Laplace is a descendant of Mu. The current theory is *RYUUSEI 2 SPOILERS* Solo has lost his ability to transform due to Mu's destruction. Thus Laplace will allow him to become Burai.

Luna's Wizard is named Mode. Kizamaro's is named Pedia.

I dunno, Rouge SX kinda blows a hole in that theory, as you fight him after the credits finish rolling. Still, the games have always been very vague as to whether or not the post-game content is canon or not.

There's a bio blurb for Laplace on the character page, but I have no idea if it eludicates anything, since Babel Fish can't 'translate' that text, and the only word I can recognize is 'Mu', and that's about it.

The COROROG blog (http://tarbosan.blog66.fc2.com/) has updated.

One of the version titles is called Black Ace. The other one could be Red Ace, as a deck of cards comes in two different colors. Anyway, this game's ultimate transformation is called a Final Rise, and its special attack is called Black End Galaxy, which sounds kinda cool in a cliche, shonen way. The Black Ace design looks like someone unearthed the Falzar Beast Out, slimmed it down and sleeked it up, and then colored it in with a black magic marker.

What next... Five new Noise transformations have been revealed, though one of them we've seen on the site for weeks. They are Cancer Noise, Wolf Noise, Crown Noise, Corvus Noise, and Virgo Noise.

A quick wiki tells me that corvus means crow in Latin, and that it is a constellation in the vicinity of Virgo (Whattaya know?) and Hydra. Contains the Ringtail peculiar galaxy, as well as the nebula NGC 4361. Virgo, of course, means virgin and is one of the zodiacal constellations. It's entirely possible that Corvus and Virgo are FMs for the mysterious boy and girl.

And the official site has updated with the schematics for Trans Code No. 004: Harp Note. Since I'm American, and thus too cool for the metric system, I can only estimate her height of 143cm as a bit under five feet. Whoever is metric savvy can correct me on that. And lucky her, she literally don't weigh a thing at 0kg.

And oh yeah, the Shidou+Acid Wave Change is called Acid Ace *insert '70s* joke. I'll laugh if it turns out looking like the lovechild of Voltron and Jet Jaguar.

From first appearances, Corvus Noise and Virgo Noise look contrasting to eachother, and Black Ace is just plain crazy. But for me, Crown Noise looks the coolest.

Okay, the girl's Wave Form looks nothing like how I was expecting it to. I guess that confirms the Queen spot. Acid Ace looks like a throwback to the setai shows of the eighties. Black Ace looks like it just flew in from Gundam SEED, of all things.

I think Black Ace looks pretty awesome. At first I was a bit iffy with this game, but now I am starting to look forward to it.

Whoo, updates ahoy. Lots of big stuff. From Cororog, and Dark Messiah's blogas usual.

First, we have a new version: Red Joker. The transformation design looks a bit less cool than Black Ace, but I'll hold full judgement until we get an official art piece. It looks like it has jet turbines hanging off of its shoulders. Red Joker focuses on power, while Black Ace is speed oriented (hence the wings).

The Noise level increases the more excess damage you do. If you delete a virus that has 50HP with a 100 damage card, the Noise meter goes up by 50%, for example. And it only works for non-elemental attacks, and during boss battle the amount will go up by half a card's base attack power. Oh yes, Program Advances seem to be returning. Cool. Also, when you talk to NPC's, occasionally there'll be words highlighted in red, which you can tap with the stylus and look them up in a glossary. Guess that's what Pedia will spend the game doing.

In plot related stuff, Cyberworlds seem to be back (Like in the first game when you pulsed in to machines to fight the FMs), and in Geo's classroom, Pat's desk is empty, so it looks like there may be a scenario revolving around him. You can also apparently wave in (called cyber in) anywhere, but you still come out at a set point. And there's also mention of how the two children report to some mysterious, third bad guy. And I just realized that the girl's hair is the same shade of blue as Shidou's, and in Animeland, that can only mean one thing.

Finally, voice acting will be present in the Japanese version. Battle grunts and stuff, just like in Double Team. Apparently, Shidou gets to be one of the characters to announce the title. (Hint towards a new anime season?!)

Now, in manga news, it appears that Ryo Takamisaki, the pen behind the EXE manga, will return to draw the Star Force manga. While I didn't really care for the EXE manga turning into a power up quest, it's much better than the ugh-inducing sludge that is what we currently have.

And one more thing:

Freedom Gundam

Acid Ace
Gundam Air Master

I see no resemblence.

Although it doesn't expressly say that in the article, I suppose so as the image with that in it also claims that Black Ace's NFB is "Meteo Light Barrage"...which we know it isn't. Razz

Interesting. So, we get more noise the more normal technique damage you do? I could do that. One thing though, wouldn't wind beat sword?

This one seems to be of the infamous battle tutorial in the beginning. Shows off the new Custom Screen and whatnot, as well as the Beast Swing card and a new one that has a graphic of a red, weedy looking virus.

CORRECTION: That ''weedy, red virus'' is actually Harp Note, apparently stuck on a magnet panel or something.
