Wooo, started the tread for next year already? ^_^ Don't know if I'll be able to come next year, kinda depends if I can convince some friends to come. One question though. Does anyone have a space (or more) in a room availible? I'm currently looking at rates for next year but have much fun, since things are booked already.
That said, I'm working on an Alia costume for next year. Being Zero taught me a lot about packability. Especially with some airlines switching to paying for luggage. Soft armour all the way!

I'm gonna be meeting a friend there, and going as Maka from Soul Eater. But hopefully, I'll figure out to make Model X and a Biometal to go with it. ^^ |

Hotels are already selling out, so it's a good idea to make your reservation asap. You don't have to pay until you go there, anyways.

If my father agrees, I'm going to try cosplaying Beast Out Falzar after my big exam, since Ryo-sama has done Greiga. And also coz I'm afraid it might be my first and last cosplay >.>
If I succeed in getting permission to cosplay, hope u guys can help me out with the costume.

Oh wow! I was considering doing Alia myself, but if you're already set on it, I won't bother. I am rather excited to hear this in any case. Will you be doing the X5-X7 Alia or her X8 redesign? |

I was hoping to get people to join me in making a Joe Army. Get all the different Joes and what not from every Megaman Game, and then go marching through Otakon to the tune of the Imperial March.

I'd love to do Snakeman, but I wouldn't know how to pull him off. xD My cosplays are more or less decided for next year anyway. But first I have rooming to worry about first before deciding for certain if I'm going again.

I was 12 when I first went to Otakon.  Try to convince your parents! It's really a super-cool experience, probably will be for your parents as well.

@robo I'm gonna do the X8 version, easier to do with foam armour. The great thing is I managed to get the 20th anniversary Rockman reference book--with multiple angles shots of her--and my boyfriend said he'd do X if I make it. He probably can't come to Otakon though. >.<
(off topic, but does anyone go to Anime North?)

Anyway, I got permission to cosplay!
I already have an idea for the Beast Out Falzar costume.

Alia? That would be awesome to see from either one of you. I have been contemplating Layer for a few years. That probably won't be an option for 2009, but there's always the future. 2009...wow. Hopefully we'll see more people next year who couldn't make it during the previous years due to being too young. Everyone will be 2 years older since 2009 by then.
Since I'm cosplaying Pharaoh Atem from YuGiOh & maybe one from Gash Bell, I'll probably choose one new simple Rockman character or revive an old costume. Which new one to choose is the question. Solo looks pretty awesome from Ryuusei. 2 costumes with big earrings. LOL

I did think about doing Hornet Man....but also with Gas Prices dropping, also depends if Airliners will take off their new pricing system for 2nd luggage onboard.
