Shun's past *Spoilers?*

One thing I've been wondering for a few years was about Shun's past.

Okay, Shun was possessed by some dark force, presumably dark power, when he went berserk and went after Saito Style. But, if it is in fact the dark power that possessed him, WHY would it want Saito power, anyway, when everyone knows it's useless against dark power?

And if it ISN'T dark power, then this is a wholly unexplored can of worms.

From what I just read on his MMKB wiki page, He's an ostracized orphan who was possibly manipulated by Wily. But that may just be the game.

That is just the game. I'm talking about the manga (hence why I posted it here); in the English 6th volume, Lan and Megaman meet Shun at the Official Center and proceed to beat the snot out of him. Famous pulls them off and Shun explains that he's not evil, but was possessed by something when researching Dark Power, perhaps by the dark power itself, which is the base of my question.

If that was the D. power, then why did it go nuts over Hub-Style?

But how is Hub Style the ultimate force against Dark Power? It wasn't a matter of completely controlling Hub Style, but of rendering it effectless. Hub style is completely WORTHLESS against Dark Power (the only useful thing Hub Style did was allow Lan and Megaman into the Dark World, and then it disappeared). It was Beast power that kicked Dark power's butt, which suggests that THAT was the ultimate weapon against it.

That doesn't explain why possessed Shun was going nuts over Hub power. He didn't want the power to study it, he wantyed to upload it to Gospel and then destroy everything.
