Now, maybe you don't know me or maybe you don't pay attention to these kinds of things, but.. I have not attended school consistantly for over four years. Enough is enough.

I don't know why it started or how it happened, but...it did.

It's been a while in coming, I've tried different things and nothing's worked. Now one of the more "drastic" measures is being taken.

Next monday, May 12th, I will be admitted into Devereux, the Glenholme school. It's a boarding school specializing in children with certain learning disorders. This is...the best way, really.

Now then, how this involves all of you?

Well...I'm not going to have time to be forum-hopping while at school (let alone the fact that there's a firewall), and even if I did, I'd just get sucked into my old pattern. Painful as it is for me, I have to leave this life behind...

Now...don't get me wrong. I'm not abandoning you....I may come back and visit whenever I have home visits, but I doubt I'm going to spend oodles of time doing so....

You all mean so much to me....it's really heart-breaking for me to have to say this....

You're my friends, my family, and I love all of you.

I'll still be around to chat between now and when the time comes for me to go, though. Be sure to drop me a line if you can.

PS: Oh right, almost forgot to mention. I will be seeing you guys at otakon, I just need to behave my best at the school.

Yeah, wow. I mean the high school years aren't always the greatest for people, but that's quite awhile!

But it's good you're admitting you need to go and accepting it well (at least by the sounds of your post...probably not completely though Laughing

). It seriously is important that you at least try to make it work and do your best to succeed. And I hope you do, man.

I'm sorry to see you go, and it sucks that you have been and will be going through some hard times, but I suppose that's life sometimes. I wish you the best of luck in your new school, and I'm sure there'll be plenty of people here who will miss having you around more often.
