Invigorate REO! Perhaps a Series Re-Watch is in order?

A Danny Phantom LJ community I'm on started a series rewatch a while back. Basically, we'd make the first episode available for download/viewing. We'd all watch it again and discuss it. A week later, we'd watch episode 2, then 3 the next week, and keep going and discussing each episode. What better way to generate interest than by watching the series that brought us all together in the first place? Smile

I SUGGEST A ROCKMAN.EXE SERIES REWATCH!

So, what do you say? Anyone interested? If I can obtain the series again (working on it now), I'd be happy to coordinate the re-watch and lead the discussions :3

I've got an EXE torrent running right now, but it's going slow. :/ If someone wants to send me the first few eps, I'm OK with that. ^^

Some are in bad quality, though, and you really have to spend a lot of time on the forums to get even a handful of the episodes. ^^U

This would also be a good chance for people who've never seen the series before talk about it. I know there's lots of people who've played the games but not had access to the anime... there's one friend in particular I've been trying to convince to join the forums since you guys are so awesome and I think she'd like it here (if this place would LIVEN UP AGAIN oh my gosh XD) So maybe some anime access and in-depth discussion will lure her here ;D

Aaand if she's reading this, she knows who I'm talking about :B

Sounds good to me, like a book club of sorts only for the EXE anime. Plus, I wasn't around to discuss the episodes the first time they were going around, so it's a good opportunity for me.

I was thinking about this too... A lot of times I wish I had people to laugh with when things happen like Count Elec thinking he's in love with Madoi. XD "DOKI! Hino Ken is surprised!" I'd be up for it. :D

I also have most of the episodes in subbed AVI format. Wink

Sounds great,Marisa,but how far are we going in terms of the series?EXE only or all the way up to Beast +?

I would love to see the second half of EXE all the way up to the end of Stream.For some reason,Beast didn't have that charm...

To be honest, I lost interest halfway through Axess. ^^;; Cross-fusion really defeated the point of the series, I think... but as long as I can get the episodes, I'll watch them and write up discussion topics :3

The problem is Stream is undubbed and unsubbed as far as I know. So for people without any knowledge of Japanese...

True. I'd be up for it, although we should try and organise a time so we could all watch it together and chat on IRC or something. As an Australian my timezones don't exactly match up easily. Sad

Ooh, I wouldn't know how to set something like that up. I wouldn't want to shut people out for being in the wrong time zone... I think it'd be easier to let everyone watch it on their own time and then we discuss it in a thread. But if you guys wanna set up a watching party on your own on IRC, that's cool too 8D

Well, I was thinking about starting the first discussion post on the forum Saturday the 7th. But if we held two viewing parties, I'd be willing to push that back so we could all plan to be online at the same time. Smile

So I think the general idea is "Everyone watches the episode at the same time and chats about it on IRC, and then we all discuss it in the forum after the episode", right?

What day would work for everyone as far as the Western Hemisphere viewing parties go? Is Saturday OK? I'm free all day.

Also, I wanted the discussion post to be a weekly thing, with a new episode every week just like in the good old days. Would you guys want to have a viewing every week, too?
