I know things are a lil' slow anymore in EXE land, but I'd be remiss if I didn't plug it here as well. Random, spur-of-the-moment contest open to all...

So I have both the Chinese and Japanese version of the Rockman 6 Vol. 1 manga. The Japanese one came in a complete set I got on eBay not too long ago. And while it's nice and all to have it in two languages, I don't really need both, since there's no major difference between them otherwise. Problem is, I don't know or care which one I'd rather give up. Rather than pawn it off on eBay to the highest bidder, figured I'd just give one away. So I decided I'd make up another fanart contest.

And since there's this new Classic game coming out (perhaps you've heard of it), I thought maybe somebody in the community should capitalize on the moment while it's there, too.

That said,

PRIZES:

Grand Prize - Rockman 6 Vol. 1 manga (language of your choice) and 2000 Wii points towards the purchase of Megaman 9.
2nd Place - 2000 Wii Points towards the purchase of Megaman 9.
3rd Place - Rockman.EXE no Himitsu Official Creation Illustrations Guide

More prizes...who knows???

And if we ever get serious confirmation about the whole PS3/XBox nonsense, perhaps I'll just substitute 'console point card of your choice.' I've never bought any points for my Wii yet and don't know enough about the other system's online stores, but it's my understanding Wii points are only sold at that value.

WHAT ARE YOU DRAWING?:

I racked my brain trying to think up some theme for the summer, without taking away any steam from Maq's annual contest. I mean, if you want to draw more characters in swimsuits, I'm not gonna stop you. So I settled on this theme: ...*Cue the Iron Chef guy*...

DRAW BOX OR POSTER ART FOR A NEW ROCKMAN SPORTS GAME!!

Hey, the Olympics are coming up, Wii is most known for it's fitness and movement innovations, most of us will never know Rockman Tennis, etc. And you can still draw girls in bikinis if you want.

Any series/character is game. It can focus on a single series or be a multi-series piece. Martial arts count, so it can be a fighting game. You are allowed to use sports that already have a place in the Rockman catalog (Soccer, Tennis, Racing), but it's gotta somehow differ from the original. You can also have more than one sporting event in the game. Hilariously bad parodies of other actual sports games are allowed.

Also send along a description about what we'd see in this new sports game of yours. What system, gameplay modes, controller features, characters, powerups, unlockables, etc. If you're taking the poster route, maybe throw some of those details onto it.

Your goal is to sell this title to the judges. Make us want to play this new Megaman/Rockman sports game. So you'll be judged on both your creativity artistically and how much thought you put into what'll be in this game. Make the most lame sport the most awesome Rockman game EVAR!!

DEADLINE:

I wish I had an exact date of when MM9 is gonna be released. We know September-ish, so let's say Sunday, Sept. 14th at midnight CST. That gives you almost two months. If the game isn't out by then, I'll extend the deadline a bit. Fair?

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Entries can either be e-mailed to me at rock2125[at]hotmail[dot]com or you can just PM me a link to your pic. I guess this time around, I don't care if you post your pic somewhere publicly before the deadline. Your choice. Just don’t come complaining if you think someone has stolen your idea, if you do post it early.

Since this is just something I'm throwing together quick, again, if anyone wants to chip in more prizes, be my guest. I love how my contests have little rhyme or reason and things always get added in or changed. Anyone wants to judge, just give me a shout.
Any questions, fire away.

@Unknown Neo: Alright, thanks for volunteering once again. I'll add you to the list.

And as a side note, as some have asked: if you don't have a Wii or a next-gen console, so the points are worthless to you, but would like to participate, I'm willing to substitute a Rockman prize of choice of equal value like I did this past Valentine's contest.

No problem. It should be that hard. I know someone who may know someone who can draw and may want to enter.

I'll also judge again, unless someone else wants that slot.

On the side note, I have an extra, sealed copy of EXE Himitsu that I was planning on using for a contest prize XD Hello there, contest. If you want to use that to substitute for next-gen console prize, then go ahead and list that.

That's fine, Malik. Adds more womenz to balance it out again. And your book is most humbly accepted. Although I'm just gonna make it a 3rd place prize right now. And if things switch around because Winner A would rather have Winner B's prize, etc., etc., it'll work. I felt kinda dumb only having the two places, but as of now there's only so much I'm willing to pay out. Laughing

Thank you again for both.

Gonna bump today to remind you all that there is just under 4 weeks to go until the deadline on September 14th. If rumors are correct, the game should be available for download about a week later, so this deadline will work out perfectly. I've received three entries so far, and people have been putting a great deal of effort into their descriptions for their games. Don't forget to send that as well! I've added the confirmed entry list to my first post, so I will update that as often as I can so you know I've gotten your entry.

I wanted to do this bump with my usual parody/shameless plug pic, but I haven't had the time. And I don't wanna perhaps steal the thunder from anyone's idea anyways. I'll probably save it until the day before deadline. So keep on working and keep 'em coming!

Final reminder time. Deadline is this Sunday, six days from now. 4 entries total so far...

On that note, probably gonna throw in an X3 manga to the prizes, too. I got screwed and bought an X3 Vol. 3 manga, only to find out that underneath the cover was Vol. 2. X( So I have an extra copy of Vol. 2 that I don't need. If you actually want to keep the Vol. 3 cover with it, I'll keep it on the book.

This way the top 3 will all get a manga or artbook at least, on top of the points for the top 2.

The deadline for this contest has ended. And I suppose you all would like to see the entries and learn who won what. I've realized I'm too tired to fiddle with .html tonight, so I'm just going to post like this in all the forums tonight. By next Monday at the latest, I'll upload everything to my crappy Freewebs site where I've kept the Valentine's Contest results for posterity's sake. Hopefully I'll have more time to comment on everyone's entries tomorrow night. Other judges may do the same in these forum threads.

I have not contacted all the winners yet, but I will be before the end of the night. Need to post this everywhere, first. Even though this was a contest to give away MM9, I'm not totally sure our winners even have the systems to play it. ^^; And of course being in the US, I have to get creative with our international winner. It wasn't a huge turnout like I had hoped, but I'd like to thank everyone who entered this spur-of-the-moment contest and all the judges who helped me out. And put up with my screwups.

We had 7 total entries...after I thought only 5, but missed getting a couple...each featuring a different sport. So each participant was thinking uniquely. As creative as some got with their art, there were also very creative descriptions for the games.

___________________________________________________________

That creativity and sheer effort led to us having no problem picking our unanimous grand prize winner, General RADIX (aka The Great Gonzo)!!!! RADIX will either get the Wii points, a dA subscription, or a Rock/Megaman prize of her choice. As well as the Rockman 6 Vol. 1 manga by Shigeto Ikehara.

#1.) RADIX's entry:

RADIX's Game Description: MEGAMAN?S HYPERBLADE

System: Sega Saturn (the original Hyerblade was to have a Saturn port)

Controls:

D-pad: Move in corresponding direction
A Button: Jump
B Button: Punch (tap), strong punch (press), slash (if you have the right gauntlet), use powerup
C Button: Ram (must have built up speed before executing)
X Button: Pass (direction is determined by D-Pad), receive (if not holding the ball; player will be notified in advance), pick up ball (if it was dropped), steal ball (from opponent, if they have the ball; otherwise, player will grab the other and be able to attack and/or throw them), pick up injured teammate (second press sets them down)
Y, Z Buttons: Cycle through players (Y is left, Z is right; determined by order players are placed onto team)
Left and Right Shoulder Buttons: Drift (i.e., quick turn)

Pressing C then X will pin the target. (Never do this for more than a few seconds)
Pressing B and C simultaneously when a certain meter is filled (more on that later) will execute a special attack.
If a character can fly, press A twice to launch into air.
When you have to catch the ball, press the button as soon as you?re prompted to. If you?re too late, it?ll hit you instead.

There is an option to configure controls.

Movement mechanics:

It is advised to keep moving while on the ?walls? or ?ceiling?. Most of the time you won?t have to skate onto those areas, but in the event that you do, do not let go of the D-pad or jump. You?ll fall. Due to the crowds and lack of gravitational regulators in most stadiums, you cannot stick to the walls or ceiling. Well, a few characters might be able to.

You can move and attack/pass/jump. You can also attack/pass while jumping (this tactic is useful for headshots)

When you stop on the ground, you will still glide forward a bit. (How far depends on your speed) Attacking will slightly move you in the direction of the attack.

Note on the Special Gauge:

[The directions for activating it are detailed above.] The Special Gauge is slowly filled by injuring opponents or scoring. When it?s full, you can perform a special attack. Some stadiums may penalize you for this, however, so keep that in mind.

Object:

Have the highest score by the end of the game. If all the players on a team are eliminated, victory goes to the opposing team UNLESS the annihilated team had more points.

In alternate games, simply take out all the enemy players. (Thanks to the brutality of Hyperblade, ?score only? games are rare.)

Scoring:

Pass the ball (it is made of material heavy enough to injure other players when thrown at them) into the enemy?s goal. Victory is more easily achieved by taking the opposing team out of commission?points exist more for ?pacifist? games or to win even if everyone on one team has been eliminated.

Teams:

Both teams are comprised of five robots. The style of gauntlets depends on the team: one set has two short claws (yellow), the other one long blade (purple). Players are categorized by speed, weight, power, and grip. One star is slowest/lightest/weakest/worst balance, five stars is fastest/heaviest/strongest/greatest balance. Two stars is fair, three stars is average, and four stars is good.

Lighter players are thrown farther from attacks, but do not have to skate as quickly to remain on a wall or the ceiling (and can turn more sharply). Heavier players are harder to knock away, but must skate faster to remain on a wall or the ceiling (and can?t turn worth a rat?s ass).

Weaker players cannot pass great distances or badly injure opponents with the ball or attacks, but decrease the risk of hurting their own teammates. Stronger players pass farther and have a better chance of hurting opponents whether by throwing or punching/slashing?the same applies to their teammates.

Faster players can remain on the walls/ceiling more easily. Slower players have difficulty remaining on the walls/ceiling.

?Grip? denotes balance. Players with low ?grip? lose their balance more easily and frequently; those with high ?grip? rarely, if ever, lose their balance, and are tougher to knock over.

For example: Megaman ? Speed ***, Weight **, Power ***, Grip ***.

If a player is finished off with a special attack for two rounds in a row (provided it wasn?t by Splashwoman or Enker), they?re out of commission for the rest of the game.

Rules:

These are mandatory rules for every stadium, though how lenient they are depends.

Players may not deliberately kill each other (i.e., decapitate, critically damage vital areas, etc.). In the event of manslaughter, the responsible player will be permanently removed from the game. (Note: This only seems to apply to [no-playable] organic players. Robots are considered ideal players for their resilience. Also, you can?t actually kill players. Sorry.)

It is not advised to pin down opponents for long periods of time. Not only can they attack you while pinned, you can be run over. Some stadiums allow this, some don?t. Like all changes to rules, you will be warned of this.

Robots with the ability to do so are forbidden from stopping or slowing down time for more than thirty seconds. This is because the radius for such abilities tends to be large and harmful to machinery (clocks, traps, etc.) and the repair costs can reach into the millions.

Also, water-based robots may not flood the arena. Among other things, it may result in drowning, mass electrocution (if traps short-circuit), shattering of glass via pressure?

Acid is banned from all stadiums, for obvious reasons. (It can badly damage stadiums, kill other players, bring harm to user?)

Use of nerve gas is forbidden. This counts as TERRORISM, you know?

High/exotic explosives are banned from all stadiums, regardless of size (of stadium).

Warping is not allowed. That?s just cheating.

Weapons are only allowed if they are built into the robot?s body and do not violate any other rules. (So no Z-Sabre for Zero.)

Traps:

Yashichi: A bumper outfitted with four rapidly spinning blades. Most are immobile, but some aren?t. Avoid them.

Drone: A floating Mechaniloid that randomly targets players; to avoid it, get out of its crosshairs. Gray drones shoot bullets; gold, electricity; green, lasers. Size is directly proportional to power. (Some special attacks can stall or destroy drones; attacking with gauntlet is not advised)

Laser hurdle: Two poles with a laser running from opposite points; touching it is a very bad idea. On the ?bright? side, they serve as lights in the event of a blackout (all right, I should be mauled for that pun?).

Charged Drone: An electrified drone that hovers at ground level, as opposed to the regular drones that hover in the air. Running into it will fry you. Avoid.

The lights: Oh yes, the lights become traps the moment their shades are broken. (Skate over them one too many times) They will promptly become, as one (un)fortunate player put it, ?God?s giant death toasters?.

Powerups:

Some stadiums allow these, some don?t.

Energy pellets: Restore energy. Small ones restore 5 units; large ones, 10.

Weapon energy: Increases Special Gauge. Same values as energy pellets.

Charger: Electrifies ball; whoever ?catches? it will be fried. (So don?t pass to your teammates)

Speed Boost: Makes you faster. When it wears off, however, you?ll be tired and slower for a bit.

Power Boost: Same effect and after-effect as above, but for strength instead of speed.

Super Scope: Fires homing rocket at chosen target.

Screw Attack: Surrounds you with plasma when you jump; shred through drones or other players. (Metroid reference)

Events:

(Note that all events are fixed in story mode.)

Blackout: Lights go out and, until emergency lights are activated, visibility is highly limited.

Replacements are lost: Only in-between rounds. The team will be notified of this.

Berserk Mechaniloid: Hey, they malfunction every now and then. A large Mechaniloid bursts into the field; the game is halted to fend it off. Afterwards, the game resumes. Since these attacks are unpredictable, players are not penalized for falling through the gaping holes left behind (lost balls must be retrieved). (To fight it, look for its weak spot and either pound/slash away or throw the ball at it. Workers may subdue it before you do.)

Explosion: Quite simply, something goes boom. The game is immediately abandoned until whatever blew up can be fixed.

Rounds:

Rounds (of which there are three) can last 3, 5, or 7 minutes. Any goals/injuries accomplished after the buzzer are nil. Full games are made of five sets of rounds.

If a player is badly injured and cannot return for another round, a new player will take their place. If there are no replacements available, the game carries on anyway; if players are eliminated after that, the team is advised to forfeit. Should everyone on a team be taken out, victory for the overall game is granted to the survivors. (Replacements must be called in before this happens, if a battered team plans on winning.)

HUD:

The health bar (vertically aligned) of your player is displayed in the upper left-hand corner. Once it reaches zero, you?re boned. (Health bars of everyone else are displayed horizontally over their heads) Next to it are any powerups you may be holding. In the center of the top of the screen in the time. In the bottom left-hand corner is a translucent map, showing you where everything is (green dots denote teammates, the blue dot you, red dots your enemies, gray dots traps, green and red lines your and your opponents? goals respectively). The Special Gauge is in the upper right-hand corner, aligned vertically.

Game Modes:

Story Mode: One of the primary modes. Megaman and his friends are tricked into participating in a Hyper Blade tournament, while Zero and his goons are more or less forced to (Wily is very interested in the large monetary prize). The ending depends on how well you perform (how many players make it to the end, goals scored, etc.); accomplishing certain criteria will strengthen your chances of getting the better endings (like eliminating certain players for good). You are prompted to save after every game. Certain characters and all stadiums are unlockable in this mode.

Season Mode: Play through five games (you are allowed to save after each) with whatever players you choose for both sides. Random events occur in this mode (ex: blackout, sudden loss of player/replacement, etc.).

Time Trial: See how quickly you can win a round (no time limit). Records are kept.

Survival: See how long you can last. Game will not end until all players of one team (replacements are optional) have been eliminated. Records are kept.

Training: Self-explanatory. A.I. and conditions are adjustable. You may use any characters or stadiums you have unlocked; in fact, it is highly recommended that you use this mode to test out new characters and stadiums.

Arcade: Play through three games of increasing difficulty (and a random enemy team). Don?t cry if you get whipped?

Target Mode: Simply put, break all the targets on the field in a set amount of time. Layout is unique for every character. All fields have traps you should avoid.

Event Mode: Complete certain tasks, like finishing a round in a certain amount of time, eliminating a certain player, etc.

Records: View them. Brag about them. Rub them all over your fecking face.

Options: Configure controls, BGM and SE test, name and age change, regional settings.

In second place, we have Mona Risa from REO/dA. Being a European entrant, Mona will probably be getting the money for MM9, a dA subby or some Rock/Megaman prize of her choice at a $20 value.

#2.) Mona Risa's entry:

Mona's Game Description - Rockman.EXE Golf

Console: Wii
Max. players: 4
Online play: Possible

--GAMEPLAY--

R.EXE Golf basically has the same rules and general gameplay as other golf games like WiiGolf and Mario Golf.
Players must clear holes with least shots as possible in order to score points and win the game.
Playing a golf match is pretty much the same as in Mario Golf. The player must determine the direction of the shot,
assess windspeed/direction and lay of land and choose his/her club (wood, iron, putter etc.).
Swinging the club is done by swinging the Wiimote as done in WiiGolf so the human player is responsible for
the force of the shot. Points are kept in the same way as real golf with the same terminology (bogey, par, birdie etc.)
The players are all Netnavis from the series. The golfcourses are all in the Networld, so the surroundings are much like
the Networld areas seen in the series, except that the floor is covered with a grass-like flooring and there are objects
such as pillars, rocks, water and sandbanks strewn about.
Even though it's the Navi that -plays- golf, it's the Operator that can make a difference between winning and losing.
Operators have the ability to alter the course and make changes to (hopefully) their advantage.
This is done through the use of battlechips. At the beginning of the game, an operator has a handful of chips at their
disposal. The amount of chips is consistent to the amount of golfhits for a course AKA permitted turns before getting Bogey.
One chip can be used at the beginning of a turn. There are three types of chips; Navi, Course and Virus.

Navi Chips - Affects one (or more) players. This can be either a power-up for your own Navi (ex. making one shot extra
powerful) or a status to another (ex. making it difficult for him/her to see)

Course chips - Affects the golf course. This can be the placing of extra obstacles like pillars or patches of water/sand or
changing the environmental hazards like the speed and direction of the wind. This can also include swapping the position of
your ball with that of another player. Caution needs to be used for these chips though, since the effect isn't easy to
control and using one can also very much trouble your own Navi.

Virus chips - Summons Viruses on the golf course. Viruses go their own way after being summoned and cannot be controlled.
Though they will follow a certain programmed behavior to some extend, predicting a virus' move stays difficult, so use
caution once again with these chips. The duration of a virus on the field differs with each virus type.

Chips can be bought at Higure's chip shop with zennies. Zennies are made by winning games and scoring points. Sometimes you
can get chips by clearing certain required conditions in a match.

--CHARACTERS--

Netnavi Operator

Rockman Netto
Roll Meiru
Blues Enzan
Gutsman Dekao
Iceman Tohru
Glyde Yaito
Searchman Laika
Magnetman Tesla
Needleman Yuriko
Knightman Pride
Tomahawkman Dingo
Gyroman Charlie
Napalmman Nenji
Medi Jasmine

Unlockable characters:

Netnavi Operator

Sharkman Commander Beef
Shadowman Miyabi
Prisman Misaki
Colonel Barrel
Forte XXX

Characters are unlocked by clearing the five different difficulty modes for a 1-player match.
(Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard)

It's possible to taunt or cheer using your player when it's not your turn. Using the four directions of the controlpad
on the Wiimote, a Navi can shout up to four different cheers. Having the A-button pressed and then choose a direction
makes the Operator shout one of his/her four cheers. These cheers can be either positive or negative towards other players,
depending on which button is pressed. (In the case of Forte, all eight taunts belong to him)

-GAME TYPES-- (This is what you see after you've pressed -start- on the title screen)

Practice mode: Let Mariko-sensei teach you the basics of the game and give you tutorials about how to master difficult
controls and shots in order to improve your golf skills.

1-Player match: Choose your favourite Navi and play against three CPU's. Clear the courses with the best score in order
to win.

Event match: Clear courses with specified conditions given to you by Meijin in order to win special battlechips
and unlock bonus material (ex. artwork, video footage or alternate costumes for the Netnavis)

Multiplayer match: Hook up two or more controllers and tee off with your friends. You can choose a free-for-all competition
or a two-against-two team system.

Online match: Use the WiFi connection to find online R.EXE golfers and play against them.

Higure's Chip Shop: Use the zennies you earned by playing golf to buy battlechips.

Maha Ichiban: Unwind a little with some curry and check out the bonus material you earned in your game.

Options: Finetune your settings at SciLabs to make the game as enjoyable as possible.

In third was Press Start from TMMN. Press Start will receive the Rockman.EXE no Himitsu artbook courtesy of judge Malik.

3.) Press Start's Entry:

Press Start's Description -

Name:
Mega Man Football (Rockman TOUCHDOWN!)

System:
Nintendo DS

Story:
After his visit to America's Greater Robotics Convention, Dr. Light develops a penchant for American football and quickly gets to work on the first annual Robot Football Invitational. He invites all of Japan's budding robotics engineers to develop their own teams for a fantastic televised event. Everything is prepared at the fabulous Nishikyogoku Athletic Stadium, and Dr. Light showcases his own team of robotic athletes.

Dr. Light then announces a tournament for these creations, resulting in a final match where an amazing prize awaits the eventual victor. He reveals this to be his latest developed robot technology: the EX-Nano Particle Manipulator.

An incarcerated Dr. Wily catches a glimpse of Dr. Light's press conference and instantly brews his own dastardly plans for the EX-NPM. He starts to outline his attack for disruption of the tournament and eventual World Domination. Sending a cyborg to represent him under the guise of Dr. John Maddy, he creates a horrific, violent team of football robots. As an extra measure of precaution, he develops a virus that infects the amateur creations to work under his command.

As the master robots of Dr. Maddy enter the tournament bracket and infect the entrants, Dr. Light suspects that something is not right. Not wanting to upset the crowd and his televised spectacle, he pleads for Mega Man to assemble his team and take down Wily from the inside. Mega Man prepares himself for action. "You can count on me, Dr. Light! TOUCHDOWN FOR EXPLOSION!"

Gameplay:
Lead Mega Man's team to victory in a robotic version of American Football. Use your stylus to pass the ball to your teammates, draw plays on the fly, command your defensive line, and more! The defending team can make use of their special robot powers, including legacy attacks from Mega Man games of days past. Keep mind of Referee Joe, who will blast you if he catches a plasma blast or leaf shield from your direction.

Enjoy speed boosts, decoy abilities, spikes traps, and more as you chase down Eddie to get the tools you need for victory! Hit up Roll after each match in the tournament to swap players for the special abilities you need to pull ahead in the bracket. If you reach the end, prepare for a high octane pigskin tossing against John Maddy and his ultimate warriors!

You can also select your dream teams in the online and local multiplayer download play modes of Mega Man Football. Players who complete the single player tournament will also unlock "Create-a-Player" mode, where your dream robots can be assembled from thousands of pre-designed parts. Mix and match powers to make new athletes and enhance your strategies!

Our fourth place winner is Dracozombie of dA. Because the results for places 2-4 were so close, I've decided I'll give Draco the Rockman X3 Vol. 2 manga by Yoshihiro Iwamoto.

4.) Dracozombie's entry - Rockman Tennis:

Draco's description was basically that part on the right of the box cover.

__________________________________________________________________

And to finish it off, our other entries came from Repliroid 20XX:

Repliroid 20XX's Entry:

Rep's Game Description - ROCKMAN BADMINTON

PLAY as a variety of characters, each with varying strengths, weaknesses and special techniques.
FIGHT a motley bunch of Wily's British-esque 'bots to get to the top and face Wily himself.
USE and collect parts and power-ups!

Magic Marker from TUS:

Magic Marker's Entry:

MM's Game Description - DDR: Rockman Remix
DDR: Rockman Remix is coming! In this game, you still go through the same routine of defeating all the robot masters, but with a twist! Instead of destroying the robot masters with your buster, you have to take them down in a dance off! You'll battle your way through all the robot masters on different modes: Easy, Medium, and Hard. You can even dance off against another player near you or someone over wifi! This game can use the dance pad or any controller that goes to the Wii, PS3, and the X-box 360. Popular songs from DDR are featured along with new songs only featured in this game. As you go along, you can unlock songs that can be played in arcade mode. You won't want to miss this awesome addition to the Rockman series!

And marihikari from REO:

marihikari's Entry:

(marihikari did not submit a game description)

Wow, what great entrants. And first place was well-deserved for the winner, what an in-depth explanation about a game *applauds* Second place is fine by me ^^ It was fun to design such a thing.

Until the next contest then :3

And that's why I gave you second. There's just so much text, I had to give it to the General. Plus, the art is just a little bit better. But I like your fake Wii box. Of course, it's obvious that I had to give Mari the last place. She just gave a picture. Sorry. It was pretty hard to choose once I got 1st, 2nd, and last place decided though.

Congrats to all the winners! ^_^ Some of them seemed pretty creative!

Sort of disappointed I wasn't able to get in my entry, but I had decided against it since I was already working on another art contest entry for another site that I had already started on. None the less, however, I'll make sure to enter into the next one, if Rock Miyabi ever decides to make another one in the future, that is.

Wow, what the hell. Only posted here?

I suggest whoever has first dibs on Himitsu contact me right away, considering that I'm leaving on Saturday for college and I'd like to be able to walk to a post office without getting lost.

;p No. It was posted everywhere BUT On-Air. Only because I wanted to make sure it was up everywhere where somebody entered. And then I got tired because it was after midnight and I had to get up for work at 6am. But that has been resolved now.

And I'm contacting you on Himitsu right away after I post this.

Quick little commentary for our participants from REO:

marihikari - I tried to give you a second chance to submit a description, but never got a reply. And unfortunately, since it was in the rules as part of the contest, it did hurt your entry compared to the rest. But you still made it obvious that you were aiming for an EXE Olympics game. If you ever want to post what else you were going to have in the game, please do. You kept it in the spirit of the contest, so as long as you had fun, that's what matters.

Mona - You were the first entry and I was really happy to see you right away mimicked an actual game box well. While I know I've seen more impressive artwork from you before, it still fit as a fun cover that incorporates the sport and the characters well. Can't help but laugh at Blues' pose, ready to duel with a 6-iron! LOL

If it wasn't for RADIX's well-planned novel of an idea, you put forth a really great description and overview. Keeping chips as part of the gameplay was a smart and creative choice. It'd be interesting to see how that would really play out. There's a nice variety in characters, without going overboard. And unlockables are always important in sports games. Very deserving of second place!
