I just wanted to make this post in order to express my feelings of compassion for the people out there caught in the hurricane's grip or are in any way connected to it. Either Ike, or any other hurricane disaster.
I know a few people online whom are living in Houston and surrounding areas and are having serious worries regarding this weather. Even though I live all the way out in the Netherlands, I still feel concerned about their safety and hope the situation betters itself soon.
So to everyone out there who are in this mess; Godspeed to you!

I live in central north Texas, and we just got a bunch of dreary rain all day Saturday. Not too much of a hassle, just annoying. :P Feel bad for those in Galvaston and Houston, though...

Hurricane Ike tramples the states for its friends.
I tend to neglect the news, but man, Gustav and Ike were so close in date. I hope those affected recover quickly.

It's always terrible when things like this happen.
Hope those affected recover soon.
We don't have natural disasters where I live.
But unusual things happened and we were hit by a tsunami some time back.
It's a sign the world is destroying
