11/20/08: Help me choose something special for YOU!

With the holiday season on its way, I've decided to hold a new REO (not-so) Tri-Monthly Contest beginning on Thanksgiving! The theme is a secret for now (but I promise you'll love it), and I need ideas on what you all would like for a prize.

It can be a book, game, toy... whatever you can think of! I would just like to hear of what you think would be a good prize for this contest, and any others in the future.

In my opinion, if you can get an import of Ryuusei no Rockman 3 (either version), then that would be great. Otherwise, you can probaby buy a gift card, or fill out a drawing request. Though, I highly doubt this will happen.

Ryouko said a (not-so) Tri-Monthly contest THIS November, Malik. M20 won't be out until at least next November, and then will be pushed back again to 2011. LOL

In some respects, it's hard to find EXE-related stuff now, and be things that haven't been offered as a prize in the contests here previously. I'm sure most don't have the Battle Story mangas and they can be picked up on eBay easy now, but they were offered 2 contests ago and are kinda pricey. Some of those Takara figures like Beast Out Faltzer/Greiga Rock or FcR would be loved to have by many. But again, you already offered an FcR before.

Some of those Series 3 Mattel minis perhaps, but they're practically impossible to find anymore. FlashMan still sells plenty of battlechips, that you could do a batch/starter set of those, PETs/etc. If you aren't in much contact with him, I could send a message to see if he's got anything special available. I've been meaning to get back to him anyways. That's a few things off the top of my head at least.

Actually most EXE items are still pretty plentiful on Yahoo Japan. Even PETs only sell for a few dollars these days. I'm always up for toys. XD

The Greiga and Falzer figures might be difficult to find, though. They ran a really limited production since they were released at the tail end of EXE's franchise.

Well then, to correct myself:

For some of us mere mortals who don't read Japanese and don't know how to buy off of Yahoo Japan to get better deals than what we're probably overpaying for on eBay, it's hard.

Everybody's fave online store to bash, Toys n Joys, apparently still has the Griega/Faltzer figures, but who knows if you can totally trust that info.

Hm, prizes, eh? Well, how about one of the film books based off of the EXE anime? You can find them for pretty cheap on ebay... Or, you could always go with one of the art books, soundtracks (although those can be kind of expensive), or figurines, =3

Figures were something I was thinking of too xD Like, that Searchman one nobody could find way back when, which now occasionally pops up on eBay.

There's ah... also always any of the DVDs, in case anyone's actually interested in the English anime. If they haven't been a prize before anyway... 'Course by that logic, there's also always the Japanese DVDs, but those would require a region-free player xD;


ETA: Card game! What about parts of the card game? Have decks been up for prizes before/recently? (Okay sure, nobody PLAYS it anymore-- except for me anyway, which is how I thought of it --but the cards look kinda nice... xDD )

Well, since BN6 was the last game to come out [ T_T ] I say bring on the LiNK PETs! And since um ... I kinda broke mine fiddling with the hardware, lol. LiNK Battlechips too if you're doing the PETs.

I think artbooks would be a good prize as well.

For some reason the Link PETs are hard to find. I haven't even gotten one for myself yet. ;_;
