what happens to the cards/chips after Netto/Subaru use them?

I don't remember if this question had ever been asked but I wonder what happens to the cards and chips after the main heroes use them? I know in the games they are usually stored somewhere after one use but in the anime they are completely gone, whatever happens to those chips and cards?

In the first season, there are some scenes that show the chips being ejected from the PET.

Yeah. They're spit out the back. Or with the cards, they probably store in the Transer until you get them out.

Alternatively with the Progress PET the Battle-Card data is stored within the PET's memory, so presumably the data is recycled like in the games.

Also, according to the anime after a Battlechip has been ejected from the PET, it needs to be recharged.

And that time if I'm not mistaken, at the N1 Grand Prix, the last battle between Rockman and Blues, Netto used a lot of Mini bomb chips and they all eject out of the PET.

Yeah. And that one time he jammed all those bombs in his PET. Just one after another in a line. They had to come out somewhere.

Actually, they've actually shown Netto spamming MiniBombs from an angle that lets you see the chip ejection slot. You can actually see the chips spewing out of his PET and hitting the table.

I didn't see chips being spat out of the PET when Netto was on a Minibomb spree. Instead, I did see a chip spit out of the PET when he slotted in Long Sword during the first time he (unwittingly) used his Program Advance.

I guess it stores them in the PET until after crossfusion in Axess too. seems there's a chip capacity of 5, and then it won't hold any more.
