Pre-production Art showing Scrapped Characters...?

I recently came across these images while looking through Yahoo Auctions. Checked with someone real quick to make sure it wasn't just me seeing things, and it looks like some of the characters on here were cut. To be quite honest, I wish I hadn't, because it pretty much says that the anime was cut short. I still want to know why..

These appear to be the characters' concept artwork. Nice find.

No, these are model sheets. They are very different from concept art.

Any character you don't know is probbaly some random schmo from an episode or two.

The girl next to the bean head guy was an idol that appeared in Tribe 6. Her name was Maya, I think. Mr. Bean was the newcaster in that episode, I think, and the one next to Warrock looks like it's of random people from the Himanara village.

The one that strikes me though, is the second size comparison pic, because it has Apollon Flame, Auriga General, and what I think is Goat Kung-Fu on it.

Actually her name is Hayaya. She kinda reminds me of Flonne from Disgaea now that I see it without color XD
