Anyone think we will get lucky enough to play as Bass? I mean, this games does take place after he and treble are introduced and they aren't in the game

Managed to beat the eight robot masters today, so happy. :D

I only figured out like three of their weaknesses though. (skipped over ComicX6's post) The levels start to become easy after you die a good two million times.

Out of the new robot masters I think I like Tornado Man the best. Now I am off to try Wily's stages.

Careful The wily stages are a Pain in the butt. I suggest having atleast 8 lives. (aka 7)

Also be warn that you cannot I repeat "CANNOT" leave castle wily at all. Its a one shot deal if your at the final part. You either have alot of E tanks and lives. OR try beating him without any.

Any way. I just now beaten the game today. Though since I've been playing Megaman for a very long time. It only took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes to beat all 8 Robot masters yesterday.

don't ask how I did it..The levels to me felt easy but then I've been a platformer type of gamer. So in my eyes it looks easy. Cept Wily castle..man I hate that level with a passion.

The games very cool and challenging if you don't follow the Boss's attack patterns.

Would the Neo Geo even count? And actually, they could easily make an 8-bit Bass and Treble. Everyone else has. Treble Jet and Coil anyone?

I just finished the game. I stocked on everything (max. capacity) before heading to Wily Castle. There, I found the bosses to be almost hard to beat. I know their weaknesses now, and I shall post them for your viewing pleasure (spoiler due to amount of increasing cheaters that I know of):

First boss: Shoot the spike balls rapidly until they hit, but remember to avoid them as well. Repeat until all the heads are gone.
Second boss: Use the Megabuster on the tail launcher, Homing Hornets on the body, and then the Laser Trident on the head/cannon.
Third boss: Use Black Hole Bomb on the controller (in this case, the robotic orb) just before it comes out. The patterns are somewhat repetative, but try to clear it without losing a life due to B.Bomb's limited amounts of usage.
Wily boss: For the first tier, shoot and rebound the eggs three times, but make sure they hit the jaw. For the second tier, use Concrete Shot and shoot the mouth (note: this is not a joke for those with perverted minds), and make sure you don't get caught in his flame attack. For the final tier, get up close to the ship and use Plug Ball. He only has two attacks, but he's very hard to hit.

The ending was quite something, I thought I saw Bass/Forte in an 8-bit form on a monitor, but I guess you probably know that already. Plus, this is the only 'good' ending I've seen so far.

Managed to beat it today. This is the first time in a few days that I actually got a chance to sit down and play. I loved the game from beginning to end, I even went up in the attic afterwards to look through my old NES collection.

I will probably try and do some challanges now, I just wanted to make sure I beat it before Proto Man was released.

One of the challenges is basically telling you to make it through the game without using any E-Tanks or M-Tanks. You can feasibly do this with some good effort, but Wily Castle Boss 2 and Wily himself will make that really hard.

You would have to be crazy to get 100% on those challenges, especially Mr. Perfect.

The Twin Devils sucked! Took me about 3 E-Tanks, but I got them, just sucks, give me time to master the game, and shoot I'll breeze through it. I pretty much begun to master most stages, which is awesome. Not only that, I killed over 1,000 enemies already.......dang Mega Man taking over my life, but i still <3 u Razz

Well, I got 10300 Wii points just now (from 8000) and I got MM9. And I got my arse kicked. Mostly falling and spikes. But I'm trying. I'm starting with Splashwoman first.
I also heard Hornetman was supposed to be a girl. Name Honeywoman. It's in Nintendo Power. And I still think we should have had two girls.

Protoman mode is now avalible for Download. Be warn. He recieves more damage than Megaman making it almost hard to get through the stages.

Plus side: He can charge his buster, He can slide, And can use Proto jet and Proto coil as to Rush coil and jet. And while you jump you can deflect mettool type of shots.

Down side: He jumps lower than Megaman, He recieve double the damage. He can only shoot 2 normal shots at a time. Gets knock back farther than Megaman. Unable to use the Item shop so can't buy E-Tanks or Extra lives.

Overall I give protoman a 8 out of 10 in my books. I like how you can do all that on the plus side and be able to deflect certain attacks. His charge shot takes out 7 bars out of the boss I think..I'll have to check with the other ones.

I have only been able to beat Galaxy Man with Proto Man so far. I had Splash Woman but then I screwed up, and I went into Jewel Man with only three bars of health left. It is harder with Proto Man but I should be able to do after a little more practice.
