Rockman EXE Series Rewatch - Ep 4 - Netto the Errand boy!

Well, seeing as my Rockman.EXE torrent has come to a COMPLETE STOP, I don't actually have Ep. 4 on hand. But this one was one of my favorites back in the day and I watched it a million times, so I can actually do this one from memory

Yay, Higure is introduced! He's one of my favorite characters, demasu :3 Probably because I can identify with the geeky, obsessive collector... hehe ^^;;

Another thing about this episode is how much it plays like a retrieval quest from a game. Netto has to go back and forth, back and forth.. with little to no reward. Just like in the actual game! :D Although Netto has the luxury of not running into random battles. No, I'm not bitter from playing Pokemon and realizing how useless Max Repel is in some areas, why do you ask?

One thing I never really understood was Higure's demotion from WWW villain to quirky antagonist. They could have done a lot with Higure had he been a WWW villain like he was in the games -- heck, it would have added a lot of ammunition to his rivalry with Masa, since Masa really would have had a reason to hate him. Plus, if Higure had been part of the World Three Posse, they would have evened out to a perfect five man band. Seems Higure went the way of Madoi as far as threat level goes.

I know I was praising this show before for all the character development the good guys have, but it seems like a lot of the villains lose a lot in response. :/ I mean, we all know what Gauss ends up being like in Season 2, and it's hard to take him seriously. When we finally do get some seriously threatening villains in Axess, though, the main characters start to lose a lot of their depth. Doesn't look like we can find a happy medium, can we?

Higure-san = teh ossum. There are so many hilarious scenes in this series that are due to Higure. He's one of my favorites. (as you can tell by my signature)

This was one of the first episodes I ever watched. I found this and episode 3 on some random site. Once I finally figured out how to watch an rm file, I watched this many many times until I came by a few more in wmv format a few years later. (From exe sites that are long gone by now. ) I remember this was back when I was affected by Netto saying Dang (only not dang) and was wary of watching the other episodes. XD My how times have changed... The "curse" word may also have been part of the reason that I never really watched these episodes with the sound on and my parents nearby... and therefore not with any friends.

I remember being fond of the animation in this episode for some reason. This was a great episode that brings back so many memories, Demasu. (seriously, how could you come up with a character as awesome as Higure Yamitarou?)

I'll upload the ep shortly as a WMV as soon as I convert it. :3 It's weird to be on the giving end of the EXE episodes after so long of looking for each one. O_o
