So uh what are the main Hotels Otarockman gtroup has anyway this year? I wouldnt mind being able to hang out with everyone more.....I do kinda feel left out at times ya know. ::Laugh::

Well, bad news: Tomahawk won't be able to make Ota. It will still be in progress, but won't make it till next year. To make up for it, I'll be making another character in time, and I'll have Cross Fusion Tomahawk for next Ota. Razz

If I have it finished in time. I'll be once again Bringing my Legend of Zelda Table Top RPG to Otakon to try and find people to play it. I started to rewrite and update the information trying to make it a little better. If anyone is at all intrested just let me know.

Seijin: Your best bet is to go to either the otakon or cosplay.com's forums and find someone who is looking for room mates. There are no available rooms left within walking distance of the con.

Since Otakon is nearing, I am posting this ad for the last time. I have three rooms available, however, three of my people dropped out leaving one person alone. Everyone's paid, but we're left with three empty spaces.
If you need a room, it is 186.00 for the entire weekend in the Day's Inn. I need the money by Monday, August 4 via Paypal.

If you need the space, don't wait!
On the other hand, if anyone in the Day's Inn is having trouble filling their room and wouldn't mind hosting another person, please let me know.

I'm actually going to be at Otakon this year! Twinling and I, a bunch of friends, and Neko are coming. I may or may not have a Netto cosplay to wear, we'll find out soon enough. That being said, when/where is the meet-up if there is one? (I imagine there is going to be one).

figured it would be near the starbucks, its the time I was worried about, because the Doctor Who meet-up/photoshoot is at noon, and I have to be at that as well. we're actually trying to schedule things out now so that way we make it to all the photoshoots.

I'm coming to Otakon this year, but I need to know if I can go on Saturday instead of Friday to attend. Plus, is cosplay mandatory for OtaRockman? Also, my parents have decided to find another hotel for me to stay in.

Edit: A last-minute trip my dad planned just cut my plans to go this year. Maybe next year.

Cosplay isn't mandatory for OtaRockman (we've had many people show up in regular clothes). However, people will really only want to take pictures of you if you're wearing a costume.

Anyone wanting to go to the movies on Thursday night and see Tropic Thunder? Otakon sent this press release out....

Otakon HD Theater in conjunction with Paramount Pictures is pleased to announce a special EXCLUSIVE screening of the new Paramount film TROPIC THUNDER, a comedy starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey, Jr! You can be some of the first in the nation to see the flick, which does not open to the public until August 13th! This promotion is only open to those members who have pre-registered with Otakon for their membership and are picking up their badge on Thursday. There will be in-line contests and promotions beginning at 4pm on Thursday where passes will be given away. The showing will be at the Landmark Theatres Harbor East, located East of the Baltimore Convention Center. You must arrive at the theater by 8:15pm and present your pass to the theater along with your Otakon 2008 membership badge for entrance.

A free movie doesn't kill anyone, that and it looks kinda funny, especially Robert Downey Jr. part....what was he thinking lmao, who's going, yeahhh!?
