I've decided to try to cosplay Beast Out Falzar Rockman, so I want to post my progress here so that hopefully u guys can help me by giving advices and comments as I make my costume.
I'll be referring to Ryouko's greiga rockman tutorial so I would like to thank her for sharing her way of making cosplay on REO.
I went shopping today and couldn't find any materials.
I couldn't find a party helmet, only those cone shaped ones.
The dishware I found were all made out of hard plastic, the only paper ones were the plates.
Gonna try art shops next weekend. Any suggestions where to find materials?
Or other ways I could use to make my costume?
Sorry for so many questions but I also need tips on making the wings. I read somewhere on this forum before that someone cosplayed Swallowman before.
Thank you in advance. _________________ Your voice seems to freeze reaching me...

Do you have any Party City's nearby? That's where I found my costume helmets. They should only be about $3 to $4 apiece, or even cheaper now since it's so close to Halloween.
I used styrofoam dishware to make parts of the armor, not paper or plastic. It cuts really easily with an exacto knife, and it's easy to tape up with masking tape.
Good luck! _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Unfortunately, there isn't a Party City at my place. Do you think art shops sell these stuff?
Update. 28/10/08
well, I managed to get some stuff at a art store.
I got some foam yesterday. These are the only size I could get.
And some disposable bowls.
And white craft glue. (wonder if it can be used for my cosplay?)
Planning on getting manila cardboard for the armour.
Still not sure where to get a party helmet and cloth.
Oh, I have a question, because the size of mt foam is small, I need at least 2 pieces to create the leg armour. So, how do u recommend I attach them together? Glue or sew?
P.S. To Ryouko-san, I was wondering how much did ur Greiga cosplay cost u?
Update 13/11/08
I'm concentrating on drawing a manga for a competition right now, so I won't be updating this thread much till I'm done with it. _________________ Your voice seems to freeze reaching me...
