The World of Rockman.EXE Stream ~ Settei Batch

Alrighty, gonna start with an initial post even though I'm not done and ready to post everything. A few weeks back I purchased some more settei, or production artwork. This time EXE ones, since I have plenty of Ryuusei right now.

I wasn't sure what I would be getting, because all the samples posted on the auction page were Axess settei, and ones Ryouko already has here in the REO production design gallery as it was. The good news was there were plenty of images that were new to me and not already scanned/owned/previously owned by Ryou. The bad news is it was almost entirely background scenery. It might be good for those of you who enjoy the architecture side of animation. And it still is a cool set. But of course I would have preferred more character art. It's not 100% complete according to how many are on the table of contents, but I got most of them.

There are around 85 total settei in this set I bought. Tonight's post will consist of all the Axess ones (including any "repeats" already here at REO), with a small preview of the Stream batch. The rest should be posted by Sunday. I'm nearly complete with my scanning and have to touch the remaining ones up still.

Also many thanks go out to robonyanya for doing some translation work on 3 Table of Contents pages. I felt you guys would appreciate knowing what the settei are for, even if you can tell by looking at many of them. I didn't label my files in the same manner as the ToC, but you can easily look for the marking on the settei and match it with the corresponding description. They should be posted in numerical order according to it at least.

After I'm done posting here, they will be donated to TMMN's gallery once again, where all my Ryuusei ones also are being kindly housed. But I felt REO deserved to see them first. Enjoy.

The MoS has an underground bunker. Why? Because it's awesome. I can't wait to see it! And they have a helipad. MoS=too cool for school. All I need are shots of Net Police Tower and Kifune's office and my life would be complete. But you don't have those, so don't worry about it. I am eagerly awaiting Yuuichirou's lab, though.

It's really neat to see the backgrounds from Stream, though. I have more than I can count from Axess, but hardly anything from Stream I think. So thanks for sharing!

The only reason I watermarked the ones in REO's gallery is because some sellers on yahoo japan are printing off their own and trying to sell them as legit. Just wanted to keep down the piracy of being being cheated. A good way to know you have studio copies is if they are printed on the longer sheets of paper horizontally. If they are printed on normal computer printer sized paper, then they're fake copies.

OK, robo's not quite done with the translation, but everything other than the two remaining table of contents pages have been scanned and edited into my initial post. So you'll just have to guess on some of the artwork. If you can't remember, now that the thumbs are all crunched together, the newest one is "exesettei32." The one that is marked A-12, Ministry of Science Main Room. And they go on from there.

You're welcome, all. Blue, hopefully you'll see that I might just have that scenery you're looking for. And Ryou, thank you again for that info.

*4/9 EDIT* robo finished the last couple of contents sheets, so they are now up and edited into the main post.

Well, the way most people get them is through their connections or Japanese auction sites. I have no clue how to use Rinkya or any of them other supposedly helpful sites for Americans to buy Japanese goods. So all of mine have just come from plain ol' eBay.

Thanks to Ryou's explanation, I know with certainty that the ones he has sold me are legit. And you can tell by some of his other merchandise that he focuses on rare production artwork, many like original cels rather than just photocopies like settei are.

So that's all I can tell you, you just have to keep an eye out.

I'm not going to throw this into a new thread, nor am I going to post them all here. But I just finished scanning my latest batch of EXE settei, all of which were from Axess.

I don't want to step on any toes, since most of them in this batch were ones Ryouko already has scanned/posted in the production design section of the site. So I'm gonna refrain from linking my whole set, and only posting ones not on the site here already. If you do want to see them all, just head to the TMMN forums in the merchandise/media board.

This set supposedly focused on Ep. 28 of Axess, although it was basically just general character art. Obviously if this is all I can provide that's 'new,' I got a lot of normal character art. LOL
