players taking someone like Kirby and flying around underneath the stage tricking the Alloys into suiciding. I tried it myself and managed to get six, so maybe you can find that trick and mimic it.

You can try spamming Aether off the edge with Ike or use Kirby to lure the Alloys out and smash them down with his Cutter before hanging on the edge. It's risky either way.

Hopping under the platform, that's how. It's easiest with Pit, since he can airjump thrice and his Wings of Patulena have the greatest flight time.

Anyone complaining that getting enough kills on Cruel Brawl needs to do Boss Battles on Intense. That will make you want to throw your controller right through your screen. =p
(I just completed it today. Most nerve-wracking thing EVAR)
