This was hands-down, the highlight of the past few days. We wrapped this prank up late last night.

Before I begin, let me explain that I work for a TV studio.

So, on April 1st, two of my coworkers announced that they were getting engaged to a handful of people and then they revealed it was all a huge joke, and laughed at everyone's expense.

Well, that changed. I talked to one of our receptionists and she agreed to leave the two coworkers a voicemail message stating that the message was being forwarded to everyone in the company explaining their engagement and congratulating them.

Then I went and talked to our boss and got him to leave them a message congratulating them and then follow that up by telling them that he'd be glad to have our company record their wedding pro bono. After that, I visited one of our camera guys and he agreed to personally talk to them and congratulate them on their engagement (you should have seen their faces) and then he went one further and told them that he'd been put in control of photographing/recording their wedding and wanted to know all the details about it so that he could plan accordingly.

Top that off with the fact that we even got the girl's minister to call them up and ask them if they wanted the wedding at the church or somewhere else and when the date would be.

Was it cruel and probably over-the-top? Very much so. But did we enjoy it? Absolutely.

And hey, they started it.
