Hiya. I'd like to experiment a little using this thread as a little critique booth. My drawings are usually pencil and inks, but I can improve. I'd like to see what some people would like to say here. Just don't be too harsh, I am sensitive after all.

Ok, first off: http://jeminiseijin13.deviantart.com/art/Bedtime-82199761. This was done a few days ago. As you can tell, I like drawing this boy from Ryuusei. He looks tall, but I tried to shorten it as much as possible. I've yet to color it yet.
Next: http://jeminiseijin13.deviantart.com/art/Classroom-profile-1-81198754.This idea popped up in the middle of the school year. I wanted to draw myself and others before I graduate. Yes, my mind is screwed.
Finally: http://jeminiseijin13.deviantart.com/art/Kiza-OMG-77409166. I was kinda embarrassed doing this. I was REALLY upset when I thought about it. Still, a boy like him could possibly act like that if he doesn't play such an important role in the story. That is, if he manages to think like that.

I hope I can learn a few things from this. I still can't post the URLs correctly, so bear with me for my lack of good brain cells. Any nice advice? Go ahead. If I seem to be doing this wrong (the thread), the mods will probably lock this. Anyways, bye.

Also, starting today, I will be in Washington D.C. for my orchestra/choir competion. That means I won't be here until Sunday night to post more of my sketchy work. I know it doesn't seem important to say, but I just don't want to be plagued by replies by the time I get back.

I have 3 new piece of sketching I came up with during my Spring Break!

More updates, 2 pieces to be exact:

#1: http://jeminiseijin13.deviantart.com/art/Xan-Armor-Concept-85365154: This was made as a result of using Rockman references. The character in this picture is my OC. My choice of weapon is very confusing.

#2: http://jeminiseijin13.deviantart.com/art/A-Gift-or-Obsession-2-85371662. My second page of my comic. I wanted to expose a bit of Luna/Subaru, but I think Subaru is oblivious to it still. My next page shall shall explain, not now though.

Honestly, I need to know how to color and what to color with. The last time I used colored pencils, it didn't come out right. If any of you have a nice suggestion, please share it with me. But, seeing how this thread is only responded with my comments, I highly doubt anyone will do so.

The concept is interesting and well done. I think I remember some of the references you had to make it. And that comic is hilarious. Luna is crazy funny.

After some time, I finally got to draw in peace. So far, I started on a new series, but the comic that is supposedly on hold is not botched yet (I still have to think about the next page). I decided to do different concepts to jog my imagination for a new idea. Hopefully, I can learn how to color soon.

http://jeminiseijin13.deviantart.com/art/Team-quot-Ryuusei-quot-Soldier-92134046: The infamous "Meet the..." videos gave me another weird idea. I thought him being a soldier and all that would match the setup here. Once again, don't know if I'll get flames or weird comments. I still liked making that expression.

Once more, I don't get any comments, but I'm not going to stop drawing and posting. As dead as this seems, I don't care anymore.

I think your style is coming along nicely. Like maybe your Misora face could use a little work, but you draw a nice Subaru. Even if it's sometimes a creepy one. LOL. I also really like the insane Burai pic on the other one. You got that crazy look down great. Some nice ideas you've put together this update.

I take it you didn't get any photo program this past Christmas like you wanted, then? (I totally forget if you said or not) Or don't you feel comfortable enough with it yet?

And don't give up. We all have gone through that no comment bit at some point. Drawing should be fun and done because you want to do it, not solely for fame and glory. When you're having fun and also improving, eventually things will get better. You just need to be happy with and enjoy what you are working on. Smile

Something new. Yes, after so much time in the books, I got to making more stuff. Here's what I added:

RnR cosplay 1- I had this in mind, and it came out very well. I was actually surprised that someone commented on it about a minute after I posted it.

Char. Concepts- Something hit my mind before and I just started doodling until I had this on the paper. I was looking at the Ryuusei no Rockman 3 story and its many references to cards. So I decided to take that same reference and use it in a different way. I had to scramble the Internet for Kanji refs, and it payed off in the end. It's a pity that I was using graphite pencils when I did this, so there were dark smudges around the paper. I also am using these characters, though they will be edited a little, for a lone project I will be working on.

Card Suit Crusades- Main Chars.- After that drawing above this one, I started to develop a story to fit them in. I took several references from Mu and RnR in order to make the preface. I also tried to look at a few Kanji for one of the characters because I wanted to do some word play. Anyways, the main character's backstory was a complete mix of experiences I had experienced before, so he's like a mirror-image of my past. I tried to use the Japanese format to my best judgement. Hopefully, this will turn out very interesting not just for me, but for anyone else that gets interested. Though, I wish I could get some help improving my style. I'm still putting enough detail into it, I think.

Ha. I get it. I personally don't like Eddie but would Misora be Venom since that would complete the whole love triangle. But if Tsukasa dresses as Bridget I'm waving out of here. Or using a card or two to chase him.

Ok then. I don't have to attack then. But at least the joke about venom was funny. Great work. Jam fits Subaru's mom. Does that mean his dad would have been Ky? Burai might fit Sol. Although Sol might be too friendly for him. And it does fit the little split personality but of course I just don't like Bridget because of how much he looks like a girl. I think that about a lot of real people too. I'll try not to get Ackbar on you now.
