A little animation I put together that has taken a few months to make. Warning, there may be some X8 spoilers in it for those that havn't played the game yet.

I don't know, I think it goes a little too slow. But I also tend to make everything too fast in my life.

It's a nice sprite animation, but the text at the end dissapears so fast I can't read it. Maybe at the end you sould slow the text down for a split second longer so some people (like me) could read it better?

So slow at first and then the text goes by so fast... It's hard to read the text, and yeah, it is pretty slow... cool though

It seems too slow, unless meant to be. A word... sentence >.> of advise: On most gif animators, the previews go faster than the gif will really be in the finished product. I usually just set all my speeds as "1"(Which would appear as .01 FPS). Instead of repeating the same frame, you can also just lengthen one and it will turn out the same =).

It also could be because you did X and Zero appearing pixel by pixel, which would ultimately slow down the gif -_-; .

If you can fix the speed problem, it would look great =).

I usually set it as 0 FPS. Like the others said, it's a bit slow. Although the text parts a bit fast. And it's true no one likes Vile. XD

I did have it set to 0 FPS for most of it, the one with the longest was at the end with the text. I'll get to work on a newer version since I have some time on my hands with things going on here at home in my life. I'll keep the old one up and just put a newer one up for you all to compare to.

Internet Explorer will not play any gif file faster than 10/100ths of a second per frame. Any frame set faster than that gets slowed down.

Second version of it that is a bit faster and a bit slower at the same time, maybe it is better then the first, maybe it isn't. All in all you all are the final judge.

The dashing speed is a little too slow for X, but I think the Zero part of it is good when it slows down. X's speed when he fires his cannon seems fine to me, too.

It's coming along, though =).

I think the text just needs a tiny bit longer, but not much. The dashing's fine as far as I can see.
Good work

I'm curious, what did you do to make the Vile MK3 sprite?

The base is the original Vile sprite from the first game, and I used a picture of him after voiding out the rest of the body to create the sprite pixel by pixel. I did some of the parts off of the body and then placed them on, resizing them to make them look close to the pictures of Vile in his new form.

I have been busy to say the least in making sprites. ^@_@^
This may take a while to look at and read, but bear with me here peoples.

http://www.wolfeclipse.com/WolfEclipse/Sprites/character1.gif

These I am making for a game that I'm using RPG Maker for and are done in the style of the sprites used in the game. In the game the player can pick to be a male or female at the start, and that is why you see the red and blue navi's first. The next pair of them are the same but with the eyes closed that will be used for some of the storytelling in the game. The ones on the bottom row are random navi's that will populate the area, save for the green once which are used as databases and will tell you the different rules or give you a task.

http://www.wolfeclipse.com/WolfEclipse/Sprites/character2.gif

This sheet contains much the same sprites, save for the start of more characters, including the moderators and administrators of REO Forums. From that little tid bit you should be able to tell that I'm making a game about the forum. To save some production time I'm using the sprites that I've made as the bases for others. Thus far I have done one set of myself, which I thought would be the hardest being a furry sprite. Next is a regular girl navi, not a player navi. The bottom row has a blue haired girl navi, and a Forte like character. At the far end is the start of a PlaugedOne sprite, which I am still working on along with the other sprites slowly.

Now don't ask me when this game will be done since I have no clue of that myself. All I can say is that it will get done when it gets done.

For these sprites I am going to be using in a sprite comic that is a continuation of an older one that I ended long ago. This character was made using editing, recoloring, and careful splicing along with customization. I don't have a name for this character yet, but I shall have one for him soon enough. The sprites used are Forte, Tails, and Zero. These sprites are also to be used in an example thread that I shall be making later.

http://www.wolfeclipse.com/WolfEclipse/Sprites/mffox2spritesa.gif
This is the second character for the comic, a femfatal. The sprites used to create her are Tails, Roll, and Blues. The gun and hand holding it are make from scratch, that's not saying that the arm is though, just the hand and the gun. There is no name for this character as well.

http://www.wolfeclipse.com/WolfEclipse/Sprites/neoship.gif
Just from looking at this one you can tell that I am a trekkie no doubt, this will be the home of the two characters and others that I shall be adding to the cast later on. I don't have a name for the ship yet, but it will most likely have a name based on a mythological creature. I put the two parts that I crafted first in here also to show how it was put together and then reworked to flow better.

Well, that is all for now. Comments are welcome.
*edit* fixed the top two links.

These look quite good, Core. The RPG form of you is cool and looks as though it could be an in RPG on a real system. As a matter of fact, they all do. Smile

Thankies, and think reason the RPG sprites look like could work on a real system is because I kept with the style and size of sprites for the RPG Maker program. ^n.n^
