I get that. But why as a last name. It's a joke attempt or something right.

I wonder if Kyuu's name is a double pun. George Romero is a famous director, but maybe 'Romeo's' referrenced too, for in a screenshot he says something about 'getting all the ladies.'

I just got recent news that most of the voice acting in the game will be silenced in the English version. Another reason why the dubbers here are hated. That was a REALLY BIG letdown. I'm very upset.

The game is now out. I just got it recently so not far. But there is Wi-fi battles that I did check out.

Did my first battle with someone name Lan Hikari. Connection is pretty good. Just make sure your internet is good.

That is quite a letdown. I ordered the game on Saturday from Amazon, but it is back-ordered until the 27th.

It's not like the game had ZXA-level amount of voice acting. Only the title screen, Thank you for Playing, and the Tribe One transformations and special attacks had voicework. It's no loss at all, and frankly, I found that feature obnoxious to begin with.

Actually, if you want me to be honest, the first thing that went through my head was: "so...?"

I'll probably get a copy later on this week; hopefully ZerkerxNinja won't sell out like Pegasus did last year....

You're right, it is not a major loss. I thought it was a nice little feature though, considering there was little voice work it should not have been that hard to do. I am not going to think any more or less of the game because of it, but it still would have been nice to have. I guess it is just a matter of prefernce really, because I liked hearing the voices during the Tribe transformations and special attacks. (from the official site videos anyway)

Question.

What's the difference between choosing from the two New Game options?

One plays a Berserk game, the other plays a Shinobi/Dinosaur game. It's basically the same as EXE5DS, where it had two versions of the same game on the same cart.

Sorry if I'm confusing people with the Japanese names, but that's what I played and I what I think of.

Also I kind of liked the voice acting clips. "kore de kimeru, KAIZER DELTA BREAKER!" :3

I got BOTH, yes both, versions today! I'm happy, yet sad. With the lack of voice acting, the game doesn't seem so cool. Still, I have the original Berserk X Shinobi version my aunt got me in Roppongi Hills, Japan. I guess it's not bad. I still wish they shouldn't have done that!!

Its weird watching the intro scene and not hearing the name of the game said. Every time it boots up the japanese voice pops in my head since theres no english one.

By the way, who was dissapointed with the wave command card kit? I was, its 6 cards that punch out (2 for each Opart) and the rest is just like a library telling u what holes to touch the screen through. I was expecting the whole book to be a punch out. Im going to buy a second copy and cut all the cards out and use them the way they SHOULD have been made.

That's messy and a waste of time. The book is a much more organized way of using the cards. Why waste the money?

I've picked it up after work today, and have just beaten Dark Phantom's scenario. Here're my impressions...

What Comic likes:
-Higher encounter rate.
-The Wave World is all-encompassing, like how it was represented in the anime.
-No more needing to be on a Wave Road to pulse in to devices.
-Title screen music.
-Ghostbuster references aren't limited to the anime.
-Boss music.
-Star Cards.

What Comic doesn't like:
-Redone sprites. Save for Geo's, the others are simplified, especially Luna's.
-The text scrolling bugs me for some reason.
-Only 4 Favorites.
-They revealed the villian far too early.
-Hyde and Ghost/Phantom are nowhere near as awesome as in the anime.
-I wasted 3000z on a wallpaper.
-Geo's personality is MIA.

Well, I'm having fun so far, and that's what counts.

The difficulty kinda feels like it was incresed a little bit. But not complaning atleast its giving a fair challange.

The only thing so far I'm not quite liking is the link power. Gives you very limited abilitys.

Seems like the quests are alot harder to do now. Like the one I'm doing *Spoilers*

adter you beat Blizzard Yeti and go to your hotel room theres a girl who wants you to find a Food guru. I can't seem to find the person. any help with this?

Over all I'm having a great time..Though onine battles seems unfair..Can't say I blame it..not sure if we battle people from Japan or people who haves the japanese version of the game.
