Otakon 2009 - Look... at that horse!

Okay, Otakon 2008 is over (WTF MATE?!). Now we have to start the silly banter about next year!

Otakon 2009 will be held July 17-19, 2009 at the Baltimore Convention Center!

I for one, once again promise to cosplay Sigma. For cereal this time.

Ryouko's Room Lists:
Note: I have two rooms this year, both are business suites (or so my reservation says), with one double bed in each. My reservation e-mail states that each room can hold 5 people (legally), so I will be able to get 5 keycards. That means one of you will have to share with someone (in my room, Nobi and I can share a key so that's no problem).

Room rate per person this year will be $165 + $5 PayPal fee = $170 for the whole weekend. We are staying Thursday through Monday at the Days Inn! I accept payments at my paypal address, fefnir@gmail.com.

All payments must be received by July 3rd! That is two weeks before the con. If I do not receive payment by this date, your spot will -not- be assured. If you cannot make this date, please send me a PM and we will work something out.

When sending payment, please be sure to put your forum username in the notes. ^_^; Otherwise I may not know who you are...

Okay, For those of you who haven't heard the story:

I had commented to Terra that no one has cosplayed Iroh this year as far as I could see. She then suggested I "Cross"play as him.

After much talk we all decided the idea was "Awsome Sauce©" and I plan to suck as many people as I can possibly drag kicking and screaming into this black hole of an idea. I think Terra offered to be Zuko so we can pal around as the odd couple.

Also, the met hat will return.

We already got all our room reservations at the Days Inn again, so we're all set. Bigger rooms next year ftw.

Anyway, I'm going to try to keep myself more up-to-date this year, especially on hotel junk. At least it's a good long while for the moment, though.

I did miss rooming with the girls this year though. :< Changing into my cosplay and getting ready just wasn't the same. It was lovely to see you all again regardless, and lookin' forward to next year. <3

I have two ideas for cosplays next year, one being Hellbat and the other is an X character I've yet to see anyone cosplay. We'll seeee.

I'll be Model Z again, but I have to figure out a better way for the hair. The wig was painful. But, I also hear extensions are expensive... and my hair doesn't grow to very long. Gets to about past my boobs and stops o.o
