Colonel was a great character. Easier to use then Protoman.

The first kid (I don't even remember his name), is indeed Mr. Hat's son. He was in The Phantom of the Network for the cellphone, and he appeared in Beast+ 21.

The second one is Tab (Asuka in the Japanese version), who was one of Lan's new friends in BN6. He ran the chip shop and was nixed from the anime.

I laugh at that X-series Colonel, navi, thing... Just as bulky as anything to come out of those games.

Those sketches of Kalinka are interesting to see, and I still think that Famous's BN6/Beast outfit was unnecessary and ugly. Glad they didn't go for the fat, sweaty otaku design though.

Well, Mick had his own special generic Navi with attitude in the game...technically Tab had one too. Since they had class battle activities and all. Mick didn't in the anime, for the little he was actually in Beast.

Atsuki for Haly, parka-less Ivan, Oi, some Dingo, and a few more Navis today. Guess I'll leave the next batch up for request. Name who you want to see and that'll be what I post next:

Atsuki! And Dingo! And StarMan and BrightMan! Yaay!~ :D Ah, so Tango was going to be Medi's pet then? Interesting. Although in the 13th pic, I like the design of the Navi with the red gloves. It's a pre-Medi design, I'm guessing? ( I like it better than Medi anyways. XD )

As for the next batch, I say open the book up to a random page, and if there's a pic/character on the page that you haven't scanned yet, then scan it! No, seriously, do it just like that. Surprise us! Cool

Ha! That proto-Tenguman strongly resembles Chief Osa Agame from SF2 and Tribe!

Chillski looks so out of place without that parka.

Ugh at proto-Starman.

Hmm, I would like to see some more of the cellphone exclusive stuff, like Hatman, Jammingman, and Cache.

Yeah. We were all surprised when we found out Duo did have a body.
You know, too bad we didn't see some of the evil humans in the anime. The asteroid navis would have been perfect for this. Like with A.Plantman.
So we hardly ever saw Dingo with his hood down. He has brown hair?
The other Aquaman were weird. Except for the one that looks like classic.
I like the Medi we got instead of the other idea but I wish she would have had Tango. It would make the thing with her and Roll even better.
The other Tenguman were interesting.
The other Starman and Needleman look different. At least I think one of them was Needleman. He looks like a Heal Navi.
So there were girl basic Navis? That's fun to know.
You ever wonder how they got from a classic like bulbhead Brightman to Mr. Check It Out! That might be interesting.

Yes, there have been girl generics in the games. Played roles in enough request board missions, too.

I'm guessing you're thinking the other generic heel is a Needleman, but no, that was just another heel variant in the games. Needle only had that one scan.

If I don't get those requests up tomorrow, they'll be posted Thursday. There really aren't any other Mr. Prog pics except one that I haven't cropped. So Shakai's quoting skills will mostly have to do. LOL. But while I'm on, I'll finish up the rest of the generics and the Transmission Navis that I didn't crop the other day. I'm not totally sure if the 4th is a Gravity or Sword concept, but I'm leaning towards Gravityman. I assume that's his Navi Crest built into the design and not just a similarity in the shoulder design...but I really haven't figured it out myself Embarassed

Gravityman's navi crest is more on his elbow (the round thing), unless that's what you're referring to.

The fourth scan of that batch is Swordman's scrapped designs.

Yeah, I meant actual Grav has the crest in his shoulders, as I called them, the part that connects his arms to body. The concepts in the 4th pic have that similar roundness built into the shoulder design, and that circular inset sorta matches Gravityman's crest. To my eyes at least. That's why I was leaning towards them being his. Plus I thought Swordman concepts would include some actual swords in there. Wink

The positioning of that set of sketches didn't help me figure it out. Thanks for the clarification.

Also look at the captioning. Swordman is ソードマン　while Gravityman is グラビディマン. When in doubt, match the captioning.

I also think the Cube game characters should have been in a normal game.
The other Swordman looks different. And we hardly saw the other swordheads didn't we. I think they even deleted one in the anime. I still also say that a MMORPG might be good if they give you the ability to play as any Navi.

Those Swordman concepts look a lot closer to his Robot Master counterpart. If I remember right, the deep-voiced, red head was deleted in the Meiru's First Date episode, and the other two followed in...the Mistman episode.

They should've used the Transmission navis in the BN4 tournaments instead of the generic navis. There were five of them, so they could've used them and an original navi for the sixth slot.
