*In his best Mr Burns voice* Ehhhxcellent, Smithers...

Wish we had some bigger scans, but it's good to hear that IntiCreates is doing it. Kinda disappointing that the game's not in a more modern graphical style, but as long as the game is good, I can't complain.

I disagree. 8-bit Megaman FTW.

I agree. It looks so much like a real 8-bit game. You'd almost think something like that was a lost art. Like die-cast.

Not too crazy about the graphics, but as long we don't have to put up with anything like the jet boarding from Frostmon's level, I'll be happy.

This is great. I never thought I would actually see the Classic series revived.

Awesomeness, lets just hope Inti' doesn't make it way too hard like some of the Zero games, hahaha (of course they were awesome)

I just wish you could own it in a retail form, I just think it better to own it then lose it if your system turns to crap, so it won't be lost forever....look back 20 years now and you wanna play like our NES copies, how will we be able to pull them out if our Wii's are dead......I know im rambling....i'll shut up

But I'll be wide wake on a Monday Morning to download this in the near future! YES!

I'm pretty sure once you download a WiiWare or Virtual Console item, you can always re-download it later for free if you lose it or delete it.

Galaxy Man's weapon is the "Black Hole Bomb".

Not to be a killjoy here, but those scanse could easily be doctored. 8-bit is one of the most easy styles to manipulate, and anyone can write out text.

I won't believe it until I'm holding that copy of Nintendo Power in my hands, reading the article.

I'll check when I see it. I usually get it when I see it.

Here's a small article that explains why this NES style is exactly what the series needs. According to it, the only mistake Capcom could be making is making this game to beat Megaman 2 while Megaman 2 was made to beat indifference.

We wouldn't do that.

Huh. Three different places and after 4 days someone gets it. Thank you for getting my attempt at a joke. But that is the first thing I thought of when I saw it. And in related news, I'll see if I can check for a new NP magazine later this week. I don't subscribe to it.

Might take a bit; it is the August issue, after all, and it'll probably show up sometime after the 15th on newsstands, if I were to hazard a guess.

(I subscribe, I don't typically note when it hits newsstands.)

I've been getting my issues earlier than usual thanks to my who-knows-how-many-years-suscription so I'll likely see the scans up close and personal within about a week or so. Now this is something that I've been hearing about for some time now, and finally getting an official confirmation makes me happy knowing that the classic series gets to continue where it left off years ago.

The graphic style doesn't bother me for I enjoy seeing the old 8-Bit style as that is what we had to work with during the 80's.
